The Gasworks Restaurant & Bar in Belfast

Very dissapointed with hotel. Feel ut shoukd have no rating at all but definitely not 4 star. Very shabby. Room not very clean. Premium price charged but it was not worth it. Think management should have closed until renovations were done. Staff were very nice and must be hard for them to try push this hotel to visitors. Food at breakfast was very poor. This can't be blamed on works going on at hotel. Not a happy stay in a beautiful city like Belfast. Mary

Here for a work function. All the arrangements were perfect and the food was lovely. Beautiful location.

We had a good breakfast that was included in the hotelprice. Enough choice, very good croissants, nice selection of nuts. I loved the tomato juice too. And you can have a cappuccino.

Arrived to the hotel and was greeted by the super friendly lady called Amanda. She was absolutely amazing with my little girls. She brought Colouring pages and crayons to keep them entertained while my wife & I enjoyed a drink. The food is amazing in the hotel and the room is spacious & comfy. It's a 10 min walk to the centre of Belfast so all round a top hotel to stay in 👍 thanks Amanda for being amazing your a credit to the hotel 👍💚

Loved it here. My son and I went to a job fair held in this hotel & decided to have lunch before we headed for home. We were a bit unclear where to order. There was a bar with one girl staffing it (before we left, there were two). Originally we were just having coffee but when we saw someone eating, we decided to have lunch. There were four guys at the bar being served & I walked over to what I thinwas the dining room. It had a rope across, indicating that we could not enter. Although some staff looked up & saw me, no one indicated as to what I was to do. I walked back & forth to my son, about to give up, but then decided to stand with the four guys & the one girl serving. I was eventually served. The meal was very nice. The setting was outstanding, especially as the sun was out & we were able to sit & eat & watch the Lagan flowing past. We would go again. Service was pleasant but slow.

Excellent service, 'craicing' breakfast

Having stayed here on Sunday 18th February I could not believe how this hotel had declined since I stayed previously when it was Raddison Blu. Although the reception, bar and dining areas all remain the same, when you get out of the lift it is clear it is in need of major refurbishment. The corridors are grotty and carpets dirty. The room was basic and I don't know what they think is on the bed but that is certainly not a quilt! More like a sheet. The room was cold and no amount of setting the temperature control could improve it. The bathroom was roasting! - should have slept in there. Breakfast was a disaster. Had tea and toast and then discovered that there was no hot breakfast left, 10 am. Pointed this out to the server and then "the ladies with badges" started to rush about as if they had it under control Although none of them spoke to myself or the other guests who were standing waiting to be fed! 10 minutes later still no hot food or response from staff so we left. I did tell the receptionist when checking out that we had no breakfast but she was not interested either. Disappointed that the hotel has lost it's mojo, used to be a lovely place to stay.

Good food but seriously awesome service. Particularly Dagmar who was working breakfast the day I left. She was so kind and sweet and helpful. Really decent for a hotel breakfast. Atmosphere was classic hotel so nothing special. But really sweet service.

Room on 4th floor dirty carpet and curtains broken lamp bulb hanging out. Bed untidy duvet lumpy bathroom dirty Not representative of advertisement. As per standard room. Def not 4 star at all more like 2 star Rang 4 times to discuss same. Steak sandwich was awesome but it took ages to arrive 😄, staff were very helpful and friendly.

As other recent reviews have said service extremely slow yet bar empty of anyone else eating. Weren't approached on sitting down or offered menu ( prices have also noticeably increased since rebranding in last few weeks) Had to go looking for staff. Simple order of 2 burger and fries and a Caesar salad took best part of an hour to appear despite further prompting, as 1 of our party had to be back in work. There was no chicken in the Caesar salad either. My advice would be stay away until the Cork based hotel chain take over.

