We went during happy hour to take advantage of the cocktail deals and they did not disappoint. We didn’t have too long as we had a flight in a few hours but our waiter was very attentive and prompt when bringing our drinks, they very nice chap even wished us a safe and well flight. The toilets are waaaay to far but the kids made the most of it by making silly videos on the stairs which added to our positive experience

Had a booked table, on entry fella on counter never made eye contact or a hello. Stood waiting 1st in line for several minutes. Eventuallh shown then to a table with missing cutlery & not enough napkins. Waited 15 minutes with no one coming to take a drinks order or food order. Staff walked by but couldnt get their attention as too busy walkong around with nothing or serving drinks. We got up and walked out. Last time will visit as the prior time had to go find someone to pay after getiing the bill 25 minutes. Lesson learned wont be back. Only was going as forced by others to go as food/service prior very low standard fo what you're paying.

lovely restaurant and great food, amazing cocktails and great deals but the service is slow, unhelpful and make the experience difficult and confusing especially if you dont have a booking. we were sat at a table and no one took our order, we were asked to order online when I asked the host but there is no table number on most tables and when we were told the number by the unsure host, the deals weren't applied online even though we were assured they were. so we asked again how to order and we were finally told you can order food at the bar. Just no need for the confusion as the host or waiter could take 2 minutes to explain how ordering works. The music also doesn't fit the atmosphere but that comes down to opinion.

Service is basically non existent, have to scan a QR code to order but neither the WiFi or reception works. Half the tables don't have numbers on them making it even harder to order. Not one waiter came up to us at any stage apart from when they dropped the food down. The veggie chicken burger was an excuse for a burger, you'd get better in a prison. Didn't even finish my food as I couldn't wait to get out, shockingly bad place.

This place is going down the drain.I don't think they care about their customers. It's overly priced, it takes ages to be served, the service is minimal, the place is filthy, the only efficient one is the glass collector. Be aware that your drink might disappear before it's finished. Food is average and not Cuban at all. A pity as the venue is great and beautiful.

This is the worst service I have ever had in my life, and I once attended a bar run by snails. That’s not true but the following is: it took us AN HOUR to get our drinks, and they were severely watered down. We pre-booked and still our table wasn’t available when we arrived. We stood at the bar as there was no table service, but had to order from the bar, so my husband and I barely saw each other all night lol. Like literally we spent more time taking turns waiting for drinks than we did with each other. This place has really gone to the dogs in the last few years! Never again! Do NOT get the prepaid drinks deal. It is not worth it, again, because they water down drinks and they definitely are not made the way they look like they're made based on the menu...they're all premixed at best. Never again! Such a shame about this place.

Went with my friends yesterday (23/12/24) for the bottomless brunch and we were extremely disappointed. It took 45 minutes to get our first drink (mimosa) and an hour for the starter to come (which was pretty much a bag of nachos shared between 3 people) as opposed to our own individual starter. It took even longer for our main to come and they had a rule where your glass had to be half empty to order another drink, so my husband took all of the ice out of his glass which depleted the volume by half so he could order another drink. The drinks didn’t taste nice and the food was average. The was a lovely waiter who constantly apologised on behalf of the restaurant and he was the only reason we stayed. We were very close to walking out before our mains even arrived because it took nearly an hour and a half to come. Would not recommend bottomless brunch at this place.

Fantastic evening drinking cocktails and a live show

Me and friends went here for bottomless brunch and were served by one of the waiters called Arianna. She was very approachable and made sure we felt comfortable and everything was up to standard. Arianna served us with a smile we really enjoyed having her as are waiter she made the experience more enjoyable.

This place is a whole vibe! Definitely reminded me of Miami. The food was deliciouse. The drinks were delicious and strong. The wait staff was so friendly and really took care of us. I went on my last night in Belfast and wished I had gone earlier in the week so I could go back!

Had a work Christmas party on one of their Festive packages. Our party were given banquettes at the back. Food was buffet-style and couldn't say it was Cuban influenced at all - Turkey sliders, Caesar salad, fried chicken, chicken in ginger beer. It was fine but not really what was expected. Place was extremely busy and took a long time getting served at the bar. Their cocktail selection is good and enjoyed their Margaritas. Place was unbelievably warm - no air-conditioning it seems despite the overhead fans. Some good live music.

