We've been here many times mainly as a group celebration. Always good quality food and service. However, special occasions like mothers Day are very very busy and the noise level is incredibly uncomfortable for adults/children who are neurodivergent.

My daughters 18th birthday was absolutely brilliant. Excellent staff 💯 recommended

Best Italian for miles around. Staff friendly and attentive. The good is out of this world, Pizzas made from fresh dough and the lobster ravioli is delicious. Thanks once again guys!!

The place is stylish and cozy and a lot of times they have a live pianist playing during the evening. The chefs are the best in the world. The food is the tastiest every single time I eat there. The good; food was delicious, compliments to the chefs. The bad; Horrible service. Sat down and had to ask to order a drink after 15+ mins waiting. Ordered bottle Prosecco and JD. Had only 3 drinks entire night as was abandoned, the final straw was being asked if we wanted a dessert menu, which was said sure and 20 mins later still nothing. Asked for bill, never once asked if the food was nice, was we happy and nobody said a word on the way out. Lovely food, cheers to the chefs!

Amazing service and food was gorgeous

This place is so hit and miss! When the food is good, it's excellent! But other times it's poor. The service is always slow and a bit frosty, but it used to be worth it for the food. But the last couple of times the food hasn't been as good either. Today, my wife couldn't eat hers but mine was 11/10. Inconsistent....

Gorgeous food, excellent service from all staff members, they were all very friendly and brilliant with the children, lovely atmosphere, will definitely come again and recommend to others.

10 of us attended for a Retirement Meal . Disappointed as had really been looking forward to catching up and a nice meal as not been to Zucchini 's for ages. My meal to be fair was lovely. Two of our party had steak both returned it as it was cold. The steaks returned and were both half eaten. They were asked about them when plates were collected and both said they had not been the best. The bill arrived and the two steaks were still on. No offer of a free dessert or coffee and an absolute no to having at least one knocked off the bill. With a "well.she had eaten it " and a " I did ask if it was OK " . She hadn't eaten it . 10 customers who won't return again and a very quiet restaurant for a Friday night.Really think standards have slipped. Won't be back.

We were seated and the waitress left so we were unsure of what to do (came at lunchtime for the buffet ). When we saw her again we asked what to do and she showed us where the food and plates were etc. We were pleasantly surprised at the selection of food. It was very tasty, although some of it (pasta) was cold. We had pizza, lasagne, battered chicken pieces, vegetable cakes and salad. We had 2 helpings each and a soft drink. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again as it is spectacular value for money, I'd just suggest the waiting staff ask if you have been before and explain the process if not and maybe go earlier to avoid certain items of food dropping cold.

We are (or now were) regular customers to this restaurant. We left today after waiting 2 hours for our main meals. Being repeatedly told it was being plated up, staff were clearly lying to us. Eventually we began to leave, it was at this point they put our food in the ovens. Really, really disappointed. AVOID.

Go every month but service and speed of preparation has slowly declined. Waited over 2 hours and still no main course- told it would be ready in 2 minutes and after another 20 minutes told it was just being put in!! Will not be going again, lost a group of 8 people that went every month- shame because food is amazing but you just can’t wait over 2 hours!

Beautiful authentic Italian food. Went on new years eve 3 adults 3 kids every one commented how nice the food was and great service with a great atmosphere. They even had a man playing the piano which added to the ambience. Beef filet stroganoff highly recommended

I’ve been to zucchini’s many times and always felt so underwhelmed. I’ve heard lots of good reviews for the food but can’t say I have ever had a good experience. Food is very bland, I shouldn’t have to add salt to my carbonara for it to have flavour, nor should my carbonara be flooded with sauce?!? I get it if I went to a standard restaurant/ supermarket… but a supposed Italian restaurant? Hm. Doesn’t sound right to me. There was also a lump of what tasted/felt like mozzarella? Why this was in a carbonara is beyond me. I have given this place so many chances, not again. Improvements seriously need to be made.

