Finished a walk round Leyton here and popped in for a coffee before going home. Great coffee and wonderful brownie. Will be going back to try brunch menu.

Where do you start with this lovely bohemian shop/wine bar in Francis Road, Leyton. Our family (and Ginny the cockapoo) went to a wonderful English wine tasting evening there. Our host, Eliza a co-owner was so passionate about the thriving English wine market from top of the range Nyetimber to Dunleavy Rose from Somerset though my favourite was an unusual sparkling red from that vineyard. Eliza took us on a whistle stop tour of English vineyards I had never heard of. It was a fantastic evening with photographs adorning the walls from a local photographer. Also it is worth checking out the shop and wine bar with its urban garden and Deya Steady Rolling Man on draught.

Have been following this place on Instagram for a while but never knew it was in Leyton until passing by! We stopped for a quick brunch and it was delicious. I got the flat bread with charred greens and it was very good! Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!

Great food, lovely atmosphere, menu changes quite frequently and never disappoints. A great independent business and addition to the area!

It’s a cafe and restaurant The staff are lovely They are helpful Coffee It’s good Buts it’s a bit odd that the cups are about the size of an espresso when you have ordered an Americano. So not close to value for money. Brunch The full English as a vegetarian option is a bit underwhelming. Because it doesn’t exist and is made up of extra bits. So - again not great value. The bead is lovely though. The pancakes - salty. I mean really salty. Go again? No.

Tip: expect the unexpected, when they simply state potatoe in the menu don’t assume the obvious, these are like million dollars fries... Went for brekkie, I’m not one to usually order a fry but it was honestly delicious 😋 Went back for dinner. Mushroom croquettes are amazing, the carrot & grains dish was nearly like pudding it was so yum and the fried chicken was 👌🏻 . We over ordered so took away the pumpkin ragu pasta and had it for lunch the next day and it too was amazo 🙌🏻

Lovely cosy restaurant, the food was outstanding for the price and location. The decor is chic and cosy. The staff are charming, knowledgable and very friendly. It felt like somewhere we’d been before but also was a thrilling new culinary experience. We picked a variety of small plates to share and each was better than the last. The wine list was wonderfully quirky and we loved trying a few new wines. We will be back!

Came here for a Sunday lunch. It wasn't your usual roast. The chicken was cooked off the bone, flatten almost as to get a nice crisp on the skin. And the sides were all great. We were also very well looked after. Chef cooked us some delicious chickpea fritters as the pancake we'd seen online wasn't on the menu. Really adds to the experience when the chef is willing to get involved like that esp for food fanatics! Can't wait to go back and try the full evening menu. Our only request would be that they are better with sharing menu's. We are never clear from their website or Instagram what is being served and when. Think that would really help, esp in a day and age where people will often travel to eat a particular dish.

As a Leyton local, I have been a fan of the Yardarm deli / wine store next door for a while and was looking forward to visiting the restaurant. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere but our party of three were disappointed firstly in the range of choice on offer and secondly with the portion size. Whilst we appreciate a selective menu, to only have two options available for lunch did not provide sufficient choice - four could be a better number! There were no sides on offer or light nibbles / starters. We hadn’t come for brunch so were left to decide between fried chicken and the chickpea pancake. Whilst the food was delicious, there wasn’t enough of it! We would happily have spent a lot more to have some sides and starters. The chicken didn’t come with anything and was brought out as a sharing plate which wasn’t mentioned to us when we placed the order. Unfortunately the offering didn’t seem very generous for a Saturday lunch... and we have now gone down the road to the coach and horses for a fish finger sandwich as we left a bit on the hungry side ! We hope this isn’t seen as a negative review as we are really big fans of local businesses and want to see this go well for you, but just wanted to point out that your customers could be willing to spend quite a bit more of their time and money with you if there were more options available and more choice on the menu. Will be back in the future.

This was a first visit to this recently opened east London restaurant. Overall, it was very good. The quality of the food makes it unnecessary, in future, to venture into central London for similar cuisine. Looking forward to a return visit.

Dinner here . Lovely little restaurant next to the deli which is part of the same place. If you buy wine for the evening from the deli the restaurant charges a little for corkage. Food was all delicious using all fresh products and presented in different ways that were delicious. Staff very knowledgeable about all on offer and made helpful suggestions.

We go to the Yardarm deli all the time and love it. It really brings people together and the folks that run it know their onions. And Eliza her wine... We ALSO ate at the new Yardarm restaurant next door run by Henrietta Inman - the food was incredible and we will be returning regularly. Hope henrietta stays in Leyton a long time, a most welcome addition to the burgeoning talent on Francis Road

These guys really care about food and drink. Not only in the front shop but also in the remote backyard to have a cool drink in the evening. What a nice addition to the area!

We always tend to go here after our brunch on Sunday. I also visit there often on my days off for a latte. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They have my favourite Pasteis da Nata. A must for all Leyton peeps. #supportlocal

Stopped in here for a drink while visiting the area. Nice place. Good selection of drinks and nibbles. Had the cheese plate and a few glasses of wine. Chairs a bit uncomfortable and cracker selection poor, but otherwise good. Would recommend and return.

A fab little place full of character, cosy evening lighting and a great 'yard' for a bracing winter coffee and cake! A great choice of deli style goods including sourdough breads, great pesto and a wonderful selection of wines and spirits to start trying out!

The audacity to say this place has a wheelchair accessible entrance when you can see the steep step up in the photos. No. It’s not an accessible entrance at all.
