It’s very good for the food and my mum and dad love it and their salt and chilli chicken is the best and their curry’s

this is my go to takeaway, the chips are so flavourful 💞

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. The noodles were slightly scorched and they used top Ramen noodles not chow main. The meat was bland. 4 bites and I threw it in the garbage.

Not good value for money on this visit

I’m not judging palates but if you’re from the U.S. , just mentioning that the taste and amount of fat and sauce is so different than Chinese in the U.S. We ordered 3 dishes: fried rice with chicken and ham (they did not have what we refer to as “combination” fried rice ; and, the duck and chicken dishes . All had a very different taste than what we are familiar to and had enormous amount of fat on the chicken and duck. None of us liked it but again, we are familiar with U.S. Chinese and not making a judgment of whether it is tasty to others .

Lovely little Chinese. Our first day in bushmills and we did not feel like cooking, drove in to town and popped in, quick service and delicious food

Excellent service food was great staff very friendly

Everything we had was very tasty, especilly the noodles and the duck. I took one star away because there was way to much liquid in the dishes.

My partner and me thinks this the place to go if visiting Bushmills staff are so friendly food is great price and delicious 😋 the only thing is there's no delivery but worth the drive or even a visit if just passing through

The beef in the beef chow mean was like the roast beef from a supermarket packet.

We order regularly from Yi House - lovely people & great food. Lots of veg in the dishes which I love, and they do a gluten free batter for those who are intolerant (for King Po etc)

Ordered beef curry with boiled rice for two and it came quickly without a long wait. It was very nice with plenty of meat and a tasty sauce.

Probably the best value Chinese in the area - the food is very good too. The only issue is with the wait; when you have ordered online and come on time, you don't expect to have to wait another 15 mins. Still, at least the wait is worth it!

The worse Chinese food I ever had. Terrible. No value for money. They had more onion than the food. No taste at all, I brought a shrered beef and it was tasting like dry fish and fried too much, most of the piece was only batter. Horrible. Quantity of was very less according to the price.

This was mediocre to bad Chinese food. Ordered chicken fried rice and prawn chow mein. Very little vegetables or spice in either. Tiny packets of soy sauce were extra charge. No plates or napkins available. The only good part was that it was cheap.

Have to say i’ve enjoyed Yi house in the past but tonight it was absolutely disgraceful. The meal was soggy and chicken didn’t even look edible, received bag of prawn crackers with only 4 in it. Disgusting! When rang up to voice my unhappiness in a pleasant way, was treated with disrespect and was told to bug off and it’s already paid and taken. No customer service, no proper manners! Never return again!

My son ate here one night when we were in Bushmills because he needed something GF. The food was terrible--the sauce tasted identical, he said, to the fruity electrolyte drink he had unfortunately bought to go with it.

I had a sweet chili chicken with noodles and it was delicious. 😋 Highly recommend.

Well this place is very good food served warm and tasty and at a very good price. Traditional Chinese that you would expect to find anywhere you wanted to eat Chinese. Defo my first choice in the future .

We ordered from Yi House on Saturday night. We had chicken Hong Kong style, fried rice, Chips and chicken chow mien. The food was hot and it was good. The chicken pieces were quite small but portion size of chips was generous. They gave us prawn crackers free - we appreciated these.

I don’t understand how this place gets such good reviews. My family got a range of dishes for dinner (sweet and sour chicken, kung pao chicken, crispy chicken in Peking sauce, and half a duck) and it was all awful. Chicken dishes had very little meat - mostly dough - and any meat that was there was tough and chewy. Same with the duck - difficult to call what was provided meat - it was mostly shards of skin and fat for all we could tell. And the flavor was bland. Won’t be back.

Quick, friendly service. After an afternoon in Portballintrae harbour the kids were ravenous and this really hit the spot. Really recommend the crispy chilli chicken.

I had not visited Yi House for several years for a carry out, but, as a fan of a tasty curry, I decided to try again. The beef curry was not only one of the tastiest we have had recently but also generously proportioned. I look forward to sampling some of their other dishes from their extensive menu.

We had a pleasant takeaway with a variety of decent meals. Not too expensive BUT no card machine. This is not good. We will be back but this definitely spoiled our experience!

Best curry and gravy chip, and dry ribs weve had in a while...

Visited the area here every year for a good while and eaten takeout from here every visit. Always a good generous meal, quick service and very reasonable price.

Love the Chinese food here! Almost always the only place open late at night on a weeknight in Bushmills when coming back from the airport too!

A Terrible Meal!!! A tasteless, colourless, and watery offering. Go somewhere else!! Avoid Spring Rolls and King Prawn with Cashew nuts like the Plague!! I phoned after to complain, but they didn't care!!

Decent enough take-away Chinese food. Could find very little open in Bushmills High Street at dinner-time that worked for our picky family of four. Yi House did the trick. I've had better Chinese, and I have definitely had worse.

This is our local Chinese, we love how fresh the food is it. And the owners are always very nice and pleasant. The portions are big and great value for money. They have the best honey chilli chicken. The kids meal are big portions too. They even do chicken teddies that is always a hit with the kiddies.

We rang through and our order was waiting for us when we arrived to collect it. Restaurant was very clean and the food excellent.

Called last night on our last night of a week away in bushmills. Food very tasty,fresh and lots of it!recommend!

First time visited service was very very slow. Waited almost an hour for average food. Have given it a few more chances - not many Chinese takeaways in bushmills to choose from! Most recent visit chicken in black bean sauce was not good at all. Chicken didn’t taste like chicken and sauce was very dark and thick. Special chow mein was bland and greasy. Both could not be finished. Special box was fine, just not enough curry sauce. Had we been sitting in a restaurant food would have been returned to the kitchen. Very disappointing eating experience. We will not go back.

