We want to say a huge THANK YOU to you, your assistant chef and all your staff for making our Golden Wedding party such a wonderful success last Saturday. Our family and friends were extremely impressed with all that you created - the canapes, the main courses and desserts; they were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. People also commented on your waiting staff who were always attentive, but never intrusive, with the balance between professionalism and informality pitched perfectly. We shall certainly recommend you to anyone looking for caterers. You made our day a joyous one!

I come back each month to see what David is cooking. My favourite continues to be ‘Asian Fusion’ (the fried rice is amazing) For August they have Spanish tapas which I tried last night…. shortly followed with the dessert platter 😁 Cosy atmosphere and great drinks all round. I still need to come for the bottomless brunch! **UPDATE** 26/08/23 Have now came for the brunch on Saturdays! Portions were very good and I couldn’t even finish it all! Forgot to take a picture of the fresh croissants we had on arrival but the cream to go with was lush I kept it for my pancakes!

We really like this place, good pub food, unpretentious, dog friendly and the staff are all nice and pleasant. We went for breakfast and it was very good...the large full English was very large!..and good value, we go out for breakfast quite often and this one is the best of all! The deli is good too.

This is a bistro, however recently, the restaurant has started to have themed months, which I think doesn’t work particularly well if the chef lacks experience in a cuisine. September was “Indian” month, which is brave considering there is a very good Indian restaurant in the nearby village Unfortunately, the food at Foxes den lacked any real authenticity. The menu served only mild curries. The biriyani came with a side of rice which was odd. The tandoori chicken was burnt to a crisp but we were informed it was supposed to be like this.. it was black and dry. The chicken in the tikka masala wasn’t marinated, so it was plain chicken on top of a sauce which lacked any flavour. The Bombay potatoes were boiled on the skin potatoes in a thin watery sauce, and the garlic naan was a flat bread. The chips were however, amazing. The best chips I’ve ever had. In light of this, I just feel that it should retain its bistro menu and stop trying to offer food that is clearly not a speciality of the chef. Would not recommend Indian night, but the set a la carte I would
