The best restaurants serving African food in Wales

Great atmosphere and good food, lovely African music and food. decoration is nice and welcoming stuff.

We made a large order for afternoon tea for colleagues at work. It was excellent value with a great selection of sandwiches and cakes accompanied by tea/coffee and a packet of crisps. The cakes were delicious - I had tobelerone cheesecake and a lemon cake which were both very healthy portions and tasted amazing. Highly recommended, would definitely get again!

We have just returned from a fab few days in Tenby. Allium gave us a great base to explore the area. The rooms are exceptional and decorated to a really high standard. We also had lunch, and great chai lattes and flat whites. Would highly recommend the rooms and the cafe.

Just had a delicious Sunday lunch at Cleopatras bistro. It was very tasty, we will be returning very soon.

Amazing! I make very nice buttered Jollof rice but when I say it’s nice, it’s one of the best Jollof rice I’ve had in a restaurant home and abroad. I really enjoyed it and will be ordering takeaways tomorrow when I’m leaving Cardiff. People that know me know I’m not easily pleased in a restaurant but I have no complaint at all including the cleanliness. Please keep it up guys. I come to Cardiff once a month and I will definitely be making loads of visits with you.

The food was nice but they put something either in the sauce or the seasoning that creates an unpleasant after taste. I went for a chicken burger and jerk bbq spice. The price is reasonable and the staff are so nice and friendly. The music is awesome as well