Don’t visit this joke of a place booked a table for 7pm and just walked out at 8 worst service I have ever seen in my life definitely would not recommend

Got risotto and it was like boiled rice with sauce on the bottom. Very salty too. Nothing like a risotto

My first choice when going out fir a meal. Live the food, staff - just everything about this place.

Waited over 1 hoir and half for food and when it did it was only warm not hot. The pizza was very poor. Won't be visiting again

This time was not as great as usual and was ABIT disappointed also nearly choked on a bay leaf. That was left in my food.

The food here was lovely, we came on a Wednesday and it was a lot busier than expected. While the service is expected to be slow when it's like this , we were forgotten about a couple of times, and it took around 20 minutes to get the bill after we asked twice, the food however came very quick. You could tell the staff were up against it, though, so we didn't complain or give anyone a hard time, and they were apologetic. I would recommend this place as the food is great and the staff are nice, i would recommend going when it isn't as busy however!

Zucchinis is a favourite of my workplace, we always have good food from here whether we're eating in or taking away. The staff are very friendly and accommodated our large lunch take away order and made sure we had everything we needed. I'd definitely recommend these guys!

First time trying this restaurant, we have ordered 2 pizzas which was nice however we ended up finding a hair in one of them. They have knocked it off the bill but we won't be back. The wine has also been brought out in a dirty glass, with some black residue on the inside of it. A bit disappointed but the waitress was nice and sorted it out for us.

Had a lovely meal for our daughters birthday. It was really busy yet the service was quick and the food was amazing !! Had the cake brought out and she was sang Happy Birthday by most of the restaurant. Lovely evening!!

Popped in for an evening meal after some retail therapy. Staff were very friendly and were able to help us decide on our starter and main course. Food arrived promptly fresh cooked from the kitchen, which could be seen from our table. Food was very tasty, and the house special pizza had a good zing to it. Judging by the meals delivered to the surrounding tables, portion sizes are good, you won't be going home hungry. Will be back to try some of the other choices available. Give it a go, don't think you will be disappointed.

Pizza toppings were good but base was soggy. Took 15 minutes longer than expected to be prepared.

I went to Zucchinis on Monday night and I thought it would be quiet but it was heaving with people. The service was good and we were greeted at the door straight away by someone we thought was probably the owner. The food came quickly despite the place being very busy and the food was scrumptious. It was also very reasonably priced with four courses for under £20 - not sure where else you could get food as nice as that for so cheap!! We will return

34 of us went for a colleagues birthday...wonderful food and great atmosphere

We came here for my friends graduation. We pre-booked the table for 10 people at 6pm. The last to arrive was 6.15pm due to work. We were there until 9pm and we only had 2 courses. Cutlery wasn't refreshed between starter and main course. Starters came at 7.15 and mains came at 8.20pm. We asked for the bill and that took about 20 minutes to get. There were children at the table who had school the next day. We were told at about 7.50 that ours mains were next yet they still took 30 mins. The food was spectacular and I couldn't fault it in any way. A aoluteoy delicious but I felt that there was no apology or explanation for the wait. The restaurant was semi busy but they had loads of staff on. Tables booked in after us, left way before us. I may visit again on a lunch time to see if the service was any quicker as the food was spectacular and reasonably priced.

Delightful experience. First time eating at an Italian restaurant. The food was lovely. I’d highly recommend the seafood ravioli! I really appreciate the place having halal chicken also. Just gives you more of a variety than the seafood. The service was slow but worth it. I don’t blame them, they’re super busy and there’s already plenty of staff who all look occupied. Credit to the chefs and staff for giving a welcoming experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Dropped on this place today whilst we was in batley had a lovely meal sat outside in the sun with my wife and daughter the restaurant was busy and we was still served fast the drinks come straight away and started not long after the food was amazing and the staff was great too definitely glad we found it we will definitely be coming again

