This is a lovely family run bakery with a range of breads, cakes, pizza, samosas and nan breads. Fast friendly service and they do bulk orders if you give 24 hrs notice. I took a box of samosas mixed and onion bhaji's to a BBQ and the vanished. Delicious

Home baked bread and amazing falafels. Had a kebab sandwich and falafels and was only £4.00. Great value and defo worth a lunchtime visit if you work in town.

This review is for Zm Zm Bakery in Leeds Kirkgate Market not the sister Bakery on Harehills Lane which is sadly nowhere near as good in the form of cleanliness or quality of food. The Food from the Market branch is excellent especially the Chicken Shawarma's. All the bread is freshly baked and the customer service is friendly and helpful. I will definitely return next time i'm in the area!

Had a quick stop lunch here in the Leeds Market shop, tried a Chicken Shawarma sandwich, brilliant value for £3 - a fresh Turkish bread stuffed with lots of spicy tasty rotisserie chicken, salad and sauce, what more do you want, lovely. Also bought 3 freshly made Turkish breads, amazing value for £1 and took home 2 baklava's, again great value at £1 each and were delicious with a cup of coffee. Cant wait to return here asap!

Great fresh food that is served with a smile for a very reasonable price. There are a limited range of food options, but this is set in a competitive space and the Zm Zm bakery is pushing a particular cuisine.

Have been to their stall in Leeds market their £3 chicken shawarma sandwich must be the best value for money in Leeds.Beautifully flavoured chicken shawarma packed into Turkish bread .The wife and I get one too share with a portion of chips which is plenty for both of us raising the price to a whole £4.Give it a go you won't regret it.Really friendly service too ,and gets busy round lunchtime no wonder.

This is one of the new food places in the refurbished Leeds Kirkgate Market. They have a short menu of felafel, sharwama, pizza's, breads and cakes and tapsi. Sharwama is chicken - well flavoured and served in a levened bread - a cross between a pitta and a bread roll. So more doughy than a wrap or a pitta bread. So it makes for a very filling and tasty snack / lunchtime sandwich. Felafel was very good and served as the sharwarma. Decent salad and chille sauce. The Kurdish Tapsi is a large portion of chicken and vegetables served with plain rice. A simple but tasty and filling dish. Baklava was rich, sticky and again a decent sized portion. With the tables outside for eating a good spot for lunch - with very good value, freshly basked food. Have not had the Pizza but that looks good too.

Always been a good pub but was quiet when I was there a few months ago. However this time it was packed and had great live music (ok, it was my band: I'm a bit biased!). Great selection of cask ales and friendly crowd.

I uses Ibis when I just need a basic clean comfortable 1-2 night stay in a city. But in this hotel, at least in my room, that standard has fallen. Shower was leaking, toilet seat was loose, curtains were dirty with stains, so was the kettle. It is just lack of care and attention.
