Absolutely delicious! Amazing customer service, lady was very kind at the counter. I haven't ate meat in over 2 years and it tastes exactly how I remember! Could not recommend more if you're vegan/vegetarian, or even if you just want to try something different.

Best vegetarian and vegan chippy around, and at such affordable prices too! I took my cousin here the other week who normally eats meat, and doesn't really 'like' meat substitutes etc. well she was converted after yummy greens! Plus they always give you a positive little fortune cookie for however many people you've ordered food for which, I think is a lovely touch.

So sooo good!! I love that we have these independent veggie and vegan places around Liverpool, unlike a lot of other takeout places, there's a huge range of things for vegetarians/vegans to choose from! It's also great for non veggies too (like my mum who ate with me). Super affordable and absolutely delicious! 💖

Really delicious food. You don't need meat when the food tastes this good. You don't have to be veggie or vegan to enjoy it. Fast service. Friendly staff.

Amazing food and great service. I had chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce and it was so flavourful. Could not tell it was not chicken. Quick service and lovely staff too

This place really is a Liverpudlian gem. Excellent service, excellent food. When I came to collect I was asked if it was my first time and given fortune cookies and a free drink! The food is superb. I still eat meat and my partner doesn’t, but for a vegan/vegetarian place, it may well be my favourite Chinese spot. We got takeaway, but tried everything in the car. We got prawn toast, salt and pepper tofu, beansprout noodles, crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken, char sui fried rice and a pot of satay sauce. The prawn toast wasn't as crispy as it could have been, but likely because we picked up about 15 minutes later than expected and the condensation got to it. Same for the tofu when we got home, but in the car it was Divine! The char sui fried rice was the best 5 spice pork alternative I have ever had. The noodles were lovely, the sauces from the fake meat dishes were some of the best we've tried, but as a couple we don't tend to enjoy the fake meats themselves as much and so weren't as starstruck as other reviewers, but they were great alternatives for those who do! Couldn't really ask for more! The satay sauce was a little salty, probably from the soy sauce and works better with a sweet and sour aside, but I still loved it. All in all, the best vegan/vegetarian in the North West, in my opinion 🤗

Absolutely the best Vegetarian and Vegan Chinese Takeaway there is. Food is always delicious and to a high standard. We don’t live locally but wished we lived closer but the travel is well worth it.

We’ve ordered twice here now and loved it both times. The crispy chilli beef, duck pancakes and tofu black bean sauce are our go tos! Lovely service too

Cannot recommend this place enough. Food is phenomenonal, and I love the owner! I tricked my partner who will only entertain meat with food from here (he had the sweet and sour chicken) devoured it, and was completely shocked when I told him it wasn't meat! 100% recommend

I can Honestly say I had the best Chinese takeaway ever. The crispy chili beef (vegan that is) was amazing you couldn't tell it wasn't meat. The crispy duck and pancakes was also delicious. My go to place for takeaways now

Food is amazing!! If you’re vegetarian or vegan a love Chinese food this is the place to go!! Only downside is no home delivery and not on Deliveroo or just eat. Other than that can’t recommend highly enough

Such delicious food absolutely loved my meal. I am not vegetarian or vegan but I was impressed and liked it the same as a regular Chinese. Best vegan Chinese I’ve ever had and amazing chippy food too

Saw the story in the echo this week so took a trip over from Wigan to try your food. My partner turned veggie last year after being very much a meat eater for 40+ years. He said your food almost made him cry, he never thought he would be able to eat food like that when he gave up meat. Seriously impressive. We will be back to stock up soon x

We decided to get a take away from Yummy Green for the first time today. Amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes! Genuinely the best Chinese food we’ve had in ages. We got the sesame prawn toast, crispy chilli beef, veggie curry, and char siu in black bean sauce (as well as some sides). All fresh, delicious and generous portions. This place is an absolute gem! ❤️ 🌱 It will be our regular take away from now on!

This is a delicious chippy that has an amazing vegan selection. I love that there's a wide variety of meals to choose from, and the owners are really lovely people. I recommend trying this out! The meal in my picture is Char Sui satay Chips Prawn toast with a dip This did two meals so it's great value for money too.

This is the real deal! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted - Light, not greasy or over-sticky. Great flavours, proper scouse-chippy portions and genuinely wouldn’t know it wasn’t meat.

This was the best Chinese takeaway! And it's even better because it's accessible for me and my husband as we are both vegan! We ordered so much food and it was delicious. This chippy is incredible. Me & my partner are plant-based and this place hits the mark. They even have a substitute chicken & sweet corn soup that tastes just like the non-substitute version. The salt & pepper fish sub is the star of the show for me! We've had more than 15 items on the menu so far and they're all very high quality, this business is just like authentic takeaway. Great job!!

WOW! I've been vegan for almost 5 years now and finally I can enjoy a Chinese again!!! Food all tasted lovely and fresh not greasy re-heated rubbish you get at alot of Chinese places! This place is a must 10/10 me and my boyfriend can't wait to go again. Yummy

Absolutely need to check this place out. Best vegan/vegetarian Chinese ive ever eaten, and as a former meat eater I don't crave meat at all. Much better cooking than Wu Tan Scran and I will choose this place time and time again! So underrated, the food is always freshly cooked. I tend to get a sweet and sour dish, have had both the 'fish and chicken' options as well as black bean, satay and salt and pepper- all delicious!

We ordered crispy chilli beef, szechuan char siu, sweet and sour chicken balls, tofu black bean sauce and salt/chili pepper chips. I was skeptical at first, since I came in here not realising it was a veggy gaff. However, I was hungry and really quite drunk by this point. I got their veggy chicken curry with egg fried rice for £9.50. I also felt like getting a Domino's from across the road but the lady explained that it will be fine re-heated the next day. Anyway, this is one of the best curries I've ever had. it's the perfect balance of heat and sweetness, with a texture that tells you it's clearly made with quality ingredients. Further, the soy-based chicken really does feel like chicken. You really feel like you've at a quality meal when you're finished with this one. I'm not convinced about the scientific data behind veganism yet but I still fully support this new takeaway. 保佑 🙏🏻

So glad to have found a veggie-friendly Chinese relatively near us (we’re in West Derby)! We’re a family of vegans and veggies and were blown away by the selection here - it’s got all the normal take-away options, but veggie/vegan. The food was delightful - it is tastier and healthier than other take-always! And very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
