Got served by jeliza today. the food was amazing came when they had their lunch deal on. Crunchy roll and pork tonkotsu was the best. the Service was great can’t fault it, she was really attentive.Will deffo be back again soon!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zumuku Sushi, and I can honestly say it was the best sushi I’ve had since moving to the UK from Asia. The quality of the fish was exceptional, and the flavors were spot on – every bite was a delight. I ordered the zumi special. The service was equally impressive, with the staff being both friendly and highly professional, making the whole experience feel special. I’d like to take a moment to commend the team for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. Especially my waitress Tiara! It’s clear that the staff take great pride in their work, and it really shows in the service and the food. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious sushi!

Really impressed with the food today. I have eaten here before but the teryaki sauce was not to my taste at all. It was very thick, sweet and overpowered and it put me off going again. We avoided teriyaki this time and the food was delicious 😋

Worst service ever, the food takes a long time and the answer is that we can cancel the order and leave, it's regrettable what this restaurant does to its customers.

Really good food and atmosphere. I had the chicken katsu curry and kaarage and they were both really good. The people I was there with had the sushi and the chicken katsu curry as well and they really enjoyed the dishes. The music was really good too!

Sushi was incredible - so tasty I could've had more. Chicken wings in teriyaki were coated in a sweet sauce so thick it solidified into something like toffee, so we didn't finish it. Service was quick and efficient with a smile. Overall would recommend sushi for sure.

Ordered tofu, got a call 20 minutes after my order advising they had run out. Then tried to replace with vegetable gyoza. Advised was ordering tofu for the protein content and given I was vegetarian. Staff then asked if there was protein in pumpkin....terrible service and knowledge. Will not.be ordering again.

Visited this place on a Saturday. A nice little restaurant with a good atmosphere, The food was so yummy and the service was great. Had the happy sushi box, wings to share and gyozas enough for a family of 4. Julyza our waitress was so nice and sorted us out very well. definitely recommend

Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon, and sat in the Window, which was nice to see outside even in the rain! my wife is a pescatarian, so this is a good choice for her dietary requirements. The food was great, we had the Sushi Tacos to start and although quite expensive at £8.95 for two, were delicious, so good, I could have eaten more. My wife had the Butterfly Uramaki Roll and Salmon Sashimi which were really nice with good quality fish. I had the Chicken Karaage Ramen, which I think is one of the best bowls of Ramen, I have eaten. I have tried all of the popular chains in London, but thought that the chicken and miso broth was out of this world, so much so, I bought some extra broth to take home. That is not to detract from the rest of the bowl, the seaweed, soy sauce egg, and of course the chicken, so tasty. The only thing we ordered that was nice but not wow, were the veggie gyozas. We were served by Chun, who was great, looked after us, and explained the menu, thank you for making it a great experience. Suggestions that could make the menu better and 5 stars, is use a seafood broth for the seafood ramen, my wife was considering that but couldn't have it due to the chicken broth. Maybe some prawn gyozas, and ability to mix up (prawn/tuna/Salmon) for the poke' bowls by that I mean ability to mix two or even all three fish for the bowl. Anyway overall a great experience.

Came in early this afternoon with my family to have some Ramen. Great food and atmosphere and Jeleza our waitress was so nice and attentive.

AVOID!! I love sushi and have had a lot in my time but this place was definitely the worst I’ve had. We ordered the happy sushi box platter & The sushi was soft and disintegrating and could not be picked up with chopsticks The sashimi and fish in the sushi was not cold and fresh- instead it was warm and tasteless There was NO SEASONING on either the sushi or the katsu curry- which was not authentic at all the curry sauce was not made fresh just tasted like boiling water and curry paste - we had to ask for table salt which still didn’t make it good enough The chicken wings were VERY overseasoned and we couldn’t finish them High prices for well below average food and bad service Came out very unsatisfied as if we had just ate soggy cardboard for sushi Staff are also miserable

Have had takeaway from here plenty of times and it's always great. Ate in for the first time recently and staff and service were good too. Would recommend both the sushi and hot mains, all delicious!

