Yum Bar & Restaurant in Belfast

Came to yum restaurant with my partner and child on arrival we were greated with lovely kind staff and shown are seat with given menus the food was outstanding and the service was 10/10 with staff always around making sure food was ok and if we needed anything else we felt welcomed and really enjoyed our visit to yum restaurant the food was amazing fatherblade beef just melted in the mouth and even the Childrens goujons were amazing and to top it off the chocolate fudge cake was the the nicest ive ever had thanks very much Nicola and shona for the service we will be back and highly recommend to others

I have visited Yum multiple times and each time I have had a great meal. The menu is a crowd pleaser. My dad said that the fish and chips were the best he’s had in a long time. Great service and food!

Had a delightful dinner there last night. Food was wonderfully delicious. Shared pork belly and also chicken tempura starters. Both "yummy"! For mains we tried a pork dish, a chicken dish and a beef dish....all so good we couldn't choose a favourite. But the best part was the wee girl who helped us. Her name was Meghan. She was perfectly sweet and charming. Made our evening as good as can be. Thank you!

First time eating here and it did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly & pleasant and the food was great . I had The satay chicken and my wife had turkey and stuffing and it was delicious can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try here and Will definitely be back.

Easter Monday our meals were perfect I jus want say the the chicken stack been nicest I've had cocktails delicious the staff are so friendly can't wait till next visit 😋

We’ve ate in this restaurant many times and it honestly never disappoints us! Food is absolutely gorgeous and the friendly staff makes it a very welcoming environment. Will be dining in this restaurant for years to come.

Hearty meals with proper portion sizes – you won’t leave hungry. Staff were absolutely lovely. Great spot all round.

Soft drinks very poor should have cans of bottles to table not from value bottles. Food was nice but could be freshly cooked chips ect. 🍟

Didn't give me beef. and made us wait outside for half an hour. and they ran out of ice cream. and gave the other table the last beef. and the last ice cream. 10 year honest review.

We had a lovely experience at Yum yesterday. Without reservation we got a table for four spontaneously for an hour even though the place was fully booked. They offer an entire vegetarian menu and our food (highly recommend the bean burger) was delightful, fresh, tasty and perfect serving size. The atmosphere is comfortable and modern, service quick and friendly and prices are totally reasonable. Great experience!

Visited Belfast for my birthday, booked online had had some really nice cocktails and amazing food with great service would recommend to anyone of they are visiting, will definitely come back next time I am here

Yum lives up to its name! The tempura chicken starter was light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, paired with a delicious dipping sauce. The burger main was equally impressive—juicy, flavorful, and well-constructed with fresh toppings. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff rounded out a fantastic dining experience. I can’t wait to go back! Waitresses we're absolutely an absolute joy!

Wow! The food was great, I love a blue steak and it was cooked to perfection. Service was great too. Definitely will be back even if it's an hours drive away.

Tried yum on Friday for first time with family all six of us loved our dinner, desserts and the tipsy teapot cocktail is delicious. Staff were so lovely and always checking everything was good and really lovely intimate atmosphere will definitely be returning soon

A little far from the city center, but it was well worth the short drive. Asian fusion dishes done well.

We always have a good meal here. Tried the Pina Colada and it was the nicest I've tasted! Lasagne is amazing. Chicken wings are perfecto Skinny chips have changed recently ( I liked the previous ones better) Liz is an amazing host! Atmosphere marked down slightly as I feel like I'm sliding off the seats. Like they slope downwards? (Maybe my bum is too big lol)

A superb lunch on our first-ever visit to Yum, on holiday from Devon. Booked it due to their leading TripAdvisor rating and not at all disappointed. Delicious main courses and then home-made cheesecake, good service, and excellent value for money into the bargain.

Lovely local family run businesses are very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food is absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely catch up dinner with friends last night. Food and drinks were delicious and service excellent.

