I ordered from this place last night 1st time and last time too 37.00 pounds worth after discount driver called to ask where the house is after giving the full address and directed him he arrived I gave him a 50.00 pound note the driver said he doesn't have any change and complained as y I gave the 50 note He complained all customers paid cash and no change I said to him to call the restaurant so I could pay with card thanking this would be the best option But again his boss said to give cash absurd!!! Ridiculous service ride driver who was hyper NEVER ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN RIP OFF

If I could give a minus 1* rating I would. The food here is absolutely stale and disgusting. This place has given me food poisoning. The reviews on Uber eats and just eat are all false. Honestly, I wouldn’t even feed my dog this.. absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. Feels like it was cooked 3 days ago. Avoid by any means necessary!

Food was nice, noodles were FIRE 🔥 & sweet’n’sour sauce wasn’t giving any good vibes (it was basically jelly) Service was great arrived early. Atmosphere was outstanding the vibes in our bedroom are phenomenal. Overall decent place 4/5

Ordered through just eat, their reviews are probably fake. I got the starter platter which was overcooked and dry, the seaweed was pretty good though. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken aswell. It was OK, had a good flavour but also overcooked. *some if this chicken tastes off*

Orderd on Deliveroo, waited well over 2 hours to just end up having to call them and then lying and saying that they couldn’t find the flat as address wasn’t on the details (WHICH IT WAS) also I got no phone calls so just proves that they never even attempted to deliver (They even lied saying my phone number wasn’t on there which it is). Now I’ve seen the Google review pics I think we got a lucky escape not eating their “food”. Dishonest lying people. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE. I wish not to add a star at all, the food was very bad. It was burnt like they scraped it from the bottom of the pot. Not much meat in the special fried rice, the duck was not bad. The reviews on Deliveroo were probably all lies! And it’s soo expensive and the portions was not as big was they said, we do work hard for our money. Please just improve or for the sake of health, close down

Said 30mins when I ordered, but took 1hr 20mins! Order still wasn't "delivered" on app an hour later. Food was average, the sauce was a bit runny for me, egg fried rice a bit bitty, taste was ok though. Don't expect to get through on telephone - always engaged. Think the 30mins is a scam to get orders. Driver was rude at door too - he got lost because he didn't read the delivery instructions. I'm driving myself & picking up my food for the foreseeable future !!!!

Absolute disgrace. Indian clerk was rude and kept on ignoring my calls. Hung up on me. Told me he ‘didn’t know what is Chinese food’ albeit the chef agreed to redo the dish for me. Then altered my location to ‘too far to deliver’. If you don’t please stop working at a Chinese place. Go back home and claim benefits instead. Will have ubereats issue full refund and report to any relevant council. Believe I can have the entire thing served again for free due to poor quality according to UK law. Will have this guy witness.

Food arrived two hours late, cold, and missing some items. Tried to call the place but phone just rang out every time. Spent the second hour of waiting trying to get a refund but it’s impossible to get through. The food that did turn up was bad - chips were soggy, the meat was stringy and the spring rolls may as well have not been cooked. The reviews on justeat are almost definitely fraudulent, avoid at all costs.

Order took 3 hours to deliver, while expected delivery time was 30 minutes. Did not pick up when we called from the number with which we ordered, but did pick up from another phone number. Very rude treatment and they hung up. Did not follow delivery instructions so food was delivered at the wrong place. The food itself was pretty bad as well. It was cold, had some weird meat in it that we couldn’t identify and there wasn’t much taste to it. Never had any experience like this. We didn’t eat to food so we basically just threw away the money after waiting for hours.

SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY. I ordered food through deliveroo while staying at a hotel and they lied claiming they'd delivered the food and 'handed it to me personally' per the deliveroo agent.

We was staying at a hotel in London and were quite hungry so we looked on Just Eat at nearby Chinese Takeaways and we found Mr Chinese. We ordered the food and it did take quite a while to arrive! But once it arrived we started to eat! The soup and crackers was lovely! The satay chicken skewers not very nice they were dry and hard but the sweet and sour chicken was delicious it was very nice and I really enjoyed it! I probably wouldn’t eat a meat starter from there again but I would have a main.

Scam. Food never turned up, couldn't call them. Edit: food eventually arrived 2 hours late and tasted awful.

We ordered food from Mr Chinese via Ubereats and it was terrible - lots of the order was missing. The aromatic duck didn’t come with pancakes or hoi sin sauce. The starter platter was inedible - the spare ribs looked revolting. Our bill was over £50 and we were looking forward to a really nice meal. We have tried to contact Ubereats about this but no reply. We then called Mr Chinese directly and they said we needed to complain to Ubereats and that maybe the delivery driver stole some of the food. Don’t get food from here.

Colleagues and I ordered here for lunch and it was terrible. Fried rice was dry and boring also bbq spare ribs was tasteless.

Didn’t ever deliver my order. Didn’t answer the phone. Didn’t have tracking. *Okay it finally arrived after over an hour. Everything was so cold it wasn’t edible. Gyoza’s were basically frozen. I’m confident I could’ve made a better homage to Asia from the remnants in my cupboard.

Absolutely AWFUL food. Just East reviews are completely misleading - should have checked Google before ordering. Food was pretty much inedible. Congealed sauces and poor quality meat.

Horrendous,beef curry came with little to none beef and was practically curry with a layer of oil on top. The takeaway also forgot to put my chips in the order,when ringing the first time to say what had happened and was missing from the order the staff of the takeaway rudely hung up. On the second phone call they agreed that they had forgot the chips and would send them over right away so I decided to wait with my food until they came. Now over an hour and a half later they still aren’t here my over food is now stone cold and will once again not answer there phone.