It is a small restaurant inside so doesn't get overcrowded the food is good quality menu prices are I suppose average

Food was ok but it took ages because the whole restaurant seemed more focused on the take away orders than the tables. The kitchen seemed to be producing plates but 90% of it was take away orders and then it was all stacking up on the pass for ages before being served. Probably ok for take away but I wouldn't eat here again. Not worth restaurant prices for such a poor overall experience

Delicious ramen with proper noodles which is hard to have in the UK. The noodles were also cooked well, not mushy and tough, just right! Last not least, their ramen didn't come with green beans like those jokingly common to see from some chain 'japanese' restaurants here. Highly recommended!

Food was delicious, teryaki salmon was too sweet however the rest was great! Order the chicken wings and the tataki. Very well priced.

Amazing food staff and atmosphere

Went during 50% off promo, it was really busy but staff were great and calm. Kitchen staff was a mess due to the hundreds of orders but can be excused. Sushi was just average at best tried 6 types and rolls and some nigiri. At full price its definitely not worth it, if your in sale and need a sushi fix then it's acceptable

Want to give a thumbs up to the staff and chef who were working on 18/6, as the restaurant was doing the World Sushi Day promotion (50% off sushi). With the temptation of offer, I - a person who used to work in the f&b industry - was attracted to this and could tell that there must be lots of people ordering today. Undoubtedly it took me around an hour to wait for the food, but hey, what still makes you feel down when you just need to pay half and wait for awhile to get the mouthwatering cuisine you had!

I've been loads of times, the foods great. We had 2 Katsu and a Spicy Crab Uramaki. I found 3 hairs in my Crab roll today, first one I thought must have just fallen onto my plate, second one I thought was weird, then I found a third. I work in hospitality, this kind of thing can happen. I informed my server, she came back to the table as she wanted to 'investigate what had happened' and no one in the kitchen had that particular hair type. I then told her there were actually 3 hairs in the roll. We were then offered a smaller roll (Id eaten 2 thirds) or something 'leas premium'. I argued the point that they should just replace it, kind of felt a bit like they thought we'd planted the hair and they came across as being a bit miserable in not wanting to replace the dish that had three hairs in it. She told me she'd speak to the kitchen again, then told us a little later it would be replaced. The replacement dish arrived but it didn't contain any crab, it had prawn Katsu as the main filling with the avocado. I don't complain about it as I was bit exasperated as I'd given them a chance to sort and they seemed to think they could palm me with a cheaper dish. So miserable of them, could have been so easily sorted as well.

The sushi roll is not the traditional Japanese style but worth to try. Nice Japanese restaurant in Sale. The cup for hot green tea is very hot, please handle with care......

Not bad :) the rice is much better compare to another the store in Didsbury , the sushi rice finally became more sour ,more flavour , and it’s shaped to be more authentic. Despite being a bit pricey compared to the past due to the global uncontrollable cost of living, the food quality is really nice. Staff is friendly and give me some good advice for the food, whilst I personally would expect more and more Enthusiasm in such a cloudy day , not bad and above standard service , but can be strive to be excellent x 壽司飯軟硬分明，不俗😌 過吓壽司癮都算係咁

They have got the most extensive choices of sushi and sashimi within the area, and the prices, although not cheap, are worth the money. The seatings are a bit crowded though, when we want to spend the time with friends to enjoy a good meal together. There are authentic Japanese courses as well as some innovative fusion plates. Their 'sushi and sashimi platter' is the best value for money, and just looked great when we last ordered it. However, the one we ordered at their Didsbury branch was more stunning. The location is very convenient as well, close to the Metrolink Station, right inside Stanley Square. When I have friends coming over to visit us who want to have Japanese food, this is the place I direct them to.