Food was very tasty and a great atmosphere. I will return next time I'm in Belfast.

We tried to reserve a table for Saturday night, but the place was fully booked so we visited yesterday at lunch time instead. From reading the menu the food sounded nice and we were really looking forward to our visit. First impressions were the building and interior looks cool. Unfortunately, this is where the praise ends. When we walked in we were greeted by a very strong smell of disinfectant, as if the place had been doused in it. This should have been our first clue that this was not going to be the type of experience we anticipated. I ordered the Ginger Beer Chicken Tacos, Beef Nachos, Jamon Croquettes and Chimichurri Corn. The food was reasonably priced but average at best. The Beef Nachos were lukewarm on arrival. The ‘ginger beer chicken’ was nothing more than boiled and shredded, dry chicken in a soft taco with some pickled onion on top – I don’t know where the ‘ginger beer’ element comes into this as there was no seasoning on the chicken. I queried if I was missing the jerk gravy and was told this only comes with the beef tacos. I asked if I could have some anyway. It took 15 minutes and 2 queries for the small dish with sauce to arrive. By then my partner had finished their food and my chicken tacos were cold. The food aside, our server was unwell, coughing and sniffing while standing at our table and serving our food. I went to the women’s toilet before we left. Again, there was a very strong smell of disinfectant, the stairs were sticky all the way up. The first cubicle had no lock on the door and no toilet seat. In the second cubicle the toilet seat was on the floor beside the toilet bowl. I’m so glad that we had not managed to get an evening booking and based our night around this place, as the whole experience was a let-down, and in general felt grubby.

Drinks good food was very poor.

Place was cold and not many there. All our food came cold and we had to send it back and have it redone. They did gave us a bottle of prosecco by way of apology but this is about the third time over a few year cwe have had to return cold food.

Good atmosphere, music and building, like something from the great Gaysby ... one think bothered me and it's not really the fault of the bar, but so many people ordering endless cocktails and all 4 bar staff spending so much time on cocktails it's always a long wait for a drink , but this could of been a cocktail promotion ... And also the only toilets for men was on the 3rd floor

Booked the bottomless brunch. Portions of food were dire . Drinks were awful . We were actually served a glass of ice at one stage. Service was really slow and it wasn't overly busy. When we placed our last order they told us we wouldn't have time to drink it so offered us shots instead. Definitely not worth the money and they push you to upgrade the moment you sit down. Wouldn't go back .

Music, good vibes, delicious cocktails, staff is very efficient, artistic, enthusiastic and dynamic. Saturdays have free salsa classes and a much more mature environment than other places in Belfast. Defo, I only go from Dublin to Belfast for this place, becoming one of my faves💗

Far too loud the waitress couldn’t hear what we wanted to order food wise then at that stage it came out wrong, and cold and a chipped bowl, plus at the time off booking we should have been advised that the place was cashless only as a party of people who didn’t know and we all had cash plus we were paying for one of our friends, totally disgraceful in this day and age , which means every time you wanted a drink you were using your card constantly which in my book you could charge customers what ever you wanted especially if people got a bit tipsy plus the food isn’t that great

The best service from Conal Smyth. Would recommend rev de Cuba for just his service. He was an exemplary waiter and made sure we had a great time with constant drinks. If you need a 21st celebration or any other birthday come rev de Cuba Belfast and ask for him.

Never again, spent nearly £200 on dinner and drinks, you moved us from our original table when the band set up and then told us that our new table was booked. Nowhere else to go but stand at the bar. Very shoddy and the ‘kill babies’ graffiti in the toilet should have been removed long ago!!

Appalling experience, we spent nearly £200 on dinner and drinks. We then got moved from front of stage when the band were setting up to another table. Twenty minutes later we were told to move because the table was booked leaving us nowhere to go but to stand at the car. Sorry we paid your 10% tip now, totally disgusted! Plus the graffiti in the male toilets referring to killing babies is incredibly obscene.

We had a wonderful evening last night at Revolución de Cuba Belfast. Hit on a lovely group at the cocktail making class and the mixologist had his act together. Full mark's indeed. The food was very tasty and the group couldn't have been friendlier. The background piped music was a little loud but the live music was spot-on. Highly recommended.