My first time ever visiting this place. It was really loud and noisy to say there wasn’t that many people in. Started off well a staff member came over and took our drinks pretty quick, drinks took about 10-15minutes to come. We was waiting quite a while to order any food which wasn’t a massive issue. We ordered starters and main. 4 adult starters and mains and 2 children mains with ice creams for desserts. All the starters were perfect no complaints however the main meals were not Upto standards. My partner had carbonara which was dry, claggy and tasteless she had about 3 mouthfuls and couldn’t eat anymore as it wasn’t nice. The adult portions were the same size as the kids, Infact it looked more like the kids portions had more to them! We also had a pizza which had oil dripping from it and the plate it was served on was swimming in oil. The staff where all over the place, it was like they had no idea what they was doing. We had to cutlery to even start eating our main meal so we asked a staff for some which took about 10mins to bring.. we kept having one staff member coming Upto our table to bring us random places of food which we hadn’t ordered as he was getting all the tables mixed up. It was just a shambles, I would not return here again. Just no co-ordination to running the restraunt and wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Fantastic service! Zucchini hosted my mum's funeral tea. Nothing was to much trouble the service and food was fantastic all our guests were really impressed! My aunty had her 1st ever lasagne and absolutely loved it. The private room is very comfortable and would suit all occasions. I can't thank Egor and all his staff who went over and above and made the day a perfect tribute to my mum.

Go for a meal and you’re there for about 5 hours. They’re more interested in you spending your money at the bar. So slow.

The staff were not very attentive. Service was on the slow side. Nobody even bothered to ask if we wanted dessert!

Attended a party. Buffet food was tasty and hot. Staff friendly

Great with children and there is often kids around and food is amazing especially the spaghetti Bolognese as it's a classic

Been here a number of times and until this visit could not fault anything but our meals were not up to par, when I told the waiter who asked if I wanted my entire lasagne boxed to take home, he and his chef seemed amused when I told him it was inedible burnt and dry no sauce remained in it, I tried several times to get waiters attention but to no avail, my guests spag Bol was honestly as dry as a bone but she was too nice to complain…..final meal of 9 was 10 minutes late to the table which wasn’t good and I was charged for the lasagne that clearly didn’t get eaten in a bill of £313! Sorry but will not repeat our visit again…..

Giving a 2 star rather than 1 as sometimes they be fine, but a can't count how many times they get the order completely wrong. For example tonight I ordered a ham and cheese...but got a terrible looking pepperoni and meatballs (if you can call it that). Given them lots of chances but no more... Going straight in the bin.

Quieter than usual but a lovely experience

Very Slow service, asked for drinks and took over 20 minutes to get to our table and half of the drinks ordered were missing. Plus half of the meals on the menu had sold out but only told at time of wanting to order at 6.30pm won't be going back.

Great food great atmosphere can't fault the food

My husband arranged a surprise birthday recently. The staff were fantastic, the food amazing, as always and yes the restaurant was busy. I don't see how this can be viewed by previous reviews as a negative. Surely you eat out to enjoy the evening, if you want a quick meal go to the golden arches. Please continue doing what you do because you're great. Thanks for a great evening. Xx

Never in my life seen staff like it one individual female and one male 《 cooking 》 both set about a very young member of staff made her cry followed her into a room shouting and carrying on in front of a full restaurant! Was over charged and a meal that never arrived ! Seriously need to sort there staff out ASAP!!!!

Great service and amazing food!

We came here tonight for a special birthday meal. The food and atmosphere was fantastic. However the service was terrible. We sat down and after 20 minutes we had to ask someone to order drinks - they made us feel like we were burdening them. We waited 30 minutes to receive the drinks. We waited 1 hour to receive our starters. This was only after asking where they were. We were told 15 mins until our mains would arrive which ended up being an hour. A waiter did come and apologise but by this point it had had a huge impact on the night and the person who’s 18th it was had to leave before we had finished due to how long everything had taken. We waited 2.5 hours for 2 courses.The food was great as always, but did not make up for the poor service. I have been coming to this restaurant for 18 years and have always had fantastic service and wonderful memories. The food remains fantastic but this level of service cannot continue. I hope this feedback will help to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers in future

Visited for a party, food was lovely, staff were great, sadly it was packed and the staff were run off there feet, no glasses behind the bar and nearly 30 minutes to get served at the bar and they were trying to fit more than 2 people on a single table , I paid for a table not half a table which appears greedy trying to cram more people in than they have tables to accomodate.