I ordered through Deliveroo. As I was unsure what to get I called in, lady advised me on a few things and I ordered all. Genuinely one of the best Japanese restaurants I have tried in Manchester. The beef bao buns are phenomenal 😍😍 I have ordered 3 days in a row now 😅😂 chilli squid is yummy, takoyaki is a no for me as the texture isn’t to my taste, chicken gyoza is delicious, edamame is cooked to perfection and my little ones loved the Californian roll!!

Amazing food with lots of flavours and great for different choices

I absolutely love this place! I first tried it just after it opened when it had a more limited menu. Even then it was delicious, but now its menu has expanded to include poke bowls, katsu curries and noodle dishes if you aren't a big fan of sushi. My wife and I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and had takeaways from them several times as well, and every time it's been exceptionally high quality and delicious. I love the fact that it feels like you're treating yourself to something special, but it doesn't feel unhealthy or dripping in oil like lots of other options. My personal favourite part of the menu is the uramaki special rolls, which taste amazing and look really impressive as well. It delivers fantastic quality food which is smartly presented without being pretentious about it if you stick to sushi, and offers a surprisingly diverse wider menu if, say, you're a group and you've got one person who won't eat raw fish or something. Especially good vegetarian/vegan options as well, I think Japanese food really excels at making meat/fish-less dishes which still feel special and like their own dish, and not just another dish that they've swapped the meat out for something else. Sale has lots of great restaurants now, but Zumuku is one of the very best and is undoubtedly one of the most interesting. Strongly recommend, even for eaters that wouldn't normally go for sushi, and especially for those that already love sushi I cannot get over how lucky I am to have this place so close to home.

Came here with some friends and the kids. Staff kept asking again and again if we wanted to join tables & we didn’t but she kept coming back to ask. The waitress we had was very quiet & kept moving around the table and didn’t take the order down well. The order came out in a way where my food (spicy tuna) was on a plate with other sushi so it all got mixed up & eaten by my friends & I didn’t get my spicy tuna. Ordered dessert sticky toffee pudding which took ages to come out & when it did it was freezing cold. I asked her to reheat & her response was “is it not warm enough?” & I told her “it’s not warm at all, it’s cold” to which she responded “is it not warm enough?” I gave up & when it did come out it was fine. Very small portion for 7.50 from the fridge. Would come again but didn’t like the staff, service, confusion with putting my sushi on a plate with my friends sushi & didn’t enjoy dessert.

Definitely not worth the price. Order 2 rolls. One is Eel dragon roll. The only thing i can taste was cucumber. My another roll is Uramaki Zumi Special. The slice of salmon is very thin. Very disappointing. For this price, you can get a better quality and quantity in the city. Will definitely not go back and wont recommend anyone to try.

Ordered through deliveroo for a sushi platter for £53. Found a disgusting long hair. Raised the concern to Deliveroo. No reply. No refund. I threw the box away.

We have had Zumuku delivered in the past and it has always been very good, but dining in was a whole new level of fantastic. The service was quick and friendly, and the food arrives once it is finished so all meals are super fresh. The food is delicious, and very fairly priced. Hope to visit here again and again!

We had such a friendly waiter to welcome and serve us for the evening. We ordered a Zumu Platter of 60 pieces (nearly enough for 3 sushi lovers) and it was really good! Though, I am a massive fan of pickled ginger in general so if that was unlimited on the tables, that would have made it absolutely perfect for me. We finished off dinner with mochi ice cream and left happy. We could not fault the quality of the sushi... I definitely recommend!

Food is great and staff are lovely (been a few times) but I would much prefer if this place either had a kids menu or just became a "no kids" place so it was clear either way. I took my three year old and they said they could do smaller portions of the adult menu (same as lots of other places do) which was great, but they still charged the adult price (£13.50) for her small portion of noodles. Felt a bit of a rip off vs other places locally where they would charge less for a kids portion.

Delicious sushi i have ever had,

Ordered sushi from them 2 days ago and the food was so nice I couldn’t stay away! Ordered some more today and got a little surprise in it + a hand written note on the packaging. Not only is the food divine and delicious but so is their customer service and team. Cannot recommend enough. 10/10