Cuba in Ireland! The place itself is beautiful, I'm not sure what it was previously, maybe a church? We came in on a whim and learned it was happy hour which meant buy one get one free drinks. The drinks were delicious! We opted for tapas which was good and just enough for an afternoon snack. Sitting at the bar, the service was great and they even had live music which was a nice touch.

Me and my work friends went here to celebrate one of us leaving and the staff were so friendly. The bartender Maya was polite and made our drinks very quickly. Very little wait. Would recommend! 👍

Never again it was very poor experience, we were supposed to be 24 , ended with 22 , and still very squeezed in a corner ! I was the team party organiser and I felt ashamed. hardly any food quantity nor quality. no offer to give anything for those 2 who didn’t make it for unforeseen circumstances. poor team communication . Tapas food is something like frozen meals from Ice-land !

First experience of the place, very impressed. Great atmosphere. Great service (Summer). Food was really tasty and drinks flowed. Background music loud enough to enjoy, not so loud to ruin a conversation. Well worth a visit. Great way to spend a few hours late afternoon on a wet Saturday afternoon.

My wife and sun went out for a night out last Saturday as he was over visiting from England decided to call in to Cuba as usual found it hard to find a seat but manège to find 2 stools not long after they arrived the drunken idiot came over and started annoying them abused my wife with filth .when they went to the door staff to complain they done nothing so they left disgusted this bar is definitely going down hill

Went here for tapas and cocktails. The atmosphere here is great, chilled out, relaxed. The service is slow both for drinks and food. My mojito was 75% ice! I sent it back. We ordered 10 plates of tapas for £60.00. Thats sounds a lot initially- imagine a small side plate 50% full. 1 had very 2 small fish wraps as a serving. This place could be so good if the service and food were uprated. We went there peckish and came out hungry!

Arrived yesterday 19//10/2024 very disappointing. Food was below average, my chicken burger was burnt, bap was burnt and the chicken was that tough it wouldn’t even cut with a knife, i could count the chips on the plate there was that little. The table we were put at was not comfortable at all, one chair on the side with no back rest, my brother is 6ft and his back was killing him after 1.5 hours there. music was good, but the man playing trumpet was terrible, to the point he was ruining the dj set, it was loud and we could barely hear eachother at the table. the drinks were poor, absolutely filled with ice, not a great range either to choose from. Can honestly say I won’t be back. Place has gone downhill from last year.

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, the entertainment was incredible, who knew a samba version of a pop song could be so good?! Only downside was one of our group got the wrong food, one got the wrong drink and the birthday girl got the wrong cake, however it was super busy so totally understandable! A great night all in all!

Was on my second visit enjoy the atmosphere however this time had time to relax so ordered a couple of coffee's thought the bill was a lot more than expected paid the bill checked the bill later found they had put on a service charge (left a tip as well ) won't happen again wife said should have gone to specsavers🤓

What’s the point in booking a table for this place ? Few friends and myself show up for a booking and waited at the main entrance for 10 minutes while servers just walked past. Music was unbearably loud, so we all just left and didn’t bother wasting our time and money. It was our first time coming here and definitely our last!

Fab spot, highly recommend for a group booking if you're looking for bottomless brunch and great tunes! Food is fine, service was a little slow to begin with as the place was busy but staff were lovely and made up for the initial wait! Cocktail making was a great addition as well if you're looking for a hen party activity!

Booked a table tonight, showed up and waited for nobody to seat us we then walked around and still nobody showed up and went back to the front counter and again nobody came to greet or help us find our seat we booked. We ended up going somewhere else with much much better service. First time and last time we will go

Food was a big disappointment bones in the chicken enchilada and soggy bottom on the pina colda cheesecake which tastes like a vanilla cheesecake. Had great expectations but was very disappointed especially as we had waited all day for food.

Three ladies from Portrush decided to have a night out in Belfast for a change. Shouldn’t have bothered. This bar was advertised as being open till 1pm, however last orders were called at 11pm! What time is this to close! The evening is only getting started! Obviously Belfast people are lightweights who don’t know how to party! Would have been better staying in Portrush!

