Always order from here, always amazing

Went to order a meal at 10.30 and got told it was closed and they were walking out of the premises so even if you wanted chips they still wouldnt provide them, totally shocking when they advertise they are open till 11. Just seem to do what they want.

This is in my opinion the best chippy in the area by fare. The fish cake are beautiful.

I ordered a salt n pepper box for 2 (defo a meal for one) there were no ribs 5 chicken wings 2 chicken pieces instead of 2 chicken wings an a good few chicken pieces also the chicken was black

Great food. Very tasty but chips and curry do change from time to time.

Called in here 3 times a week for fish and chips for my father in law. He was bedbound but he loved his fish and chips. The staff are lovely and the fish and chips is the best. Lovely crunchy batter on the fish, Highly recommend Yang Sing.

Ordered today via ubereats, took longer than time stated. Called to check on order, no sorry was given, just that it is coming in 10mins which was not 10mins of course, then I tried calling back twice as per uber's suggestions. Phone no longer being answered. Uber order had requested utensils, not put in. When food arrived just bland. I have eaten Chinese food many times before, this was not what I expected. 2 dishes ordered and both just bland, no flavour, like it was just done for the sake of. I regret, should have gone to Cosmo instead with the amount I paid. Worst chinese food ever.

Terrible. Not even worth 1 star. Had a special chow mein. It was vile. It was a few noodles with a load of beansprouts and 2 or 3 slices of pork and chicken dumped on top. The polystyrene box was a red flag. Shame I never checked it the shop. If I did they would have been wearing it. Do yourself a favour avoid this place like the plague. They overcharge for appalling food. The Chinese around the corner on finch lane is miles better and cheaper. You have been warned. I have reported this place to trading standards and the local council. I had 3 mouthfuls and was ill the next day. Even the dog would not eat it. It went in the bin. They refused to refund me my 7 pounds. It's going to cost them much more now. Horrible staff who can't speak English. Avoid at all costs. This place has no redeeming characteristics. Give it a wide berth. There are several better and cheaper take aways locally.

Was so happy ordering from here and then they go and let me down. Even if an order is put in later on. You should still put the same effort into cooking the food. Lazy! What a shame! Now to look for a new Chinese.

The worst chinese takeaway ever!! The food took ages to be delivered, and when it arrived it was actually vile. I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs incase they became sick. Food standards are very poor. Definitely wouldn't recommend

Salt Andy pepper Sui mais we’re rock hard really disappointing

Chicken wings was not cooked raw bits and immediately looking at them they didn’t look right it didn’t look like chicken more like raw salt an pepper Sui mi, I took one bite and thru the 2 portions straight in the bin waist of money! used to have nice food here not no more gone down hill

hot and sour soup is getting a lot less meat in today I got 1 piece . need to get a new chef or put some food in the soup . awful. chips were lunch times warmed up as they were too over cooked and dark brown . happened more than once now . should not be able to sell warm up chips. curry lovely . fried rice is awful very lumpy and we had 4 large hard lumps of rice in it they were that hard they were like rocks .please fix the problems . apart from that staff are lovely .

I placed an order and paid via justeat order was 30 mins late i rang and asked why it was late and why it yook 2 hours to send out they cancelled the order on me after me explaining that i had to be up for work in the next 5 hours terrible customer service

Overpriced, low quality, small portions, staff don't speak English, they buy a lot of products on next door Tesco express yellow stickers.avoid if you don't want to be sick

Friendly staff, great service, food is very good quality, can't fault the place.

If you plan on having hamburger and chips from this takeaway I would advise not to. They dont but salad on the burger like every burger should have the bit of salad I got on my burger was minuscule (you can see in the photo below) the chips were not salted and tasted like they were 2 days old. I hope I dont get sick from this. This takeaway isn't as nice as it seems not going here again I'll go to mcdonalds were they make real burger and chips for cheaper.

Best local takeaway in West Derby

Once again been ripped off . Hubby went in with £20 &got told it was only £10. Happened a few times over last 12 months & always dismissed it as he had had a few pints but this time daughter was at shop at same time so took money off him and gave him £20 & put rest back in pocket . He had no £10 notes on him . When he got change woman who served him said it was only £10 . He argued with her but got nowhere . I shall be going over tomorrow night to speak to owner . Been going here for 20 plus years & never complained before but had enough now .

Had food from here at lunch time yesterday and to my surprise the food seemed to be reheated from the day before . the chips were nearly dark brown and the savoury cake was brown inside . it was reheated and tasted absolutely horrible . we always eat here and shocked that they have started to reheat food .because i have always loved eating here but i think we will have to start eating in jumbos again whuch is a walk but worth it in the end .its such a shame .

First time I have rated Yang Sing although I have had takeaways from here many times. I have never been disappointed. Special chow mein is my favourite. All the dishes I have tried have been very tasty, nice big portions and lots of meat. I would recommend, only downfall is they don't deliver.

Food was delicious and staff were lovely

My favourite chippy however the service in here is mental, you can be stood in the queue and the people behind the counter just skip over you to serve someone who has just walked in, you have to be firm and cheeky at times to get served! Also word of advice make sure you check you have everything before you leave, they often forget to give you things they have charged you for or give you things you haven't asked for instead of something you have!

Chips were lovely, service is up the wall, skipping through the customers asking what they all want and still get it wrong lol

It's a lovely place to dine. The salt & pepper Dog is sensational! Best thing on the menu has to be the Sui Mai though. Lovely mix of Rat & Cat meat....... Mmmmmmmmmm lovely
