It was our first time at Yo Sushi and we enjoyed the experience. The conveyor belt of food options was a neat little novelty. The food was tasty. And the service was friendly and fast. We did find the price of some of the dishes a little high in our opinion. But we'll be back sometime in the future.

I was in YO SUSHI. And I really liked it. We were met and greeted and then taken to our table. The food was delicious, I recommend Chicken Katsu and salmon sashimi. The atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and nice. And what is no less important, fast and high-quality service. I will definitely come back to YO SUSHI again.

When we walked in there was no one to greet us so we waited and waited, we decided to sit down as it was empty and we had a baby with us, then the waitress comes over and tells us off for doing so. We ordered a few dishes and they took ages to come to the table, some of the dishes didn’t arrive at all, one dish was totally wrong, so I sent it back for the right one to come straight away, it was warm and most probably sitting around for ages, this was the only thing my partner didn’t eat and I’ve been rolling around in agony all evening with terrible diarrhoea and stomach cramps, I would strongly avoid this place!

I visited this so called restaurant a couple of days ago. and I have never ever been so disappointed and utterly shocked by the rudeness of the staff members . we got sat down by this lady and she was so rude and I work in hospitality so I know what the bare minimum of service looks like and I can tell you she didn’t even fit into that category . Within seconds of sitting down she came over and asked us what we wanted we then asked for a few more minutes and she couldn’t even give us that . She returned 30 seconds later and proceeded to say “u ready yet” and I truly was shocked to hear this come out of a waitresses mouth. We kindly said a few more minutes please and she then tutted at us and rolled her eyes. I was disgusted by her attitude towards her customers and I can defiantly say I will not be returning to a place with staff like that! The food was low standard and not very nice at all. but I do believe if the waitress was a little bit nicer it would have helped the atmosphere . but all in all I am disgusted by this place and will never be returning.

I love yo sushi normally but ordered a takeaway today and there was a hair on my salmon sushi I understand this was probably a mistake but it is disappointing as it ruined the whole platter :( I always come here and will most likely come back as it’s good if this issue is resolved appropriately

We came for lunch about a month ago, we were greeted by a lovely woman on the door who was quickly told she wasn’t allowed to seat us (as it wasn’t her job) by what I’m guessing was the manager. She then was quick to get our drinks and our food order taken but we couldn’t help but notice how the manager spoke to her, on multiple occasions we asked if she was okay reassuring her that she did not need to rush nor juggle as many things as he was asking. We did try and leave her a generous tip after this visit however we were informed that it was shared between the staff while it seemed to be only her actually working. We revisited about a week ago, hoping that things had improved, we also did ask a front of house member of staff how she was getting on and were informed that she had left (we gather due to the reasons above). It is a shame, as she was one of the things that made our experience a little better with how attentive she was. Until the staff learn to respect each other especially infront of customers, we will not be returning.

Ordered home delivery in Leeds with Uber eat. An hour later I'm still waiting for my order. Called the shop...no on web not valid. Tried to cancel order on Uber eat proved impossible. Avoid at all cost ordering for home delivery. Apparently not enough drivers to take the job. Update: an hour and a half later, order finally arrived with an item missing, sushi was warm because hot item placed on top, gyozas lukewarm not edible...complete waste of my money. AVOID for home delivery!

I usually enjoy Yo Sushi as a takeaway meal from the supermarket, but this was my first time dining in the restaurant. The flavours of the food were undeniably good, living up to my high expectations. The ambiance was decent, and I especially loved the novelty of the conveyor belt with its wide selection of sushi. The staff were friendly, and the service was both quick and efficient. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will definitely visit again.

Sushi is OKAY there (just). Better than a gas station but unless you custom order it’s fairly low grade stuff on the conveyer belt held up by dried onions. The service was terrible despite it not being busy and it frankly cost a fortune. We ordered salmon fire cracker rice and it was terrible. The consistency, flavour and portion were all well below our expectations. Same for the popcorn shrimp. No garnishing, just a fairly mild sweet chilli sauce. I think it’s worth mentioning the girl who served us in the place of our original inattentive server was nice and very apologetic for his mistake (which she didn’t need to apologise for) We will not be returning to Yo! Sushi