I went as a birthday treat with my husband we were booked for brunch at 4.30 we did arrive at 4.35 due to me having broken ankle. we stood waiting an no one approached so we went back out to the door as there was a man out there speaking to a lady an he then helped us an apologised we sat down and the waiters an waitress walked passed us numerous times it was then near 5 pm before our drinks order was taken and then again almost 15 mins after that for our food and our first drink took ages it still hadn't arrived when our food order was being took so the young lady went to find out and they eventually arrived the young fella was very helpful and apologised for how long it was taking out drinks as we waited near 15 mins for them after ordering so he was nice an took our order when we were half way down the drink meaning we were not waiting as long because if he hadn't done that I don't think we would of even got 3 drinks served. the food was beautiful and we definitely will be back for that. I then had booked us a table from 6pm-8pm we explained this to one of the waiters he then came back and said it was no problem we could keep the table we had so we ordered another round of drinks and I went to the loo only to come back to be told we had to move which a little annoying as 20mins before we were told it was ours for the rest of the evening. we then moved to another table about 10 steps from the one we were at which to be fair made no sense as it was the same size table ect but we moved only to be approached again after maybe 15 mins to be told we needed to move again at this point I did politely explain that I would not be moving as that would then be the second time and that we had booked a table from 6-8pm which was explained the first time and we were moved to this table which I assumed was the table that I had booked for that time the young girl left an went to the computer area at the front door and they were looking and speaking she then came back and said it was OK we could sit were we where. this did tarnish our visit a little as I have been to a few bottomless brunch 2 of which have been 3 times s busy and the sped of service was alot better and alot more organised. the staff that we delt with were all lovely and friendly. Also there is a 10% service charge was added to our bill with out us knowing or being explained. I didn't realise until after my husband had paid and I looked at the bill because this was a bottomless brunch I knew what the total bill should of been after the deposit was paid. I don't think this should be added on to a bill with out it being mentioned I understand it does say on the bill but alot of people are embarrassed and would not like to say no and it was only a table of 2 most places only add a service charge when over a table amount of 6 or more

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Burger was a bit to much cooked for my likings, but that's my personal taste.

The only thing I didn't like was they don't accept Cash! That's ridiculous, it shouldn't be allowed.

Went here on a weekday last week, some cocktails are very nice (would recommend the banana hammock and pineapple daiquiri), also do 2 cocktails for £12 when it is happy hour. However, service was extremely slow (nearly waited 40 minutes for just two cocktails when it wasn’t very busy?) Some of the photos were also misleading (cocktails served in a bigger glass on the menu and then you were served a small glass?) Overall I had a very average experience they really need to work on their service. And also wouldn’t want to be paying for cocktails outside of happy hour as they are expensive (some priced at £12 and served in a small glass). Don’t think I will be returning

already ate here once before so returned with my family as it was great ... ordered the same dish's from our previous visit along with a kid's choice , when the food arrived to the table i couldn't believe the portions were half the size for the same price from our last visit ??!! i did e-mail management regarding this as i do believe in 'benefit of the doubt' but of course i have had no reply and so giving this review... i must add also when we entered the premises we were directed to a table by the bar area , we waited on staff to take our order after looking at the Menu but it wasn't until we approached a staff member we were told they do no wait the bar area tables and we have to place our order to the Bar staff....eventually when the food arrived it was barely warm and of course small portions of 'Mediocre' food , a big difference of what we experienced on our previous visit...we paid good money for this experience and simply put we will never return...stick to the easy sell of Cocktails

Have been here a few times and enjoy it each time. The food can be hit or miss sometimes, some dishes are really good and others are just okay but the small plates are really handy for groups sharing. The cocktails are so good and there’s a great variety so you’re bound to find something you like. Would recommend.

If you want music so loud that the serving staff can't hear you to take your order then this is the place for you. The food took the best part of an hour to arrive and was half cold. We had to get the bill recalculated twice before we left. Never again.

I really liked the place, the decoration and the atmosphere. Drinks and service, regular pulling to bad.

Unfortunately the service really lets the venue down. There were 12 of us and when the food arrived late they only served three of us and it took 20 minutes to plate the rest. I'd asked the manager twice about this and each time he said he'd check but never came back to reassure us. The staff were very young and it showed, seriously poor service. It's a shame because Cuba is a great venue with a great atmosphere. Getting parked close is difficult and if you're getting a taxi make sure to book as it's near impossible to flag one down as the night goes on.

