The best restaurants in Stanley Erewash East Midlands

Many Thanks to Georgina and team for an excellent Sunday lunch. We had beef and chicken respectively, great home cooked food and rather good value. I booked online- very easy and great idea as we like to eat late 3.30 pm or after- you can specify your lunch choice so they can reserve it for you- very often Sunday lunches have run out by 2pm elsewhere. Lovely pub, very welcoming and professional and cleaning is ongoing. Also important to mention that they serve rather lovely ‘specials’ dishes as well- not just those on the formal menu. Needless to say, we are looking forward to returning.😁

Visited yesterday, 4 adults, a toddler and 2 babies and had a fantastic meal. The food was incredible and the staff were brilliant, they even managed to make a special Christmas Sharing Board which wasn’t on the menu that day 🎄 One of the staff members in particular (sorry we didn’t get your name) was brilliant interacting with our 3year old and couldn’t do enough of us. We used to visit every two weeks but the new people have put up prices about 50% and they no longer have a child's menu sorry but we will now only visit occasionally as pensioner's we are on a limited budget maybe they would prefer only employed people who have an unlimited budget