Came in around 3:30pm and it wasn't busy, very excited as I usually love Yo!. Was seated at the far end and had a good view of the entire room. Bullet point summary: ▪️Long wait for food and drinks even though hardly any customers. One plate was removed from our bill total due to this. ▪️Not a clear selection of what the sushi on the conveyor belt is or contains. ▪️Large amount of dust build up over food preparation table and over where you eat. ▪️Two staff members went into the staff area to eat and were sat on the floor - might be a personal choice but there were plenty of tables in the main area. ▪️Had to send an item back as it was not as described on the menu. Full review: The sushi plates on the conveyor belt are a lovely touch however I noticed hardly any of the vegetarian options going around. The only information on the plates is the time for food health and safety, making it guess work as to what dish it actually is. Customers that were seated after us were asked for their drinks order, we politely caught the waitress on the way past to order drinks. This took a while as we watched other customers order and receive their drinks before us, after catching someone's attention again we were given our drinks. During this wait I noticed two staff members go into what looks like a small break room, from the angle I was sat I can not confirm if there is adequate table space however I did see the staff place their Yo! plated food in and sit on the floor before beginning to eat. As it was quite quiet I found this upsetting as there were plenty of open booths that they could have tucked themselves into for more space. Additionally during the wait I noticed the amount of dust buildup on the decorative colored beams hanging over the food preparation counter and how much was on each lamp shade above where the food is eaten. An example photo provided. Once we had settled into our drinks we managed to catch the same waitress to order some warm food from the menu. One item, the gyoza pictured, was not as described on the menu. This led to discussing the dish directly with the chef who then apologized and replaced the item immediately and as the menu described. Someone that I assume to be a manager reduced our bill by a plate due to our wait. I really appreciated this. I feel this place would benefit from a good dusting but generally perhaps small tablets at each table area to order what you want. Destination table number stickers to be put onto the conveyor belt plates once made and for the most commonly requested to be scattered in between as claimable. This would bring more interaction to the novelty of the conveyor belt as this is the center piece.

The food is nice however the atmosphere and service has gone down slightly in my most recent visit. Its not the same as it was. No longer water available at the table dispensers. No button to press on the table with the fantastic voice over the speaker. Can order with the waiting staff however it directs you to order through the app in which not all options available in the restaurant are on the app. Originally the experience was outstanding but its just not the same anymore.

Went on the 30/11 for an evening and it was a very poor experience. We started off waiting quite a while to be seated. The restaurant was very cold. We had one server and I think he was waiting the whole place. To be fair the guy working was polite and was trying his best but was way too stretch. It was hard to get his attention when we needed folks, sauces and more miso soup. It was a very long wait for food and then we were told some items were out of stock because they didn’t get a delivery. We ordered some further items but again another long wait. After 25 minutes we cancelled the items and asked for our bill. We paid the service charge which was annoying as the service was very very poor. I won’t be coming back to this yo sushi place.

Came here on a Friday and it was the most bizarre experience. When we arrived the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full and we were asked to come back in 15 minutes as it was busy. We asked if we could just sit and wait and that's what we did. We got sat down at the table but we had to help ourselves to menus. Everyone arrived afterwards was also told the same but no one was leaving so the 15 min rule would not be helping solve the 'busyness'. One group were told come back in 15 mins, they did and then gave up after being seated due to the poor service. The food came out at a normal speed but the portion sizes were definitely smaller than other yo sushis. However it took ages for our drinks to arrive and we were not the only table asking for their drinks to be given. We ordered a green tea in the order and we were given luke warm tea. Also trying to get a glass for a fanta we had ordered was difficult as well. When asked for a refill of the tea we basically got told he was busy and we would just have to wait. The person on the floor of the restaurant seemed very very overwhelmed and possibly needed more support rather than being on his own. He seemed to be not coping well and was not happy every time a delivery request came through. When we came to pay, it seemed the table before had done a runner (possibly due to the bad service, who knows) so we had to work out how much we owed. Seems more staff and support is needed at this place so better management. The food itself was fine, just on the small side.

Absolutely amazing service from Sahil! He is the only staff member who was kind and respectful enough to tell me that the soya sauce here contains alcohol! I have been eating here for years and nobody ever mentioned this to me so I’m shocked. He even offered to make his own concoction of sauces, as an alternative for not having soya sauce.

Great food, if you can get it! The last few times we've been, the restaurant has blocked all walk-ins despite being only 20%ish full due to understaffing. Lack of customers also means a lack of atmosphere inside :/ Hope they can fix it soon! In the meantime, make sure you book in advance or you won't be eating here!

Disappointing visit! It's been a while since I last went and I won't be going back for a while that's for sure. For the price you pay the standard is probably not as good as the stuff you can get in supermarkets now. Because most of it is either self service from the conveyor or ordered from the app at your table they've clearly made a decision to massively reduce staff. We waited ages to get seated as 1 poor person was on their own trying to manage all the tables. He did his best, but was clearly struggling!! Not worth the money at all anymore in my opinion. Updated 18/07/23 - I felt it was only fair to update that I had a very positive experience with a very responsive customer service team following my review. This resulted in a gift card to put towards a follow up visit for a hopefully more positive experience.

