Yun Hua in Lambeth

Chicken wings were delicious. Not so much then beef in black bean sauce and vegetable fried rice, which lacked flavour. Tis a shame as used to love ordering from here. Hey ho!

I don’t normally have a problem with this place but the food tastes burnt but didn’t look burnt spent £40 and when trying to call no1 answered very disappointing as it’s not a cheap meal

Very disappointed in the food. Noodles tasted burnt, crispy duck was dry, cucumber and spring onion weren't fresh - they were dried out, crispy chilli beef was way too sweet. No prawn crackers. Food was over-priced as well. Won't be ordering from them again.

Used this restaurant for years and was disappointed item missed off order and then when calling the number as driver advised me to no one answers calls and it cuts calls. No choice but to request a refund when we would have preferred to just receive the missing food. Ruined the experience.

I must say that all the fried rice was very Bland, tasteless, no flavour at all. My children couldn't even eat their dinner. I was highly disappointed as it was my birthday and we deceided to eat in but kids had to snack instead becasue they didn't like what they order. Very very disappointed.

Everything was nice and flavourful. I just wish the amount of wings was specified. 8 wings for that price would be fine, I got 6 wings for £7, which doesn’t feel like enough for such a price.

Chow mien and sweet & sour chicken tasted and smelt very smoky, like someone had been smoking while cooking. So bizarre and ruined the taste of the food. We’ve ordered from here a few times and always liked it, but won’t be ordering from here again.

Again, trying to find a Chinese take away where the flavours are balanced between sweetness is proving to be painful. The food here was far too sweet and not really good. As it had a high rating I tried it for that reason, but will not be ordering here again. Just-Eat really needs to look at the rating system that it reflects the expectation of good food. If the delivery is brilliant, but poor food this has to be reflected properly to avoid dissatisfied customers.

Food was average and some bits of my chow mein looked burnt. Some of the rice was under cooked too

I’m not very happy with the duck it was quite burnt and slightly inedible

Used to be our fav Chinese in the area for over 20 years. Now it's just disappointing. Rice was hard and dry, sweet and sour chicken was bitter and tasted old, in fact the whole meal tasted reheated. Too many times now. And it's an insult to call those "duck" spring rolls with less than 1% duck in them.

Can always count on tasty hot food being delivered.

Food was not as described, very unpleasant flavour, sloppy texture, unlike any real chinese food i've ever tried, so bad in fact i threw it all away and made myself miso soup

The king prawn curry tasted very strange, a few others tasted it and one said it smelt sort of waxy. Had to throw it away! Very disappointed the sweet and sour tasted good but just the curry was a concern

Ordered from here via Just Eat tonight. The driver was unfriendly and grumpy, my order had an item missing and an incorrect item. The most distressing part was the incorrect item as the sweet & sour chicken balls didn’t contain chicken, they in fact contained prawns (something which I don’t eat and I only discovered the mistake after eating part). The rest of the food was cold and mediocre at best: mushy chow mein, strange tasting mushrooms and congealed curry sauce. Avoid this place, there are far better Chinese takeaways around with better food, better customer service and better customer experience

Not very good customer service

Food took 70 mins to arrive. It turned up stone cold, nothing hot. Taste wise, chips were sweaty and soggy. Main dishes were swimming with oil and sauce, beef was chewy making this officially the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. So disappointed.

No indication of delivery time when placing order, 2 to 2.5 hrs when order placed, never had to wait 2 hrs for food. Kept hoping it was an error and food would be earlier so didn't cancel my £30 order. When arrived, were to past wanting to eat anymore. Called & was told only had 2 driver's. Terrible delivery service.

Mr order was over 30 minutes late. I had to call twice just to make sure they was actually going to deliver it. Won’t be ordering from them again. Food was okay nothing special and nothing to wait a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes for my food to arrive. Order was place at 8.27pm and arrived at 9.49pm.

Really good sweet and sour sauce

The food was not fresh and we eat spicy but the chillies here have been left for days to melt and it was deadly. Plus everything was a soup. Will not be ordering again.

Good food however spring roll has chicken in it! My veggie flat mate almost had a heart attack. The crispy beef is also in the exact same sauce as sweet and sour chicken - not good.

Collection was around 15 mins late. A large order was standing in the way. Better to manage expectations. Waiting on a cold night was not pleasant.

We usually order from here as the food is so good. We made a mistake with our order which we didn’t realise until it was delivered. We called the restaurant and they generously sent us a replacement. Great customer service!

Food was ready when promised bang on time, and very good. Portions are rather generous so I always end up having leftovers as next day's lunch. Sign of great food is that it's pretty nice even the day after.

We ordered a set meal for 4 but the spareribs were missing and rest of dishes were not as listed. Instead of sweet and sour pork we had chicken. The beef in black bean sauce was chicken. The chcken in satay sauce was beef and the prawns with cashews was actually prawns with mushrooms. What we got was tasty _ just not what we were expecting

Food arrived late and freezing cold. Contacted the restaurant to advise and they told me to contact Just Eat, no great service all round! Very disappointing.

I'm self-isolating and Just Eat promise contact-free delivery so I was shocked to find the delivery man on my doorstep handing my food to me. Won't be using Just Eat again for the foreseeable future due to this high-risk behavior.

Pedimos una comida para llevar el domingo por la noche y nuestros platos principales de carne crujiente y pollo con chile estaban cubiertos con una salsa demasiado dulce y no comestible. Las tostadas de gambas, el arroz y las galletas de gambas eran buenas. Los rollitos de primavera estaban bien, pero nada especial. No volvería a comer aquí debido a la salsa dulce que arruinó nuestra comida. Estoy seguro de que el personal es encantador, pero como teníamos una comida para llevar, no puedo comentar.

There was a metal wire in my beef chow mien. It looks like the wire from a paper clip. Kind of gross but I still ate the food.

Great food, exactly as expected. Very generous with the pancakes to go with the duck, which was appreciated. Plenty of king prawns in the king prawn dish. I definitely anticipate ordering again when I need a sugary Chinese feast.

Normally a great takeaway and very happy with what i receive this time a big let down on delivery time which has cause most of the problems as the food was cold. Substitution was requested on a product and this is normally a standard request i always make and this was not done this time.

I found it almost unedible. Rice was over cooked and had lost its integrity. Ribs was very fatty and lacked flavour, you can tell it was super cheap cuts despite cost almost £7. Most was thrown away

The food was ok. A bit stodgy and the duck with the spring rolls was very dry. Ok food, but probably wouldn’t order again.

The food arrived 1 hour 30 mins late. They sent me chips instead of spring rolls. The spare ribs were not pork but lamb. If this was the case it should be indicated on the menu. The black bean beef sauce and special fried rice was tasteless. This is my first and last time ordering from this place. Never again.

Absolutely thrilled with how lovely our delivery was here. This was the first time we used Yun Hua and we were so impressed with the quality of the food. Definitely one of the nicest Chinese restaurants in the area for a takeaway. Yun Hua were also kind enough to listen to our delivery requests and made sure to call us when our delivery was there, as they understood our doorbell wasn’t working (most delivery places let our food go cold just by the front door). Can’t recommend enough
