Very good place to celebrare birthday,you can come to eat the best food and listen your own music!!!!!!

Delicious food- so good we had to take some home with us! Great portions, lovely vegetarian selection, and incredible salad. We'll be back!

Had the mixed grill for 2. Was amazing, meat was tender and taste great.

We stopped for breakfast here in July as we wanted something different. The food was excellent. Very tasty, homemade and fresh. The cafe was very full so we had to wait a little while. Our drinks came with our meal, next time I will ask for them first. The decor is attractive and the staff are all friendly.

It was eerily quiet when we ate here (we were the only customers despite it being 7pm in the middle of the week). The food was delicious and service was great! Portions were very generous so we ended up getting takeout boxes to bring the rest of our meal home. The staff are super friendly and I’d definitely go back.

Amazing place with friendly faces and amazing food The coffee is delicious, some of the best coffee in Exeter. The portions are bang on , alongside the taste. We were served by two people , one of the chaps who had glasses had excellent customer service , making sure our evening was smooth without being pushy ! I’d recommend the sharing platters , always a great selection and size.

Had dinner with 8 others and all the food was very nice, staff friendly. 4 of had a .ixed grill before but it was a bit strange how items seemed to come in 6's or 3's which is awkward between 4! My only other gripe is we were by the door which wouldn't stayed closed (door closer adjustment needed I'd say)

We popped in for lunch upon recommendation from TA. The welcome was friendly, the menu had loads of authentic choices and prices were reasonable. Our whitebait starter was fine (pretty standard really) but our sharing-board main and koftas were lovely. Our Mocktails were well mixed and dressed with flower petals. All in all a great place to dine.

They missed a main meal off of our order and the food itself was bland and dull, as well as cold. They were kind enough to give us some bread and hummus to snack on while we waited for the missing item. It was hugely disappointing and I wouldn't return.

Despite arriving for lunch just after opening on a November weekday we had a lovely, warm welcome from Ozzy even though this was our first visit. The food was simple but very good with tasty lamb, very fresh salad, fluffy bread and tasty sauces. I love Turkey and Turkish food so Zukis was a delightful and unplanned treat.

Lovely meal with friends last night. I have been a couple if times before but last night was definitely the best Friendly staff and they were happy to switch an item on my dish to accommodate my needs A few starters to share and a mini mixed grill. Delicious

Zukis in Exeter? What can I say, it was a nightmarish experience. I made the ill-fated decision to order a chicken wrap and chips, and that's where the nightmare began. The ketchup they served was unbelievably acidic, as if they were trying to dissolve the enamel off my teeth with every bite. The chicken in the wrap was drier than the Sahara Desert on a scorching summer day. It's like they took a perfectly good chicken and turned it into a poultry jerky. And let's not even get started on the chips. They were limp, soggy, and tasted like they'd been left out in the rain for a week. I thought I was in for a quick and satisfying meal, but Zukis managed to turn a simple takeaway into a diabolical dining experience. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. If you value your taste buds and digestive system, stay far, far away from Zukis in Exeter.

Our weekend is a Monday/Tuesday so we chose Zukis as our treat night. Walked into a lovely clean and greeted by smiley staff, a tastefully decorated,mood lit restaurant. I sipped two delicious mocktails for £10 and my partner had the Turkish beer Effes. I chose the whole grilled seabass that had a lovely subtle extra flavour. My partner had mixed shish grill which was a huge plate and the pitta bread is too die for. I'm gluten intolerant and I had a whole one (all good). We ended up spending a couple of hours there and across the time it was busy with a lot of non student diners. Really good to see on an early week outing. A great vibe and super friendly staff with good knowledge. Definitely returning!!!

Great place, had a good time for my son's birthday and was stuffed by the end. Lovely staff, and their happy birthday song had all the customers singing along. Great choice if your wanting amazing food and a relaxed environment. Can't recommend enough.