I love this place. Ive been coming since the first ones opened in London many years ago but it’s clear that the staff aren’t cared for and look so glum. Food is great but pricey and the menu doesn’t correspond to the online ordering system which is annoying for most people but for neuro diverse customers its just offensive The service was slow but it felt as though everyone was trying their best to make it work but i couldn’t feel any leadership and the team all looked fed up and genuinely (pleased) surprised to have some banter and engagement We would have stayed and spent more after eventually getting some smiles today until i looked up (above table 15) and let’s just say those lamps and open wire trays around vents and extraction need a deep clean Keep going cos its a great brand and would be a tragedy for it to go under like so many I suggest regional Management need to show some love and respect to their team so they can have what they need to to their bit PS you cant eat here unless you use a smart phone. My battery was dead which was infuriating but when we eventually logged in it took forever- i suggest whoever designed the platform wasn’t a customer and had no interest in diverse audiences or maybe the tech people went live too soon! Had a very poor experience here service-wise. First- the conveyor belt system has changed, so that ordered dishes are now brought out to you by the very overworked chefs rather than arriving on the conveyor with the traffic light system. My children were disappointed as they loved the food arriving as if by magic on the conveyor! Alas, the major issue is that the waiting staff occupy a table, staring constantly at ipads, waiting for orders (mainly delivery) to come in and are utterly disinterested in the actual dining customers in the restaurant. We felt like we were a nuisance - interrupting the constant stream of deliveroo orders, which seemed to be the major focus. Getting someone's attention was very difficult. Staff didn't have their eyes on the restaurant. The orders from dine-in customers don't seem to go direct to the chefs - who seemed to have to rely on the waiting staff to tell them what to cook. One of our dishes was wrong - to which the chef said "they didn't tell me that". The correct dish then failed to appear until we reminded the waiter much later. Requests for cutlery for our children were forgotten, multiple times. Glasses weren't brought for the drinks. Then a trip to the toilet for my 6 year old discovered no toilet roll, and no soap in the bathroom. Disinterested staff member couldn't find any in the store room or the gents. All a bit of a shambles. The food itself was delicious (bar some very hastily made salmon maki). The chefs looked flustered and overly busy. This experience couldn't have been more different to one at lunchtime a few weeks ago, which was exemplary in every way. For the love of all that is holy, get a dedicated chef and waiter to deal with the deliveroo orders, and allow the rest of the staff to do a decent job with the dine in customers.

Unhelpful server and plastic tea bags. I left early and went to continue eating elsewhere. The guy making the sushi was helpful and nice though.

The chef who was on was amazing. Incredible food, a lovely person. Made my day really. If you're reading this Yo! you need to do something special for them because he went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time at your restaurant.

I rarely get to come here as my partner isn't a fan of this type of food, but when I do I make sure to indulge! It's super easy to just sit down and start ordering food, and I love the conveyor belt system that brings your food to you on a cute little plate! Very tasty food and the staff are lovely too!

This was my first time at YO! My wife has been trying to get me to go for 11 years, my biggest mistake ever! The food options are great and there's plenty of other things other than sushi to order. Do not make the same mistake I did and just visit!

Amo este lugar. La selección de bebidas es una locura si no puedes encontrar algo que te guste, entonces dejaría de beber, no es para ti. La comida es barata, barata, pero la calidad es excelente. Una de las mejores estacas de 10 onzas que jamás haya tenido la lasaña es irreal. Recomiendo ambas cosas. Además, sin olvidar el personal, son realmente amables, el bar una vez (La señora del bar) era un verdadero gruñón. y sin olvidar el happy hour, es genial para las bebidas baratas un viernes antes de llegar a Leeds. Uno de los mejores lugares que he encontrado en Leeds hasta ahora.

Kate fue una de las mejores camareras que he experimentado, nos alegró la noche. Honestamente el mejor bar de la historia! Ella era tan amable tan hasta los pies de la tierra y un anfitrión increíble.

Placed an order very rude on the phone taking my order the food was cold plain and bland worsed £30 spent give to my dogs and they even turned they noise up needs shutting down wouldn't recommend it to any one

early delivery. driver even. knocked quietly given the late hour. fantastic food, great quality. only criticism is that it was all very salty. not inedible, just a lot saltier than we're used to.