Service was very slow...it was a Saturday thou.....could not use two vouchers...only 1 per group....after I asked her why only 1 voucher.....she replied.....you should have sat separately to use two.....then said....we are a restaurant not a pub or salon.??????

Booked the for half 6 got there at 6-15 got told at 6-35 are table wud be ready in 5 minutes 30 minutes later after asking member of staff we got seated at a table for 2 with a chair plonked in middle of everyone’s way as the 3rd chair but least we was seated finally started orders taken straight away but again a wait of 40 minutes before they arrived the waitress asked if we was ready for our main course we said yes again 50 minutes go by without no one coming near table to explain why the delay eventually I asked wat was the problem they said they was busy but the empty tables around us said other wise absolute disgrace will not step foot in here again

Lovely food but the waiting times from been seated were horrendous. We were in there 3 hours to have a starter and a main. Then they brought out the desert menu. We left before ordering a desert as didn't want to wait another hour. Yes they were really busy but they should have more staff on when busy. Don't think we'll go again, which is a shame because the food was good.

Promised the food at 9, it arrived at 10:30, I was at work and they said they will deliver it at 9, we have 30 minute breaks, no seriosity at all, ordered a calzone, the thing got stuck by the bottom box, something disgusting leaking out of it, overcooked the top, the sides were not cooked at all, 8.50 it cost, they should sell this for 0.50, it literally is a disaster, first time and thr last time I order from these people, please do not order from them, like I said, total disaster!!!!!!!!!!! only giving one star because there isn't an option with lower rating!!!!!!

I don't visit this restaurant usually, but it was a work event. I feel that there is not enough staff when busy, and waiting time at the bar can be a long experience. The food is ok, but meat dishes from the main menu do not include any accompaniments and chips at £4.50 add considerably to the bill. The special set menu however, was good value. We asked for a dessert menu which never came, so we gave up in the end.

Waited an eternity for a tomato bread starter. Main course, prawns like rubber. It wasn't busy, so that's no excuse.

Visited from South Manchester for my daughter's 18th Birthday (so Grandma didn't have to travel). Party of 8. A slight delay of just 10 mins for seating (we had brought our booking forward by 30 mins at short notice so no real problem). Zucchini's is a big family restaurant and can be a bit noisy but suited the occasion. Food was universally enjoyed. Antipasti platter was spectacular, mushrooms in cream sauce were really fresh and salmon, crayfish and prawn tagliatelle was lovely. None of our party chose pizzas but if these were as good as they looked, they have to be the best value pizzas for miles around - the Calzone looked spectacular. We didn't order desserts as we brought our own cake,which the staff were happy to bring to the table with candles lit. We only mentioned the birthday on arrival but staff made a lovely occasion out of it - even a tray of complementary Limoncello shots to round off the meal. Was as fast as a busy Friday night allowed; they were slightly short staffed but all the waiting staff and managers were hard-working and friendly. We would not hesitate to return under similar circumstances, and we would not hesitate to recommend Zucchini's to anyone in the Batley area. Thanks to everyone for a fab evening. It really got Harriet's birthday off to a great start.

I am sat in a Zizzis right now and it is making me wish I was sat in Zucchinis. So instead I thought I'd give Zucchinis 5 stars, as you do - great place!

Ordered starter and mains 1 starter came with pesto, my daughter severely allergic to nuts no warning on menu, mains very bland, received bill for 12 mains 12 starters only 6 of us went, revised bill still incorrect drinks on we didnt have, wouldnt go again

First visit since moving back to Batley and I'd forgotten just how good this place is.

Went for a family meal on a Monday evening, very busy on arrival as believe had a set meal on which must have been very popular, especially with families and got quieter the later it got. Food good, plenty of choice and service l from all members of staff spot on. Lots of parking, just make sure don’t overshoot the entry.