Excellent food quality and extremely well cooked without being greasy and fatty. We had ribs, chicken curry, bean sprouts, mushrooms, fried rice and chips and it was all really tasty and well cooked. We had a great meal and the young lady serving us was very friendly.

Excellent wee carry out shop, I thought I had tasted nice Chinese food until I tried here, never been in it as the wife enjoys collecting it more than me, but I certainly enjoy eating it.. yum yum

Visited this Chinese while visiting Bushmills and had read positive reviews. The meals are a little more expensive than at home and the don’t come with a side. Service was pretty slow, though we didn’t mind waiting as we thought this was a good sign that the food was being made fresh.

Family of 4. We each got a main course at this take away. We thought it would be a safe choice as they were displaying a trip advisor cert. Food was practically inedible and most of it ended up in the bin. None of us could eat our meals

Das ist auf jeden Fall kaum genießbar dort. Der Laden ist voll (Nur Selbstabholer) man wartet Ewigkeiten und dann ist das essen geschmacklich meiner Meinung nach nicht zu gebrauchen. Ich hatte die snackbox und Bratnudeln. Die Nudeln waren okay. Die snackbox hingegen ein Desaster. Holt euch lieber was im Supermarkt.

Waited 90 minutes on my order. I eventually asked for a refund and was asked to wait another few minutes as the food was being bagged up. What we received was average at best I'd advise going elsewhere.

I regularly get take away from here and recommend to visitors to the area. Food is very good.

Salsa parecía apetitosa. Fideos fritos, huevo frito suave de arroz, rollos pancake mini y patatas fritas eran todos muy buenos. No comer la galletas de cortesía, así que no puedo comentar. Pedí hongos Foo Yung, no una de las opciones de huevos, que no era un problema para ellos y muy sabroso. No es genial, pero en general disfrutamos lo que teníamos de una previamente desconocidas para llevar en un pequeño pueblo aislado, relativamente, que siempre es un riesgo.

Elegimos este por las críticas de tripadvisor, - ¡qué error! Entre sus comida llegó de salsa y en gluggy era muy sosa con verduras pasada en lo que se suponía que era un hubo salteado. Nuestro próximo error estaba comiendo! Supongo que teníamos hambre. Evitar.

Aunque estaban a sólo 10 minutos de distancia, y llamamos a la orden en la comida era decepcionante! Estábamos tan hambrientos como habíamos estado fuera todo el día.

Several members of our family got a take-away order from here and we all enjoyed the food very much so I am happy to recommend Yi house

We got take out at the Yi House in Bushmills and it did not disappoint! We were pubbed out and the only other cuisine we had seen in little villages of Ireland was Chinese. What I ordered was different from American Chinese, but down right good! The Hot and Sour soup was different than the states, but yummy and spicy! Would go back!

The food was good and fresh but just doesn't live up to the high standards of my favourite place back home.

Had a lovely meal from here all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and cleared our plates. The shop itself was immaculate throughout and very friendly staff.

We always use this take away any time we are staying in the area. Prices are average for chinese and they do a varied childrens menu which i find is often enough for an adult.

We were a little apprehensive to try Chinese food in a small town like Bushmills, but let me tell you, these guys know what they're doing and it is amazing. It was some of the best Chinese food I have ever had and I wish we had a Yi House back home because we would go every week. Go check this place out, it is fantastic!

We love nearby but had never tried Yi House before for a Chinese carry out. So glad we did. The food was very good. My wife chose crispy lemon chicken and I had a chicken curry. Both contained generous portions of chicken and were very tasty. The girl at the desk was friendly and efficient and the waiting area was smart and clean. A welcome alternative to the fish and chip culture of Bushmills and good value for money.

Yi House was easily the best chinese restaurant I have ordered from. It is better to 'phone in and order as, due to its popularity it does mean a 15 minute wait for an order placed when calling in. Definitely eat from Yi House

Friendly service on the phone and in the take away. Generous portions and fresh ingredients. Perhaps slightly spoilt by too much gloopy sauce but that may only be my personal preference.

Trattandosi di una piccola attività, si ha l'impressione che la cucina rispetti quelle che sono realmente le tradizioni del loro paese, rendendola semplice ed appetitosa. Verdure bollite, gamberi, riso, salse preparate in casa. Lo consiglio vivamente e mando un grande saluto al cuoco!

I have always went past this takeaway as it was new to the town and hadn't heard much of it. So tonight I decided to give it a go! And I was surprised how clean the it was everything looked spotless and a great fish tank on the counter as a novelty. The girl taking the orders was very friendly and polite, menu was clearly shown on the wall and prices quite reasonable. 10 minutes to wait on your order as I hadn't their phone number to phone it in, all in all it was a fast service, very clean premises and the food was lovely I will definitely be back.

This was our first time to use Yi House and we were not disappointed. We had friends round and decided on simplicity to get a carry out. We all agreed that the food provided was excellent and would have absolutely no hesitation about using it again or recommending it to others. If you like something with chilies we recommend the crispy beef in honey sauce with chilies - just perfect.Excellent food at the right price.

My first Chinese food takeaway in Ireland. I ordered seafood chow mein and special fried rice. Generous servings and very tasty to my liking not cheap though.

I used Yi House for the first time last weekend and was impressed by the menu and choices available. All the usual choices are there plus a few not previously encountered. The food was prepared quickly and was very nice. I will definitely be back again.
