Zaafran Taste Of Nepal in Cannock Chase

This is one of the best Nepalese restaurants in the U.K. I drive from Birmingham to come here. The food is all fresh and taste truly like homemade, not westernised. The momo is amazing and you get large portion for good price, and the Chatpate is the best I have ever tasted. They also do chicken and lamb on the bone which are both amazing. The staff are so welcoming, just as the food is amazing, the staff are a key reason to always come back. If you try it you will love it.

It’s hard to find proper authentic Nepalese restaurant in the U.K. however everything here is like homemade. The momo is the absolute best and the staff are incredibly friendly. My friend went and brought me Bhale ko gravy back and it reminds me of being back in Nepal. Outstanding place.

I've had takeaway once before (which was delivered in good time) and this evening had dinner in the restaurant. The menu is huge and offers so much variety. All of our dishes were delicious, the staff were attentive and polite. Such a shame that the restaurant was not busy (although it being midweek I can understand to a degree) because I think this place is a gem. I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family and will most certainly be ordering takeaway again when dining alone.

Loved it, fresh and very tasty dishes. We had onion bhaji, chicken samosa, saag paneer and bullet lamb. Served piping hot and beautifully presented. Server was very attentive and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Nothing was too much trouble, highly recommend.

The food was lukewarm warm. Portions small, ordered two meals only received one complimentary popadoms! I didn't receive 10% discount which is advertised on their leaflet.
