Santeria in Belfast

Been here for drinks a couple times now. Had a nice variety of cocktails so that was a big plus in my eyes. Has a fair bit of seating in and outside so you shouldn't have any difficulty finding a seat.

Nice place to drink and relax with cool music. Very great host of both local and foreigners. Right behind Primark and walk down to the city hall, that means you are right in the heart of Belfast.

The custom cocktails form Conan were excellent. Amazing vibe and amazing service. I can’t help but recommend here.

Notablemente, el bar también estaba repugnantemente cubierto de derrames y trozos desechados de fruta cortada, y no vi a una sola persona limpiarlo en toda la noche. Me gusta mucho este lugar, pero se está deslizando hacia abajo en las filas con este tipo de limpieza y personal hostil.

Called in on Xmas eve after work! Staff were great both cocktails I had were great. I walked my friend to the bus as I didn’t want her standing on her own. When I arrived back I was refused entry by an American possibly Canadian door man. No real reason given other than I’d had to much to drink! Yes, the 2 cocktails I bought in the establishment! I’ve been coming here since the bar opened and it’s sister bar voodoo for many years. I would understand if I was legless falling all over the place but I had 2 drinks from your bar! Great bar and I know some of the staff that work there. Always had a great experience other than last night. This door man was on some type of power trip.It’s a shame because the bar, drinks and staff and both cocktails.Were great Just ruined by this bouncer. Maybe he didn’t make it into the WWE or the Army but that’s not my fault. I just wanted one more cocktail on Xmas eve.

Feliz de tomar dinero de mí cuando estaba comprando cócteles. Pero después de acompañar a mi amigo a la parada de autobús regresé y me negaron la entrada. Boucher aparentemente solo estaba haciendo su trabajo, pero me negó la entrada después de beber dos cócteles en su bar en Nochebuena. Soy habitual tanto en orisha como en vudú. Traté de hablar con el portero razonablemente, pero después de ser habitual durante años sintió que esto era injusto. ¿Por qué me dejas gastar mi dinero si vas a negarme la entrada después de 2 copas? El portero canadiense no pudo explicar por qué no se me permitió la entrada y le dijo al otro portero que me negara la entrada desde el vudú. Bueno, después de ser un cliente habitual desde que el bar abrió originalmente, siento que esto fue solo el portero en un viaje de ego. Lástima que me gustaban tanto estos bares como la calle. Supongo que iré a otro lugar donde me reciban. Incluso conociendo a la familia propietaria del bar que saben qué tipo de persona soy. Nunca he causado problemas en ninguno de los bares, pero ahora no me siento bienvenido. Prefería a los viejos porteros que me conocían y no me habrían tratado así. Lo siento chicos, pero no es necesario. 2 cócteles en su bar y luego se le negó la entrada. ¡Vamos! ¿En serio? Espero que puedas hablar con los dos porteros que estaban trabajando en Nochebuena.

Pequeño pero perfecto, este lugar es una joya. Los chicos hacen los mejores cócteles en Belfast. Martini sucio, frambuesa inquieta y Bloody Hell Mary son realmente buenos. No puedo esperar para volver pronto

Staff are absolutely incredible at making cocktails I was blown away, great atmosphere too and loved all the drinks.

This is a super bar with some of the best staff and cocktails in Belfast, always a great welcome and atmosphere, my husband and I have visited several times, however, it all changed this afternoon...we arrived and had a great welcome from the bar staff,some who knew us, it was my husbands birthday and they gave us a free shot to celebrate..a few drinks in and suddenly we were refused drinks...no explanation as to why...a very, very rude doorman, typical up his own bottom type , yes, we have all witnessed them over the years, maybe refused a job in the police, said we were drunk...HELLLOOOO we are 58 and 57, hardly drunkards , the bar staff were apologetic and we moved on to another establishment we know well, , who were very happy to welcome us...Will not set foot in Orisha again

A nice bar with indoor and outdoor options. Cocktails are reasonably priced and beers start at GBP4.20 for the lower limit. The staff is friendly. There’s an upscale bar, Voodoo, upstairs to provide more entertainment options.

This has to be my favourite bar in Belfast. Such a great spot with fantastic service and drinks. Very friendly and welcoming. The mojitos are the best I've had outside of Havana.

Lovely bartenders, very quick service and great tasting drinks. Most cocktail bars you go to once you order at the bar would tell you to take a seat and they’ll be brought over after you’ve ordered - waiting didn’t bother me at all and the drinks were made very quickly and tasted great! However, if you’re gonna have customers wait at the bar, maybe advise the bar back not to tell jokes like ‘what’s the difference between a 7 year old and a pr0stitut3’ just gross and really brings the vibe down when waiting for a nice drink!

In for a drink on a night out and ended up staying for a few. Pleasant bar staff, eclectic mix of people that were there and a happy vibe in the bar. A little small so get there early if you want a table.

