La comida era muy buena, clara y bien sazonada. El ambiente era cálido y tranquilo, parece bastante relajado, aunque durante el servicio de la hora de comer puede ser lenta. Precios razonables. Sin duda volveremos pronto!

I hired out the bottom floor of the restaurant for a private party recently, and it was so beautifully decorated by the staff! Such friendly and helpful customer service every step of the way. They had disco lights, a cute little dance floor, and even arranged for us to have a female waiter as it was a girls only event. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to everyone!

I went to Zaman lounge for a late lunch last Friday and even though I live over an hour away I will happily make this trip again. Authentic Somali food, well-prepared, well-seasoned & meticulously presented.

The food was strange looking but actually quite tasty. They were a bit disorganised until a lady with proprietal air took over! Altogether an interesting experience.

I had a Groupon voucher since I wanted to try Somali food. This restaurants beautifully blends East African and Mediterranean cuisine with flavorsome dishes. The service was excellent, we were tended to by 2 lovely waitresses who made us feel at home. Lovely atmosphere and decor with dimmed lights, perfect for a romantic dinner. The mango salad was so delicious with a sweet and tangy dressing. As a main I had chicken pasta with a portion so big I had to ask for a take away container. The sauce was creamy, the chicken tender and juicy, a true delight. I will definitely come back and samples other meals from the menu.

After coming across this venue on groupon, I had no idea what to expect but I had read positive reviews online & hoped for the best. We arrived & were greeted by friends of the owners and were made to feel very welcome. As we were the only ones there (guest-wise) we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Initially there was some confusion as to what we were having because we were using Groupon, but after having spoken to the owner over the phone, things were sorted and we were able to order and enjoy our evening. The food was beyond wonderful & the portions, my goodness! You need to go there on an empty stomach because the portions are wonderful and hearty! We loved it so much that I'm returning with more friends and my sis is planning to do the same. I just wish it was closer to home! It was a pleasure and I truly cannot wait to return! Thank you!

I was recommended this place by a friend who is Somalian, and they were also running a deal in Groupon so I decided to buy the deal via Groupon and booked this place to eat. It’s about 20/25 mins walk away from Shepherd’s Bush station. On arrival there was some confusing with our table booking as the staff didn’t know that we had booked in advance via the Groupon site, as it was a week day and the place was empty, we were given the choice to sit where we like. We ordered our food, thinking that the waiter understood our order, due to lack on communication on his part the order was messed up slightly. However, once we showed the chef what we wanted things were put right and we received our food. The food was so delicious and the portions were massive. We were later greeted by one of the owner of the resturant who was more than accommodating and made the experience really good. We would definitely be going there again and cannot wait to try some of their other dishes. For starters I would recommend their version of samosas and for main course so they lamb shanks! One of the best shank I have ever tasted and as a side order order rice which is included in the price .. happy eating ! 👍🏽👍🏽😋
