Their attention to detail, especially when catering to allergens, was exceptional and so reassuring. I had the pleasure of meeting three generations of absolute superstars who clearly pour their heart and soul into this place. The food was divine, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the service flawless. Yamas is more than just a restaurant—it's an unforgettable experience. I can't recommend it enough!

This is such a lovely family Run Authentic Greek Restaurant I arranged to go here with a couple of friends for my birthday on Saturday 16th November 2024 and the food and Service was top notch I just want to say Thankyou for helping to make my birthday soo special all the girls loved their food and kept going on about what a great place it was. Thankyou for taking the last minute booking soo glad I chose to come and eat there. The food was seriously delicious can’t believe they are right on the high street what a great night was truly an amazing experience Thankyou soo much. I wish we took more pictures of the food as we all had something a little different the food was seriously yummy. The drinks were also wonderful as well what a great evening with my girls who I haven’t seen for a while.

We had the Bifteki-Wrap, the Mixed Gyros-Wrap, the veggy Moussaka and a Salad with sides. Everything was very tasty and nice presented.

Tonight we had another nice dinner at Yamas. It offers authentic tasty gyros, with a great feta dip (tyrokafteri) and nice chips! I highly recommend it. Orange pie (portokalopita) is always great for dessert.

SUPERB gyros!,very cute restaurant, lovely lady . We enjoyed a great lunch. Sadly were not so happy to be told we had to pay service charge, that's something we would prefer to decide ourselves and they would have received more! I don’t remember a time when I ate such good Greek food. I picked combo skewers mixed: pork, chicken and bifteki with tzatziki. Every single piece was amazing including the tzatziki. The waitress was also very welcoming. Thank you. I will come back!

Pity I had an early dinner before working out, but my friend’s chicken gyro looks amazing, from the fresh cut grilled meat slices to the fluffy rice and the pita bread. Drooling… I’ll definitely come back to try these. I also didn’t expect such a nice latte at a restaurant. Rich (whole milk but still) and balanced. The staff are super friendly. The living plant decoration is beautiful. And the advertisement for Greek lessons is adorable!!

Ohhh my god. Gluten free pita?! There’s a first for everything. Chicken gyros was out of this world. And the freddo espresso was dreamy. Utterly delicious whipped coffee with no milk or sugar… you can thank me later! I’m totally smitten by Yamas. Great prices too.

My girlfriend and I had lamb kebabs. We came here for dinner because we had come together last year and it was happening! This time, though, she didn't even get full. The portions have dropped off. It tased real good, though!

Wanting some Greek food in the Camden area, Yamas was ready and waiting for us to enter in the late afternoon. As the first customers through the door, the chefs were already warmed up and ready to provide us with some amazing food. Starting off with some pitta, olives and various spreads including Tzatziki we were extremely satisfied with this assortment of flavourful appetizers. One thing from the menu that was enjoyed was the Courgette Balls, which were a good size, light, yet filling with the taste of the Feta cheese not so dominant showing a good balance with the ingredients. However for the mains we shared 2 Greek classic dishes, choosing to have a mixed Gyros and Meat Mousaka. Both dishes were extremely well prepared and after eating the dishes we weren't feeling uncomfortable as the food was made with care, which is also shown from the staff who served us not appearing too intrusive allowing us to really enjoy the food and decor of the restaurant.

Amazing place to try Greek souvlaki! I am Greek, I could honestly say that Yamas can compete the quality and taste you can find in Greece. We tried the pork gyros wrap and the chicken skewer platter and baklava for dessert! Everything was very tasty! I totally recommend this place!

Very good food and they are very welcoming. A little missing vegetables (cucumbers or tomatoes) in my Gyros plate. We had chicken gyros. A little too fatty for us but it's still a matter of taste. I recommend

Absolutely exquisite on every level. The atmosphere, service and above all else; the meal !! We had only one day in London, which was my second time ever! After going in for lunch we simply had to return again for dinner. It was the best meal of our lives. I am also celiac, and had absolutely no issues whatsoever! The food is authentic and therefore almost entirely gluten free, and the owner herself has an allergy, ontop of being a fabulous hostess. The meals were absolutely gorgeous. The service was top of the line. The atmosphere was incredible. And the prices were extremely fair! We would go to London a million times again just to dine here ! If you are looking for more than just food, this is the place.

This was the best meal we had our entire 10 days in the UK and we had some pretty great meals. It’s fresh and authentic Greek food. I love gyros and ours were outstanding!! So outstanding that we came back the next night! The service is courteous, kind. The place is clean with a welcoming atmosphere. I wish I could take Yamas back to my hometown!