Bad experience here. Came with my boyfriend at around 10 we stood at door waited to be seated and then a member of staff seated us. We picked two cocktails and went up to the till to order but then saw a sign saying we had to order on the QR code, they failed to mention that as they seated us. We ordered then waited 15 minutes and got no drink. My partner went up to the bar and said that he ordered a drink on the app to which the barman shockingly responded with “well you’re not going to get it”. My boyfriend asked why and he replied saying the orders had been turned off the and bar was closing. No “I’m really sorry about this” or anything it was all very rude. Don’t know why the staff member didn’t say to us that the bar was closing when he seated us. The barman then gave us the drink as my partner told him that we already payed. When we were having our drinks no one came over asking how we were getting on, and later we saw a couple come up and get drinks straight away (I thought the bar was closing?) when we left eventually the staff member came over to our table immediately when we got up and grabbed our glasses. Didn’t say goodnight or thank you for coming. Staff clearly need to be retrained on how to deal with customers I have never experienced this much negligence before in a bar. Very dissapointed

Absolutely diabolical. Music was far too loud that no one could hear a word anyone was saying. Went for the bottomless brunch. Service was terrible, food was disgusting and the portion sizes were rediculous, cocktails were disgusting, went to the toilet and most of them hadn’t even a toilet seat on them and then to top it all off no toilet roll in any of the cubicles aswell as the place just generally being filthy rotten. Terrible experience.

My family and I eat here relatively often and are used to the lack of service in favour of good food, however, it reached another level on this occasion. Our first order of drinks never came to the table and the second attempt took 20 minutes to appear. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive with one of the guests not receiving any of their 3 dishes for 15 minutes after the rest of the table had been served, with no acknowledgement from any of the serving staff. By this time everyone else at the table had finished eating. Once the food had arrived, the portions were pathetic in comparison to the usual serving sizes, leaving the table still hungry after such a long wait. Upon receiving the bill, our initial order of missing drinks were listed, despite having never appeared.

Lived in Miami for 22 years....married to a Cuban....this place is horrible....really bad....was excited to see this but the food here DOES NOT RESEMBLE ANYTHING LIKE REAL CUBAN FOOD. AVOID THIS PLACE....NOTHUNG AUTHENTIC HERE

Black bean burger: just a slice of pickled cucumber on it. No mayo as described in card. Chicken breast burger: was okay Comfortable seats, good selection, nice service, easy to reach, centrally located.

Great little restaurant in a small street, very pleasant atmosphere and service and the dishes we ate were very good, not too spicy, just perfect and a very reasonable price

We attended the venue for a bottomless brunch for a hen party. The service was abysmal. We arrived at our given time to be told the table wouldn’t be ready for another 15 minutes. When we eventually got to our table half of the food arrived with the other half not arriving for another 10 minutes - to add to this the food was preordered so how on earth half arrived without the other half is beyond me. The food portions were also tiny. Drinks orders were taken and we were then waiting another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We had one drink each for the first hour of the “bottomless” brunch. Once we had complained and made clear we were not leaving the venue until we had received the drinks promised in the package, the drinks started arriving more regularly. The service was so poor another table behind us just got up and left.

Be careful with allergies!! Drinks and staff were brilliant although one member of bar staff in a cocktail bar during a busy afternoon meant you were waiting ages at the bar. Issue was with the menu, my partner is coeliac so we used the filter option on the online table ordering to find only gluten free options. The options were very limited but the Spicy Fried Chicken appeared so we ordered assuming they had used cornflour or similar. When it arrived we were not convinced so checked the allergen menu online and found that despite claiming to be gluten free these were actually not and staff confirmed this when we asked. Normally ask staff about everything like this however when you are actually able to filter the menu you would be easily fooled into thinking these were safe. If we had not checked again it would have resulted in her being physically sick for the next day or two and completely ruined a trip to Belfast. The same care really needs to be taken by restaurants as is taken with nut allergies etc. and misleading menus like this one are dangerous UPDATE 25/07/24: Despite reply below there has been no further contact from Revolucion de Cuba with results of investigation

Interesting place. We went there for the music when kitchen was closed. Had live music, club music and nice drinks. The music wasn’t to my taste but we had a good night regardless.
