Yum in Belfast

This restaurant is a favourite of the family member who organised this dinner, and I can see why! The service was friendly, setting trendy and food delicious. It was also very relaxed, perfect for dining with baby and little man. We had two courses and there were clean plates all round, including the little man’s - he even said it was “the best dinner [he had] ever had”! Would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

When we got to Yum the servers were very polite and attentive. The problem was the food. The chips were raw and the main meals had been reheated in a microwave so hot my wife burnt her lip.

Went to yum with my girlfriend last week food was absolutely out of this world. The belly bites were unreal so full of flavour, perfectly paired with the chive dip, couldn’t say anything bad about the food. The cocktails were amazing, so delicious and unique especially the drunk duck. Overall yum is a beautiful spot to go for some dinner and drinks, the interior of the restaurant is amazing and very easy on the eyes. The staff are also amazing, extremely friendly and 10/10 service. I will defiantly be back.

Wow! What an absolutely scrumptious meal. It is the best food at a very reasonable price and the staff are wonderful too. The blonde lady who brought us our meal was very friendly and funny which made for a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.

Friday evening booking at Yum for 6:30, left at 9pm, 3 amazing course, 1 bottle of white wine and a French Martini/Cloud 9 later. Attention to detail in presentation and excellent execution. Value for money was also very good, two courses for £18.95. My only gripe was I would prefer a good glass of wine rather than the mini bottles.

We ate here before going to the Lyric. Very handy an they do a pre- theatre meal. We only went for one course to make sure we were on time. Three of us had boxty - two with seafood and one with meat. Although it was quite tasty I would really have called it a crepe. Seafood nice but limited variety. Friendly service.

My wife and I have eaten a couple of times in this restaurant in recent weeks, and have always been very pleased with our meals and with the service and ambiance. We have tried several of their dishes and have never been disappointed. Service is swift and very pleasant. This means it is very suitable for a pre-theatre meal before going to the Lyric, or a meal after a visit to the Queen’s Film Theatre. I can recommended Yum, maybe not if you want to spend a whole evening eating, but certainly for a good meal in a relatively short time period.

Yo y 2 hermanas salimos a comer algo a mitad de semana y nos pusimos al día. La comida era tan buena como siempre. Hemos comido aquí y el restaurante lisburn road (ahora cerrado) en muchas ocasiones. came for lunch with a friend and enjoyed the whole experience. Firstly the 2 course deal is brilliant value for money considering the top quality food. I had the chicken tempura starter which was delicious, followed by the pie with creamy mash and a handful of veg. Had a very full belly afterwards! Good portion sizes and lovely attentive staff.