10/10 Turkish food and cocktails! Honestly one of the best Turkish places I have ever been to. I went around 8pm on a Friday and it wasn’t busy at all, seated immediately and started with cocktails before ordering some food. Cocktails were brilliant, extremely aesthetic and tasted as good as they looked. Onto the food! Ordered a chicken shawarma for myself and a mixed grill for my girlfriend, both were served well within 15 minutes of ordering. Both were incredibly tasty; I’ve been to many Turkish places but this is the only one that gets an easy 10/10. The mixed grill, pita, shawarma and sauces were all delicious and I would highly recommend either of these to anyone who visits. Service was top tier, each worker was kind and very helpful. If you’re in Exeter and feeling hungry, this is a must try. A bit on the pricey side yes, but well and truly worth it.

I took my daughter here for her birthday lunch. The food was brilliant. We couldn't decide what to have as all the main courses sounded so lovely. So we chose two main courses and shared them. We had the charcoal grilled vegetables with halloumi, tomato sauce and the aubergine and lamb Kofte. The service was great, we didn't have to wait too long. Our waiters were both very helpful and gave us time to make our choices. Our main courses came along with a large side salad and pitta breads. I recommend this restaurant and we will return. I forgot to leave a tip as I paid by card so I'm sorry I didn't as a tip was well deserved.

This Turkish restaurant is one of the best! We had beautifully cooked and presented food, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Mama is the star here - she is an exceptional cook! A dear friend who dined with us was a restaurant owner and she is also a fabulous cook. She often finds something lacking when we go out to eat, but not here! Everything was cooked to perfection, the ultimate test being the Sea Bream she ordered, which is a delicate fish to cook. It was perfect! She loved it! Thank you Octavian, Mama and all the staff at Zuki’s for the quality of the food and your kind attention to your customers every need. We will be back very soon!

The service was very slow and they brought us the wrong orders. I think the waitress was new. The food (chicken and lamb) was OK, but a bit dry. The salad and borek were good. The place was nice but it could have more character and perhaps have Turkish music instead of English pop. They offered us complimentary Turkish tea at the end which was a nice touch. The prices were a bit lower than most restaurants these days, so at least we have that. They added a service charge to the bill, which was cheeky..

Big portion, freshly made, reasonably priced

Had lunch at this restaurant recently. Restaurant divided into two parts. The one closest to the grill was empty and we were seated here promptly. Our orders were taken and we were given pitta bread and salad. Food was made to order and we went for the meat mixed grill platter for 2. Food took a little while to arrive. We enquired and apologizes were given. The meat platter had ribs, kebab, chicken wings, salad, rice, some chips and more salad. The food tasted amazing. The ribs were the best. We definitely had our fill and we could not eat the second salad. If you are hungry then this is the meal, could have served 3 people. Will be back.

The chicken shawarma needs pickles and more garlic.

Portions we’re on the small side but don’t mind this if the food is great - unfortunately it wasn’t. Sauces were bland, salads had no dressing and rest overall lacked any sort of depth of flavour and seasoning. We had lamb and kofte and the meat was cooked okay but again, bland. An hour after eating we both felt really unwell for the rest of the night.

You will surely get addicted to the food here! Although we are currently on holiday at Exeter but we already went there twice a week and will go there again in the next few days (I hope i can get something nice when we are back in Singapore Arab Street). The food quality, presentation, and good amount of yummy salad they provided were fantastic! The service ~ all the staff there were so friendly and helpful they made us feel like home eating there :) I ordered the lamb minced Kebab and Turkish tea twice as I wasn't willing to try other dishes because they were so delicious haha!

I ordered a chicken box. The box itself was good but inside my box was a bit of rubber. Not only is this extremely unhygienic and unsanitary, this is a safety hazard. I will not be returning for this reason.

Had Trac Birthday Lunch here today … The table was set up so lovely, the service was outstanding and the food was out of this world.. Never been before but it’s definitely one I’m going back too…. Highly recommend ….. Thank you for a lovely afternoon xx

As always the food was great couldnt fault it, the issue was with the service, despite being the only people in there the waitress still managed to get it wrong, not the fault of the chef and this was duely retified , but when we finished our meal we sat there for over 20 mins waiting for the table to be cleared, despite there being 3 pople walking around us, we even piled the plates up ourselves to no avail.

