Zumu Sushi in Warrington

We enjoyed a fantastic meal here as a Christmas Eve treat. We shared some staters and had a main course each. We ate in rather than take away. The food was excellent and very generous portions. Service was friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back

I reviewed this place back in January. We said that we wouldn’t order from here again because they have got 6 previous orders completely wrong with items missing. Decided to give it a final chance last night. We only ordered 2 items. The first was a prawn dish and the 2nd a 3 fish raw dish. The prawns that arrived were actually beef! The 3 fish dish was only 2 types of fish and the tuna was chewy, fatty and inedible. I rang them and explained that this is the 7th time on the trot that they have completely messed up our order. Once again the same excuses - somethings wrong with our system etc etc etc. When I explained what they had actually sent, as apposed to what we ordered I was told ‘but the beef is nice!’ I told them to send my money back. Which they did. And they were given their food back too. Delivery took an hour and 30 minutes, 45 mins over their expected delivery time. A real shame. Because this place offers a different type of takeaway for a change. We won’t be going there again, it’s not cheap and to get it wrong every time is more incapable than a genuine mistake. Be warned! If you want money wasted, give them a try!

Great food every time. However our purser has had numerous items missing on the last 5 occasions. They did bring the remaining order on each occasion, however it meant that as a family we could not all eat together. Used to be our go to takeaway, but we haven’t bothered since the 5th error.

Used to be a regular customer before they closed and loved it. Found out it re opened so ordered again and we were so excited! Ordered at 6:05pm estimated delivery was 6:50pm and the food arrived at 7:40pm STONE COLD. Called them to let them know and was offered 15% off next order which would be applied to my app. No discount code = no custom. Won’t be going back!!!!

The foods really good but the delivery services is shocking. Every time it turns up a ridiculously long time after expected. Tonight I order on the app at 7.15pm and was given an estimated delivery time of 8.45pm. It’s now 9.50pm and still no food despite ringing them twice and being told it’s a few minutes away.

Absolutely amazing! The spicy tuna temaki was magical- they combined it with little pieces of mango that balanced with the spicy Japanese mayonnaise perfectly. Really recommend the sushi tacos and gyoza.

Really tasty food, good portion sizes and a nice different take away. If you like the chain Japanese restaurant then you’ll love the food here. I found the beef teriyaki and chilli chicken noodles good choices.