The food is as terrible as the customer service. DO NOT order from here. The order took over an hour to get here. The spare ribs tasted like they were deep fried in OLD oil or some sort of fish oil. The spring rolls were undercooked. Called to ask them to take back the food and they said no, call tomorrow when the manager is around. Also, was told “well you should have ordered something else, like noodles or something” Terrible food - terrible service.

Cheap ingredients but over priced

Very disappointed. Waited nearly 2 hours for it to come. Got it as a New Year’s Day treat and have now spend my New Years on the toilet. Wouldn’t even feed it to the dog. Violent watery stool. Mr Chinese have lost a great customer.

Food awful. Ordered Singapore noodles with beef and salt and chilli squid. Noodles arrived cold. Plain just 1 piece of dried beef and full of raw onions. No squid at all. Bag open when arrived. Didn’t feel safe to eat. Rang restaurant to complain. They put phone down. Rang again and called a liar and threatened by the guy who said he’d cooked it. As I was told we have your address and my safety threatened, I have reported them to the metropolitan police. Luckily I recorded the call Vile service. Horrible food. DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH

DON'T BOTHER. Ribs were 100% fat. Prawn toast cold, soggy and undercooked. Noodles had no char and were underseasoned. I've worked in professional kitchens for a number of years, and have worked with a lot of imitation chicken (tempeh, soy, pea, tofu etc) and the "chicken" in the chicken black bean had the same texture and taste as fake imitation chicken. And they have the cheek to charge £9+ per dish. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

A commendable effort at managing to get the very basics so badly wrong. One of the few places where pretty much everything is inedible, even down to a chicken skewer. Poor quality ingredients, especially the pork.

The star provided is for delivery time. Ordered pad thai. I’m currently eating dry pasta and chicken. No other ingredients provided that come with this dish. Aka noodles, peanuts, lime, egg, veg. Massive avoid.

I order food that I never receive it. I called them many times to the restaurant and tried to solve this situation with them since I put in the notes. “ call me when you arrive to open the main door for them.” but the driver didn’t call me. It was their fault, and they wanted to charge me extra money if I wanted to receive my order. I refused that option, and I told them that I wanted my money back. The guy was rude and I did not receive any answer from them. I lost my food and money.

Ordered through just eat, came on time, food was lovely and hot. Ordered peking ribs which are in fact lamb rather than pork but I loved these, they do have quite a lot of fat on them but that’s understandable, special fried rice was also beautiful as was curry sauce

I ordered my food at 14:33 it was confirmed. At 15:59 food still not arrived and the restaurant not answering their calls. I couldn’t cancel the food. I am sooooo disappointed and don’t even know why this restaurant is still allowed to operate. An absolute terrible service and not worth it.

If you ordered from here, I’m sorry! Just take your antibiotics and you’ll be ok! The ratings on Just eat is what tricked me! I’m assuming those ratings were bought by them! The food came cold and was very, very dry! I couldn’t even enjoy the food properly so my mind decided to just enjoy the idea of it being tasteless. There was no seasoning there was no flavour, just try imagine eating sand paper and and saw dust. No one in that building is a chief! Just prison convicts not yet ready to give up crime and a scam to make money from the public. Felt like a promise of going to Disney land and then ending up at the local park with crack heads offering you half eaten sandwiches! … I don’t care what anyone says! Two stars and that's a hard push, Was not delivered at 7.45pm it arrived just after 8.30pm ! ... food was cold. Sweet and sour sauce for spring rolls was inedible - about 95% white vinegar - nothing like a sweet and sour sauce. Spring rolls were soggy. Potato wedges we cold, soggy and looked like wet slugs. Won't be ordering from here again. Not worth it at half the price.

ok so I was nervous as I made my order then looked at reviews and they weren't great. Luckily I received my food on time and 2/3 dishes were really good ! I Had the pepper + salted prawns , Special Chow Mein and prawn balls. The batter for the prawn balls was too heavy - they needed to be less doughy - however the chow mein + prawns were great !

These people are crooks!! £40 order through Just Eat and waited 2 hours. The 40 minute deliver time, turned into 2 hours. Then delivery flagged as “delivered” but went to front door and there was nothing there. Spent an hour constantly trying to speak to them, they just don’t answer. Total scam!! Avoid these criminals like Covid.

Unlike many others, our order did arrive. We might have been better if it hadn’t. Very disappointing food with no real flavour or punch (and a strangely reduced choice - how many Chinese takeaways don’t offer any pork dishes?). Very disappointing. Will never try again. (Expensive at that.)

Would give zero stars if I could. Called the takeaway to see why it was taking well over an hour to deliver our food, while all my friends around me received their food deliveries despite ordering after me, and I was hung up on by the takeaway. Awful awful customer service, no apology or nothing.

Never order from here. The reviews below are correct. They are liars and never delivered the food. When confronted they just shout down the phone and give abuse with phrases like ‘if you don’t like it then don’t order again, it’s your problem’ do yourselves a favour and order from much better Chinese takeaways in the area.

Ordered via just eat. I will never do it again. The driver delivered my food with so little care that the sauce pot opened in the road and was all over the plastic containers. I still decided to give it a try and the chicken was dry, the ribs were awful and so badly prepared, clearly not fresh and I had to eat a couple of spoons of the rice just because I was hungry. Very sad experience as a customer.

I had a real issue with a recent order from ‘Mr Chinese’ (sadly this was my first, and only order). I had placed an order with them for delivery, but the food never arrived. I was then forced to wait on the phone to speak to them to check why my food hadn’t arrived (the phones go unanswered). It sounds as if my order was somehow given to the wrong person, but I got very little back in way of an apology.

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND. THEY DELIVERED MY FOOD TO THE WRONG ADDRESS AND THEN REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE.
