Amazing food, extremely professional service, best thai food in islington! Very good choice of curries, noodle and styr-fries, all fresh and delicious. We’ve been coming for years and it never disappoints!

Very delicious! I'm a tourist from China and i've tried many Thai food back in my country. And what i had here were definitely among the best experiences! We had seafood cakes, gyoza, drunken noodle and yellow curry, they were all very yummy indeed~

The food quality was not worth the expensive price. Aromatic duck was dry, sirloin was not cooked well (seemed cooked then last minute grill marks??)- Edible but was expecting more for the price.

Food was good, but delivery driver was rude and refused to deliver to correct end of the block of flats (as the postal address was at the other end to where we live). Will not order from this restaurant again.

Really yummy (like the name!) and fresh ingredients, savoury spicy curries and the prawn crackers were a nice touch. The chicken was slightly tough in the Panang curry, but the flavours made up for it.

I ordered via Deliveroo on the way home. The app automatically updated the address to where I was when placing the order instead of my usual home address. I called 1 min after placing the order. No one would answer the phone. Tried contacting Deliveroo. They did nothing. Delivery cyclist called when they arrived at the wrong address and refused to come to my address because they’d have to cycle up a hill. Poor communication and terrible service. Ripped me off and left me without food.

Great and delicious! Goong Chu Che with Tiger prawns was amazing, good quality prawns and seasoning is perfect! Please made sure you secure better plastic tray, soup and sauce spilled quite a bit

It was nice , but I always find a delivery isn’t as good as when you actually go to this restaurant, why is that? . The pad Thai was all clumped together, the green curry consistency was so watery, still nice but just not as nice as I’ve had in there.

I hate to leave a bad review, but this is the third time i've ordered tofu and mixed veg green curry and the third time it's arrived WITHOUT TOFU. If it had said on the menu that it's just mixed veg I wouldn't have ordered it, plus expensive4justVEG

This food is rather fusion and not traditional. I ordered Pad see ew and it was presented with western broccoli instead of Chinese broccoli or Gai lan. I was so surprised and deeply disappointed. Western broccoli is not appropriate at all for this dish. What I found super strange though, is when I raised the issue with the lack of Chinese broccoli in the dish, the employees acted as though it was completely normal to have western broccoli and made me feel awkward to have even asked. Thinking they didn’t know what I was talking about, I showed them an image of Chinese broccoli on my phone. They didn’t say clearly, “oh we decided not to use Chinese broccoli,” and acted vague, and I wondered if they even knew what I was talking about. I seriously felt like I was being gaslit. If you search for the recipes online it ALWAYS is served with either Chinese broccoli or Gai lan. I’ve only eaten this way in traditional Thai restaurants and at home with my super talented partner cook so I guess I’m just spoiled. I assume Chinese broccoli or Gai lan costs more than western broccoli in London? They didn’t charge me however for the Pad see ew dish and I simply ordered something else, which I suspect was also not strictly traditional. I guess I’m too much of a purist and have too much expectations.

Beef Massaman curry very disappointing, definitely not a Massaman curry, beef was tough and coconut sauce clearly bulk sauce with beef added, should be rich dark gravy with very tender slow cooked beef (with potatoes). Don’t make a curry if you don’t know how to, or don’t call it something it’s not. I never write poor reviews but felt I had to. Just had the sauce and rice.

Food is amazing, have ordered so many times and always loved it. Tonight I ordered, and due to misleading wording on the app, didn't receive an item. I rang up to query this, and instead of apologies, (I didn't even want the missing item sent, I just wanted to check they knew about the wording to avoid others having a similar issue) I was met with a very rude person on the other end of the line. A shame really, as the way I was spoken to has made me not want to order from here again. If she had just apologised, I really wouldn't have cared. We spent a fairly large amount of money so disappointed in the customer service.

My first time ordering with Yummy Thai and I will definitely be ordering with them again. Very good value for money, lots of meat/prawns, large portion sizes. The only dish that was disappointing was the lamb with herbs, which had great flavour but the lamb was soooo overcooked and tough.

Spice was perfect, spot on thank you to chef, highly recommended 👌

Wonderful surprise to discover this little gem in Islington.

Pad Thai prawn was nice. The fried rice was tasty but not the pieces of chicken. Chicken didn’t seem fresh and had an after taste so I’ll stick to just prawns next time. The squid was very disappointing and a total waste of money as there were only a few pieces and the rest were onions in a batter disguised as squid.

Proper Thai cuisine, where every dish tastes as it should, very authentic. Great menu selection, soups, curries, noodles, rice, salads etc, all very rich in flavour. Polite staff & good vibes👍

The lemongrass tea was the highlight. Tasteless chicken satay and bland green curry like something from the 80s. Everything was old and reheated. Terrible service and some customer on her phone the whole time as if she was in her lounge room. Give this one a miss! Get a Waitrose takeaway. The quality is better.

