Dragon Garden in Lambeth

Quite possibly the worst Chinese takeaway in the Western World. Before it was taken over it consistently used contituted meats, bad service and really not anything like you would expect. Enter new management..... Worse. The servers don't actually know what you are ordering, Have to use a PC to find your order. Food is diabolical. I urge you to travel as far from this hell hole as possible

Ordered some chilli hot wings with some fried rice etc. The wings were so re-fried that it was dense as a rock. We tried offering it to my mate's dog and he didn't even eat it.

We were staying in at holiday in express we went to this takeaway which is 5 minutes walk from us ,the quality of the food was very nice ,the portions were very generous and the guy at the counter was very friendly.We liked the whole experience and recommend this lovely takeaway to every body.

The food was absolutely nice made from fresh ingredients in front of our eyes .Very good quality ,I definitely recommend this hidden gem to everybody in Vauxhall area as u can go and enjoy the fantastic food.

For people looking for non-religiously slaughtered meat this is not the place for you as the takeaway menu states in small writing at the back it is halal, although this might be what some want. Unfortunately like many misinformed caterers they also believe seafood is vegetarian and have multiple dishes which clearly have seafood in them labelled as vegetarian, which leads me to wonder if the other "vegetarian" dishes also do.

There food is disgusting it’s a joke the management team is so lost they need a wake up call the set meals are a joke small portions shamble

The food was nice and the ingredients were fresh,the staff were friendly,all i can ask from a local takeaway in vauxhall.

In my years of having Chinese this ranks as the worst… Attitude of the lady at the front counter was very poor and the food matched her attitude! I've had lemon chicken here three times in the last five years and has gone down rapidly every time. Yes then maybe other things which are good on the menu however going by this woman's attitude I very much doubt it! Don't waste your money!!!!!

Prior to this week's visit I last visited over 2 years ago. My memory of it was good, but this week my experience din''t reflect this. I ordered; > Chicken balls > Sweet and sower sauce > Crispy chilli beef > Small egg fried rice >> Price - £11.50 My thoughts; > Dissapointed didn't come with prawn crackers > Chicken balls not fresh, clearly kept "hot", but were look warm and soggy when I opened them 5 minutes after paying > Sauce and beef tasted chemically. I know to expect this with cheep Chineas takeaway, but this was marked and rank. I wasn't ill, but didn't feel well later in the evening. The sort of washed out and jittery feeling you would get from washing down 6 big macks with a pot of strong coffee. > Portions were not generous especially considering price and quality. £11.50 gets you a lot of food in the Vauxhall area, but not from Dragon Garden clearly. > The staff mixed friendliness with discurtacy in a particularly unindearing way I can't quite put my finger on. Good side? > Served quickly and efficiently. Perhaps because food not cooked fresh or because I was the only customer at the time. Would I recommend? > Only if you don't care what you are eating, are very drunk, and don't mind missing out on the good places up and down the South Lambeth Road.

This is the second time we ordered from this good old fashioned Chinese take away in Vauxhall. Don´t judge a book by its cover. The food is great, quick service for a really good price. It´s not too heavy on the M.S.G. I recommend the pork fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken balls.