The restaurant is large and was noisy with music being played loudly. Menu is quite short but a decent amount of choices. Service was slow despite the restaurant being almost empty. Food was good quality

Not worth it! Restaurant closed for a private party of 12! So we had to sit in the bar, which was fine except for the SLOW SERVICE! Ordered fish& chips, 25 minutes later we asked the server where our food was, his response was this isn’t a fast food fish & chips place!! We really wish we would of known this beforehand so we could of ordered another dish! Wow, the place was really pretty empty! Very small order when it did arrive, no one ever came to check on us, he basically disappeared. We will never return to this place!

I keep coming back here when ever I need to work in Belfast. Absolutely amazing staff, breakfast is really good and also the a la carte. Rooms are large and the beds are suuuper comfy. I will never choose another Hotel than this in Belfast!

Not a lot of menu choice, I’m afraid. There are much better restaurants within walking distance.

The restaurant is part of the hotel and is where breakfast is served daily. We decided to eat here rather than go back into the City Centre and it didn’t disappoint. We did only order 3 items as we weren’t that hungry but each of the plates arrived hot, nicely cooked and with great flavour. The very easy garlic bread had crispy edges, a good amount of cheese and garlic butter but a very soft and chewy inside, off to a good start. The Chowder main dish and Chicken Stack were lovely. The Chowder could have had a bit more fish but the flavour and amount was very good. The Chicken stack was nicely cooked with creamy champ potatoes, a very nice sauce, a kick of black pepper running through it but I would have preferred more, but that a personal choice. No Dessert this time but we did have the Ice Cream Sundae the night before whilst drinking at the bar, nice enough but the Biscoff sauce was replaced with salted caramel which was too salty. Even though the restaurant and bar are part of the hotel it seems like it’s two separate ventures as they are run differently, with the restaurant being organised and clean but the hotel to a certain degree not. As this restaurant is in the hotel and out of the way it will probably only be residents eating there. Very good efficient service with a smile and can do attitude.👏👏👏 Maybe the hotel part should take note.

There was a good choice of food for breakfast - cereal, fruit, pastries, fry etc…. We went for dinner one night, it was ok, we didn’t love it. Found it quite expensive considering we had burgers & pizza. The atmosphere in both the restaurant and bar were quite relaxing and the staff were both friendly and attentive.

My friend and I stayed at the Radison in Belfast and with our daily breakfast we had the best breakfast and attention. Dagnar was so attentive and happy, she said how grateful and blessed she is to take care of her clients. Sharmin’s smile lughts up the room and Brandon makes the best hot chocolate! This restaurant, its food, staff and aesthetics has made me be a regular customer. I visit it once a fort night. The food is phenomenal, the Polish chef put all his love and attention to every ingredient and detail of the dish and makes your...palate to ask for more! I have ordered the last couple of times burger with homemade spread, coleslaw, and another time burger with pulled pork. Big, soft ban, big portions, so yummy you don't want to stop eating. From dessert I ordered the most delicious lemon tart. I didn't even share it with my partner, he had to order his own. The restaurant is big, clean, with large glass wall that allows you to see the lovely pedestrian surroundings, beautiful artworks and sculptures all over and with enough space in between the tables. Staff top notch, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Especially Alan, the waiter is amazing, he has a natural kindness and he is so funny, he makes you feel like you are at home! Keep up the good work, you sure have a devoted customer

Lovely meal and service friendly staff

Insane food, Michelin star quality up there with merchant, Edo and Deanes at Queen except a third the price. Great portions, excellent presentation. Exquisite taste and cocktails also Merchant world-class standard. Would go to again and highly recommended. Great decor, private seating and spacious not cramped like many city centre Belfast restaurants these days. Clearly understated and underrated restaurant with hardly any time it’s fully booked out. Only 10 min walk from centre.

We got a burger and chips for lunch, Burger perfectly cooked with french fries. Just a suggestion but nowher seems to give you an offering of different sauces to go along with the fries. eg barbeque, spicy brown, even guacamole, garlic

We had business in the area so called in for lunch. It has modern decor and is very clean and tidy. There was a friendly lady doing the bar and floor. We just had a panini and fries and a sandwich and the food was nice. I think his would be a good hotel to stay at and within walking distance of the city shops and nightlife.