Food is OK wouldn't say it's amazing . We got a few dishes and they were all pretty bland. No chips with £13 burger . Asked the already unpleasant member of staff about it and no apologie and just said she would take another side ordered of the bill. The service was absolutely horrific from we set foot in the place. Will definitely never return , mostly due to the waitress and her unpleasantness

We called to Yum last week We were promptly shown to our window table who provided excellent service throughout I opted for the fish and chips It was lovely nice light batter and lovely cod the mushy peas and tartar sauce enhanced the taste My wife had the Lasagne which she really enjoyed it also came with chunky chips . Had a good chat with Tommy the chef who recommended returning for the Sirloin Steak and all the trimmings might just take him up on this Would highly recommend Yum good value for money Overall a very pleasant dinning experience Regards Peter and Sandra

Food is lovely and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Try the chicken satay, or the chicken tempura with special yum yum sauce, delicious. The chilli beef with garlic noodles is gorgeous too.

We had a lovely dinner on Saturday evening before heading into town. The presentation of the food was excellent and it tasted even better. The cocktail my wife had was beautifully presented and was very tasty. A special mention for the staff, who are friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back as promised.

Food was so good. Beef noodles was lovely, and mushrooms were delicious. Vegetarian pasta was extremely tasty, have gone back already. Only one issue recommend it to my whole family so going back with a few newborns in prams was abit small.

Hi had a meal here tonight courtesy of our daughters upon arrival restaurant was not busy got seated straight away lovely girl served us starter was amazing I had pork belly cubes flavour was exceptionally good hubby had fish cakes a d was delighted we both had terrakia beef noodles omg to die for finished off with raspberry ruffle cheesecake lovely relaxed atmosphere from start to finish in heart of andersonstown yum you deserve great things

This was the absolute highlight of my time in Belfast. The host and the owner were both lovely and hospitable and gave us great tips about Belfast that we used for the rest of our trip! I have made my next reservation already- they are the reason I’ll be returning to belfast!!

I'm coeliac (gluten free) and the food was absolutely delicious. Decent choice of mains and starters that are very similar to the standard menu, and they're actively working on expanding their dessert options.

Had a beautiful lunch I opted for the hot buffalo wings for starter which was a fantastic portion that got me excited for my main course which was lasagne accompanied by garlic cubes and it didn't disappoint, totally delicious and I definitely will be back, great pricing also.

Always delicious and Liz(waitress) delivers first class service as does the chefs. Lovely cozy environment, scrum!!

Got served on a walk in today just before dinner time, no booking and immediately seated. Staff were very warm, accommodating and friendly. Was only supposed to be going out for a salad but me and my boyfriend ended up sitting for a 3 course meal in here. (Good traditional menu).Chicken tempura and bbq wings for starters were delicious and definitely recommend the tempura. Very flavourful, nice sauces and rocket. Boyfriend licked his sticky toffee pudding plate clean. Very reasonably priced, two soft drinks and 3 courses for just shy of £60. I liked the interior aesthetic and the intimate snugged ness of the floor plan. You can see the chef cooking in the kitchen with flames going, nice ambience. Food was served incredibly fast. Unfortunately I think not accepting cards is a bit silly. I do agree cash is definitely best, its a bit inconvenient for customers. Thankfully my boyfriend brought cash as I only had my phone thinking i could use apple pay. Would have had to embarrassedly get up and leave the restaurant otherwise as weren’t told no cards until after already being seated. Thanks for the great feed.

Nice place for fastish food. Very clean. Very tidy. Very busy. Obviously a local favourite. A lot of hard surfaces so psychologically encourages to eat and leave. Everything well prepared and well presented. Prices were quite reasonable and pretty much a 'good pub' menu.

The wife and I where lucky to get in as we left it late to book, but we wer squeezed in as it was very busy. The ambience in this place is up there with the best wev had. We went for the chilli beef noodles and the daube of beef followed by the creme brulee and sticky toffee pudding washed down with 2 of the signature cocktails, the drunk duck and the raspberry bramble which I highly recommend. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem and cannot wait until we are back. Thank you Yum

7 girls out for a meal on Saturday evening. 6 had steak 1 had lasagne. Every plate went back cleared. The food was delicious as were the desserts. Service excellent we will be back soon.

My favourite place to eat. Food is 12/10 and service is just as good. That’s not to mention the cocktails, which are incredible also!! If your reading make it somewhere you go for a meal it won’t let you down. Top notch