After a long night out, it was time to treat myself with nothing other than a good “feed”. I was convinced I was getting a chicken box from effes, little did I know I was about to receive the most amazing meat and salad box I’ve had to date. Would highly recommend. Workers very kind.

We were visiting Exeter for a wedding and decided to try something’s bit different for dinner. What an amazing place, a nice busy vibe, staff were so busy so but still cheerful and friendly. Took a while to get drinks and order the food but then it all came very quickly. The food was amazing and so plentiful, we could have never got through all the bread! The halloumi and Turkish sausage starter were especially delicious. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Third time at Zukis. We shared a mixed platter for two and a vegetable Iskender. It was lively with a birthday party and several smaller tables which is lovely to see on a Monday night. You get a sense of the community that is developing around this place with lots of familiar faces and warm greetings. The barman/ waiter is always keen to experiment with cocktails and make them to your taste. We love it here and will make it one of our regulars. Great team!

Went to Zuki’s for 1st time last night. We had a warm friendly welcome and was shown to our reserved table. Zuki’s is a Turkish Restaurant and cocktail bar, although we weren’t in the mood for cocktails, we settled on Efes Turkish beer. The menu selection was very good, with a good selection of choices to suit all tastes. We had 2 starters Borek and Sucuk…. Both were excellent generous portions just like we get in Turkey. Wife then ordered Chicken & Melted cheese on a bed of Mushrooms and sauce … this was fantastic flavour and a very generous portion. I had the mixed grill for one suggested by the waiter, again a very large portion arrived but the chicken and lamb shish, lamb chop, lamb ribs, chicken wings and Kebab were all perfectly and freshly cooked. The salads and warm pitta bread served with every course were simple but well seasoned, really nice. It was just like being in Turkey. A great atmosphere. Two people sat near out table for their first visit, saw our main course and ordered exactly the same… they too were overjoyed. We were offered desserts but we were too full, but accepted the Turkish tea to finish the night. We had a fantastic night and will not be our last…we were told by staff that the shop next door had been acquired and the wall will be knocked through to make this restaurant bigger. Give it a try if you like this food, you will not be disappointed, by far the best in the area

Food was simple but excellent. When we say Simple we mean fresh, as it comes and not over garnished. Simple meals freshly cooked and enjoyed by us both. Nothing was a problem. Simple mistake, only 1, was rectified immediately. For us that is a sign of a great restaurant if it’s not right it’s soon rectified without a problem. The waiter was fantastic. Thank you All

This lovely restaurant situated on sidewell street in Exeter is a family owned businesses with delicious food and a beautiful ambience. Perfect for a bit with your friends or family as well as for those special date nights. The food here is of excellent quality and to they have a wide range of drinks available at the bar as well, the family that runs the place are extremely friendly and make the experience of dining here all the better. I have been to this establishment multiple times and would definitely go back, it's a 10/10 from me.

Booked Zuki's on a recommendation for a birthday meal celebration. Zuki's Crew were the friendliest, most accommodating and welcoming staff, they made the evening for us as a party of 19. The food was fabulous, fresh and tasty, with their own take on Turkish favourites. Everyone in our group kept commenting on what a great night it was with such a brilliant atmosphere thanks to being such a friendly team. Definitely recommend and will go back.

Fabulous family run location for an early evening visit for great food, coffee, wines and superb cocktails. Well worth taking the time to get too even though not right in the middle of town. I have been a few times and each visit was welcoming and a pleasant evening.

Just left our first visit and are wholeheartedly impressed. Hands down the best dining experience since being in this area. The amazing aromas hit you as soon as you walk in the door. We knew it was going to be good! Great service from friendly and helpful staff that was speedy but not rushed. The food was all very fresh, exceptional in taste and authenticity. The lack of low star reviews should tell you everything you need to know about this place. The prices reflect the quality of this establishment. You get what you pay for. We WILL be back.

This restaurant deserves 10⭐️ . The best Turkish restaurant in Exeter. It was the first time that I went there to celebrate my birthday and everything was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly. I recommend it ! I will visit that place again soon! ❤️