A nice neighborhood restaurant with decent selection of vegetarian and meat dishes. You can square up a lunch and a soft drink in around £10.

Very nice place with great food, nice atmosphere and great customer service.

Ok food, tasteless. I give it 3 stars (closer to 2) due to poor customer service. We asked four times a simple bottle of water, got it 25 mins later (thankfully I had a spare in my bag). The restaurant wasn't busy so I don't understand why it was so hard to serve water to customers. Generally very disappointed by the service.

I went here tonight with one of my greek friend. We had something named Sanagaki for starter which was good but it bit salty, as a main we had shared platter of chicken and lamb Kebabs, with some doner under and bread and chips. The meats were really tasty, well marinated , not dry. Everything was alright. I forgot to take photos ! But my friend was not happy as a greek person, he said the food is not authentic greek food! But as I am not greek, I didn't understand and liked the food!

Do yourself a favor and try the Greek Juice, you not going to regret it. On top of that, the bread that comes with the starter, goat cheese, was SO delicious. As you can see in the photo, it's gone, we couldn't handle ourselves !

The decor is amazing and food is fab, but that’s where it stops. Staff were a little slapdash with our reservation, meaning we were sat on a table not meant for us. It was the worst table in the restaurant. Acoustics are shocking. We came here for a school friends catch up which we do a couple of times a year. We know nothing new about each other as we couldn’t hear a word anyone said due to the extreme volume of the music. We should have been told at booking that we need to do a sign language course prior to dining. If you don’t like your friends or partner then do go as the food is great and you don’t have to talk.

Delicious food and the Greek wine was glorious. 0ne of our party was a vegetarian and two others gluten free. We were all catered for very well indeed. Lastly, the waiter was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. Thank you 👍

The restaurant was cozy and just a block away from our apartment! The food was very nice, the meat to bread ratio was fantastic and the portion sizes great! Nice atmosphere, great food, great service.

I come her every week but today is my last visit. The red haired lady is rude. Last time she asked me to check my bank as the payment apparently hadn't gone through. Today she asked me if I had paid for the rice and then went to the till to check. She's racist clearly and disorganised. Last time other people got their food before me and they had ordered afterwards. I am done with Yamas. Will spend my money at more deserving places

Great food, since my boss introduced me to Greek food I love it, and this is one of my top two places to get my gyros wrap!!! Absolutely the best tasting food!!

Never been treated so rudely before. Looking for a light lunch, ordered 3 lunch meals and soup to share among 5 adults and a child. Knowing portions are big we didn't want food wastage. Didn't order drinks as we already had our coffees elsewhere earlier. The server rudely commented "no food no drinks". The restaurant was only a quarter occupied. Most customers were taking away. We didn't remove the tips from the bill even though they didn't deserve it.

Coming here for 4 years already. That's how much I liked it. Delicious mains (Try club sandwich, it's a Greek twist of a normal club sandwich, totally innovative and cool), delicious portokalopita. Try Ekmek as well. You will lick your fingers.

This restaurant really does take you to Greece! The staff are Greek and the food is authentic flavour, this will be my go to for when I miss Greece 😍 We had very good service, even a gluten free wrap option was available for someone at my table. I had the souvlaki pitta wrap and for dessert katifi which is a delicious Greek dessert. (My favourite! Highly recommend)

The first time I came, it was a good experience. The second time I came to order a takeaway when it was just normal busy, I was totally ignored, and waited for 15 minutes. The owner have a few glance at me and then continue doing her work, without letting me know that she’s busy, or told me she will get back for me later. Totally ignored me, and continued her work serving customers. So I left after waited 15 minutes without being acknowledged of my presence.

I've been to this place a couple of times. It's very authentic, fresh food, very good service and great atmosphere. I usually go for a variety of different small dishes, accompanied with a nice drink. It can get busy, but it usually has available seats.

Opciones sin gluten. Personal super amable. Local acogedor y en buena zona. Comida riquisima y abundante. Recomiendo la ensalada griega!

The moussaka was nice and came in big portions. Also would recommend the olives. Price per person averages to £20. The shop was clean and spacious and the staff were nice.

Restaurant was fairly empty when we visited (Saturday Late-Lunch) which meant the atmosphere was a little quiet, however the staff were friendly and knew the menu well. We were 4 adults plus a highchair and they accommodated us welcomingly. We will definitely be coming back!

My girlfriend and I came here yesterday (19 March 2023) for a quick chicken gyro each inside with some courgette balls. The courgette balls were great! However, the gyro tasted a bit inauthentic and didn’t sit too well. A few hours later, we both found ourselves quite sick with what we can only assume was minor food poisoning
