JamJam Caribbean Takeaway Cannock in Cannock Chase

Food was delicious! We had the oxtail & the jerk chicken. Meat was cooked perfectly & wasn’t too fatty. We got medium portions and it was more than enough. Would definitely come back!

I have been wanting a Caribbean takeaway for since forever since I have moved up from London and I noticed jamjam a few weeks ago,so my partner popped in yesterday,he had never had Caribbean food before so tried we loved it, we both had the curried chicken with rice and peas and stew veg and coleslaw,the food was absolutely delicious and the quality of food was excellent, the portions were massive and the price super cheap. The man was pleasant and happy behind the counter too has was his wife,We shall definitely go again very soon.And my son can't wait to have it when he comes up to visit cos he loves Caribbean food.

It was my first time in the area and I was recommended to come to Jamjam by a friend, the food was absolutely amazing 10/10 and I would definitely be back for more. The shop was super clean and staff were really nice and welcoming will definitely be back again!

The food was INCREDIBLE, the owner made us feel so welcome and gave us a sample of saltfish to try. Curry goat was fantastic, and the callaloo was amazing. Best rice and peas I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.

Ordered from another place called woods (you might be thinking Mitchell this is Jamjams what are you on about, give me a min) and was severely disappointed, the oxtail was shocking and had about 5 peices and the jerk wrap was a soggy mess. Complete waste of money and time. Still hungry i decided to order from jamjams, i have before very recently and extremely enjoyed it.... back on to uber eats and decided to have the oxtail and it was unreal! Ate every last bit licking my fingers after, everything was spot on from flavour to presentation and portion sizing. Was just this rich beefy oxtail with a mouth watering seasing combination on a bed of fluffy rice and peas with a side of beautifully done veg. Extremely happy and will definitely be returning regularly.

Nice flavour but dry hardly any gravy n no steamed veg in with rice like last time which didn’t help and plantain was just soggy ..

Pretty good, nice food. Ordered a ginger beer but got sent grape soda, so one star knocked off for that.

Jerk Chicken was 10/10. Best rice and peas I've tried. Steamed vedge was lovely. The kind man gave me some oxtail to try, which was amazing. Will be recommending to everyone I know, and definitely will be returning!

No flavour to the food. Chicken dry and chewy. Need to use separate containers for each food item so it doesn't look like a dogs dinner. Terrible

We’ve been going to Jam Jams for a couple of years now , always forget to review . Garfield is a fantastic chef and his lovely lady too . If it’s not done he’ll cook it for you or ring ahead and it will be ready and waiting . Mutton soup made with coconut the way it’s done in JA is delicious . Waiting for your food he’ll give you a taste of callaloo to while away the time . We love the food and usually have a chat too . It’s worth the journey from Stafford to get real Jamaican food , fantastic portion sizes and really tasty . Suits all tastes. Out of all the Jamaican takeaways Garfield at Jam Jam is the best .

First time visiting last Saturday .Poor service received from the owner who took the order . Very nosey and unprofessional in his approach . Tried to charge me £45 for meals that should have totalled £20. (ackee and salt fish with rice and peas, jerk chicken with 2 fried dumplings) I Initially gave him £20 cash and he asked if I had £5. Used a card machine and he took £25 paid by Apple Pay instead of £5 while he was still holding onto my £20- I had to ask him back for the £20 cash. Realising I had paid too much. I called on Monday to query amount charged , asking for the price of food ordered. The owner went into a defensive rage and became quite aggressive, shouty and talking over me , saying he would never rob anyone, then announced that a drink ordered by my friend ,who was with me hadn’t been given to us and we had gone by the time he realised . Instead of apologising for his error, this man continued to shout and rant with no apologies for his mistake , but said that he intended to give my friend the drink when he next came in . He also made derogatory remarks when in the shop a directed at me within earshot thinking I hadn’t heard ,but I didn’t comment at the time .I challenged him about this . He claimed he was joking trying to apportion blame on me for his comment. The food wasn’t all that . So much gravy with the jerk chicken which is unheard of unless served with rice . Won’t be going there again for sure!!!🤬

Absolutely the best Caribbean joint in the midlands! Food is always absolutely perfect paired with amazing customer services i've had from here 20+ times and never had a single issue with any food i've had from jam jams! Massively recommend you get yourselves to jam jams to try it.

After a hard day at work, I stopped by Jam Jam to see what was cooking. I had the curry goat and rice large portion. Wow it was tasty remind me of home from home in the Caribbean. If you want authentic Caribbean food this is the place to check out. Big up to the chef. One love

People who work here are so lovely and obviously so passionate about what they do. Food was absolutely amazing! Never tried Ackee and Saltfish before but it's definitely my favourite meal now. Also tried my partner's curried chicken and it was unreal. So glad I got a chance to visit here and I'll definitely be a regular moving forward, I can't wait to try everything else! Do not sleep on this place I promise you'll regret it

Horrible meal! Hard food was all very grey. I expected the plantain to be charred and at least looking cooked but it looked like something from a bush tucker challenge. Didn’t expect to have a large, bland microwaved boiled potato. Lots of water in the bottom of the tray so assuming it was all microwaved. Won’t be returning

For the price you’d expect more than 2 mouthfuls of chicken. No flavour other than salt, definitely not fresh either.

Stopped by on a spontaneous visit late on Sunday Evening. Ordered a curry goat, rice and peas and steamed veg plus a side of coleslaw. The goat was melt in the mouth soft, fresh and full of flavour. 10/10. To top it off friendly service with a smile👏🫡🙏

Been coming here since it opened. Curry goat, stew chicken, plantain and patties are my go to. Boyfriend loves the stew chicken and my dad loves everything. The guy who owns it is so lovely and friendly me and my dad always stay longer for a chat. Chucks some freebies in too from time to time. Thank you for all the lovely food over the years