Love this place. Its my go to cocktail house. The staff are always helpful even in creating some random requests. Couldn't fault the place.

I didn't get much this place, mostly if I need to order at a bar, of if I should wait for someone to come to the table. When I was at the place with my boyfriend, information about waiting was not mentioned anywhere, or at least we didn't see it written anywhere. We waited about 30 minutes at the table, then we went to ask to the bar and made the order there. We learned that it's one of those places where you need to order at the bar. And since it was not written anywhere, I don't know if it's a general concept in Dublin or in bars in the country, or if it's just here. Or maybe here after some hour, I really don't know. Another thing were meals. There was a menu written at a board outside, so we thought we could order something. But when we got to that, we were informed that the kitchen had closed few minutes ago, the place is serving just nuts and similar snacks, and someone from the staff needs to hide that menu border. In the end, we had some drinks and went for dinner somewhere else. The drink were good and I liked that the place has some significant cocktails to try. Since there is ordering at the bar, you need to pay after every single order. The place becomes very crowded and noisy in the evening so it's hard to hear anyone or anything besides loud music and general noise of people talking. This is general Irish pub thing. If I ever personally went back to the place to hangout and talk to someone, I would visit it during a day.

Place itself is lovey and well kept, sick music and the staff really care about their work. A fella called Xander made myself and fiancé some whiskey sours and they were incredible. Tasted great and he took the time to make them look great

We visited this cocktail bar after dinner. There was a good range of cocktails, but we opted for a bottle of the House red wine which was good quality and great value at £18. It is bar service. There was a good atmosphere. It made a very pleasant end to the evening.

Last weekend I was in Santeria for the first time. It was fantastic!!. I'm from Belfast and I've heard through the grapevine it was some of the best cocktails in Belfast! So, I had to check it out. I arrived down and the buzz was incredible. The Staff was super welcoming, the music was on point! ( Some old-school weapons, Right up my street) but little did I know they had food which I also had to check out! So I ordered their own cocktail "The Santeria" and some of their wings! Oh, my word it didn't disappoint. It was exactly what I was after for a Saturday afternoon, It was impeccable. The wings were proper wings, Juicy and falling straight off the bone + a very tasty cocktail to wash it down. The best thing was, In the City Centre you would pay double what I paid. I joked with the staff (Fantastic btw, a bunch of legends who were so accommodating and were often bantering with all the customers) that they should up the price! Overall, I had a huge smile walking out after a couple more pints for the rest of my night out! But, I've got to say the highlight was the afternoon at Santeria! Was in last weekend and the atmosphere was 10/10. Had a few cocktails which were all great (especially the bramble 🤌🏻) Definitely be back!

I’ve been here a few times and it was great so recommended to my friends. Arrived and waited a while which is absolutely fine then there was a fight at the door which then one of the persons came inside and behind the bar, obviously works there and the staff left the bar to attend to this drunken man who had just been attacking someone. A “security man” then arrived and knew the individual by name and proceeded to speak to the man in the kitchen. Never seen anything like it, had to leave as I felt embarrassed for the staff who seemed to be abbreviated themselves. 100% will never be back. Made me feel so uncomfortable.

Took nearly 40mins to get our first cocktails (because girl decided to make other tables 4 drinks the same time and bring all together...) so service could be definitely improved. On bright side second one was made really quickly by the guy and both times cocktails were really nice. Had guys playing jazz so it was lovely Sunday afternoon while it was raining outside.

Called in on a Saturday afternoon and was tempted by the menu, small plates of delicious food, had the corn on the cob, amazing dressing, steak to die for, haloumi, tacos, all Amazing, great vibe and great cocktails, definitely hidden gem👌

We visited around 2pm Saturday, was very quiet when we arrived - got busier as we got there. Ordered food and drink quite quickly but unfortunately our order was not put in to the kitchen. We checked in after 45 mins and they were very apologetic. Food was definitely worth the wait though! We shared the meatballs, potatoes and cold meats. Perfect amount for a light bite lunch. Loved the decor, music and atmosphere and despite the wait would recommend and would visit again.

Wow, what a little gem. Called in for a couple of drinks before dinner reservations elsewhere and just loved the vibe of this city centre bar. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable of their great drinks menu and happy to offer recommendations. Our waitress went out of her way for us a few times and we really appreciated it. Unfortunately we didn't try the food but next time I'm in the city I will.

Was in Belfast for a few nights with family and we ended up going to Santeria several times. The atmosphere is fab. There is a great buzz in the whole street here. The service is impeccable. So quick, and the waitress has an incredible memory....

Theres a nice atmosphere and excellent cocktails, the curly haired barman was full of knowledge and bits of chat. Theres always stuff happening outside too so it's a good spot for people watching in comfort, great spot.

An absolute hidden gem in Belfast. Nestled between the Fountain and Voodoo in Fountain St, Santeria is a must-visit location. Personally, I prefer to sit outside as there is so much hustle and bustle with the nearby bars and overall the athmosphere in the area...
