Yungs Chinese Takeaway in Barrow-in-Furness

Thoroughly enjoyed my curry from this takeaway. And they included free prawn cracker. Even without the crackers the curry was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

the boiled rice was ok, but then can anyone get that wrong? Salt and pepper chicken wings had no salt or pepper and were tasteless and overcooked. Chicken and cashew was more like a chop-suey, with everything in it. Singapore vermicelli was not spicy at all. had a few shrimps but was mostly noodles and tasteless, Prawn crackers were dry and crisp but again had no flavour. in broad terms this was rubbish.

Appalling service. We’ve had takeaways from here since we moved to Roose over 20 years ago. The service tonight was worse than appalling!!! We will definitely never even try to order again. The staff on the desk was ignorant and totally disrespectful and wasn’t interested in taking our order!! We could phone from outside the shop apparently!! Absolutely get COVID guidelines and we adhere to them to the line, but oh my god this was a step too far in ignorance and disrespect from the staff. Went to the Green Jade on Barrow Island instead and got excellent service and amazing food. We’ll go there every time in future and not even give Yungs the time of day again.

Fácilmente los mejores chinos en Barrow. Nunca he tenido una mala comida y todos los que he probado han sido deliciosos. He probado los otros restaurantes en los últimos dos decenios por curiosidad, pero siempre vuelvo a Yungs. Bien hecho al personal.