This place is very nice to hangout with friends or family. Their garden is peaceful and greenery when it’s summer. Food is amazing. Their staff are friendly. I’ll visit their again!

Ordered from uber eats, sweet and sour chicken is hard does not fresh at all!!! Like its been re heated.. rice is bland I added soy sauce and noodles were okay. But not impressed overall to be honest..

Really decently priced food for where it is! Had the drunken tofu noodles and spring rolls and both were delicious. Was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night but think this is because this place is a hidden gem! Staff were also very accommodating - liked that the bill was already split in 3 for each of our respective orders which made paying so much easier.

Great food. Green thai curry was nice & did have a good little kick to it. Portions weren't huge but I think sticky rice that comes in a bag has a standard size. The mix platter thing for 1person was great, again not huge portion but nice to have a mix and all tasted really nice. Will defo order from here again

Food not worth the 18 pounds I paid. The 13 pound red Thai beef curry was a disappointment 😞. Runny soup and no flavour on beef. For that price I'd also expect slightly bigger portion, although in this case I was kinda glad it wasn't. Will not order here again.

Amazing and authentic Thai food. Being Thai (born and raised), growing up in a long line of great cooks and surrounded by women that are passionate about good traditional authentic taste, I am always very skeptical eating out in Thai restaurants, as they all failed to impress me. Having lived in UK for 26yrs, Paris for 14yrs and traveling around Europe and Asia, this restaurant cooked the best Som Tum salad (better than in Thailand!) Other foods also tasted authentic and some of them took me back to my childhood. Having tried all the Thai restaurants that the Thais recommended, I can said that this is the best Thai restaurant in London! Highly recommended! ***

Ordered off Uber eats. We got drunken noodles, tempura prawns, dimsums, sticky rice and panang curry. Curry and prawns were incredibly delicious, noodles were really good but the vegetables seemed a bit uncooked (they were very hard). Would definitely recommend!

Went with my friend. I ordered panang chicken curry and coconut rice. The curry portion was perfect but had to order another coconut rice as the portion is so small and I wasn’t even hungry. For me, bit pricey for Thai as where I live Thai food is much cheaper and the portion sizes of ALL the dishes is good.

Have been ordering from here for years but the last few times now I have been really disappointed with the food. Chicken in the curry taste like it’s been boiled, noodle portion seems to be smaller.

Ordered a takeout as I had been to the restaurant for lunch the previous week. Very very disappointing. Ordered Duck spring rolls, couldn’t taste or see the duck what so ever. The chicken wings tasted bland, as for the Kom Pad Pla Khem, so completely different to what I had in the restaurant. Won’t be ordering takeout again.

Ordered Yellow curry & Lamb Yang. The curry liquid tasted nice but it was watery thin. The chicken in it was hard and rubbery, you could tell it was pre-cooked at least a day before and added to the curry later. The chicken definitely wasn't fresh and was very difficult to chew . The Lamb Yang meat was also hard and rubbery. All in all very disappointing and a waste of money.

The starters (chicken wings & prawns) were oily and flavourless. The pad Thai was bland and didn’t have lime in/with it. The massaman curry was nice.

This is our go to Thai takeaway on deliveroo and Uber eats and it doesn’t fail to impress. The food is delicious! Looking forward to dining in soon!

Ordered from here tonight after almost five years of walking past the place a few times a week. I had the prawn green curry with steamed rice and it was perfect. Lots of tasty veg and plump fresh prawns 👌🏼 I will definitely go back soon.

A hidden gem in Highbury... wonderful outdoor space to enjoy a very YUMMY dinner ... Thai fish cakes and duck spring roles were light and tasty. Prawn yellow curry and Lamb Massaman curry were both delicious and flavoursome. Service was great and staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

Heads up the 'Duck Spring Rolls' for £6.95 is literally 2 small spring rolls cut in half. They excused the price because they're apparently hand made and somehow worth £3.50 EACH? TRULY INSANE. Shame because the Pad Thai and Boba aren't bad. But I frankly feel ripped off.

Bland spring rolls, tasteless and overly battered/greasy salt and pepper tofu and a foul tasting red curry that I had to throw away. The coconut rice was fine. Ordered via deliveroo due to good rating. Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend. Very disappointing.

I'm Yummy has so many delicious options! I've gotten a different meal each time and all have been great. Plus it's affordable and usually ready for pick up in just 5 or 10 minutes.

Great local Thai spot - all freshly cooked, authentic food, with a secret garden at the back with water feature and great flowers and greenery. We went for the Thai fish cakes, sweet corn fritters, and vegetable spring roles to start, the Prawn Pad Thai and Tofu Drunken Noodles for the main, and the deep fried banana and coconut ice cream to finish. Everything was delicious. All that food for under £25/head. You can’t really go wrong for a quick evening meal.
