Great service and people, both inside and outside are a nice atmosphere, dragon burger was massive!!

Service and amostphete were good, but the food was quite bland.

Great place we visit every time we head to snowdonia. This Saturday night was fantastic, great guiness and the live guitarist had everyone up dancing at the end of the night. Superb!

Called in about 3 pm, and the dining area inside was busy but not crowded. The outside seating had a few customers as well. Service was very good, about a 10min wait for our order, which wasn't long wait for us. We had the rack of ribs and the hunter chicken, which were both very hot, the chips were very nice and not greasy at all, The homemade coleslaw was a delightful treat, so creamy!! Our dog was very welcome in the dining area , which is a huge bonus when looking for somewhere on a cool day, so many other places insist you sit outside

Outstanding Food, Generous Portions, and Great Value! We had the pleasure of dining at Y Stabl in the heart of Snowdonia, and it was a truly memorable experience. The food was simply outstanding! We ordered ribs and two jacket potatoes with tuna, and the portions were extremely generous. The ribs were exceptional—tender, juicy, and falling off the bone, with a depth of flavor that made every bite a delight. The jacket potatoes were equally delicious and satisfying. What really stood out, aside from the quality of the food, was the fantastic value for money. For a meal for three people, including two Cokes, we paid just £50. The jacket potatoes were only £8–£8.50 each, which is incredible considering the portion size and quality. The restaurant is part of a charming hotel, making it the perfect spot for both visitors and locals alike. We highly recommend Y Stabl to anyone in the Snowdonia area. Whether you’re after a hearty meal or a cozy dining experience, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be returning! On our last visit, the weather was very wet so for the first time we are inside, NEVER AGAIN. The overpowering stench of wet dog was dreadful. It would seem dogs take preference over humans here. Dogs on seats being fed at the tables by there owners. I was horrified. Great shame as we used to love it there, we will not return.

We always visit The Stables when we come to Betws-y-Coed. The food is generic pub grub but there is plenty of choice and portions are decent. We love the covered outside area with the patio heaters. However, as is the norm these days, the place is dog friendly and it often turns into absolute chaos at busy periods with dogs barking and yapping at each other while their owners appear oblivious to the fact that their furry friend is driving other customers mad. At our most recent visit it was more like being in a dog kennels with all the barking! Also, the pub's website states that paws must remain on the floor at all times. This rule is blatantly ignored by many dog owners. We even witnessed one couple allowing their dog onto the table! Staff appear to turn a blind eye. This is disgusting. People shouldn't have to sit on seats that have previously been trampled on by muddy paws. Not impressed. Edited to add: Return visit a few days later. This time sat inside as it was pouring down. The place unfortunately had an underlying odour of wet dog! Also, as we were leaving we were horrified to see a couple with their three soggy dogs sat between them on the seats while feeding them from their plates! This was directly opposite the bar, and once again the staff took no notice. Clearly, dog owners are allowed to do whatever they like here with no regard for other customers. I shouldn't have to sit on seats covered in dog hair and mucky paw prints and at a table that has been slobbered all over. We will not be returning. Shame, because we loved this pub.

Maybe we were just unlucky in choosing the pizzas. There was certainly an extensive menu. The staff were pleasant and a reasonable selection of draft beers. The selection of chilled beers was limited. Wines were pricey.

Fish chips were good, decent price. Good service.

Good atmosphere and ok food. Think we were overcharged but stupidly didn't get receipt. Our fault. Food was decent, we had jacket potatoes and fish and chips. It's quite a typical meal for a large pub/restaurant either captive audience.

It was a nice atmosphere and they do serve a good pint. We ordered food and my friends came straight away but mine took an extra 20 minutes. I ordered the chicken burger which was ok, not the best burger I’ve ever had but decent enough.

Absolutely brilliant place for great food and efficient and friendly service. Plenty of seating indoors as well as covered outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome both in and out and they were super accommodating of our two puppies. They’re still getting used to lots of new experiences so it can take them several minutes to settle, but staff and patrons alike were super kind and understanding. We ordered food at the bar. QR codes also enable ordering by phone from the tables which is great for a more accessible and inclusive ordering option. The food was brought to our tables by really lovely staff and I couldn’t believe how quickly it arrived. It was also delicious! This place has really mastered efficient and effective delivery of its core business purpose. I would highly recommend and would absolutely return. We visited in September but I imagine it gets very busy in the peak months.

Can be a bit hit and miss,I live locally so I know it can be good but also have gone and it's been really poor. The fish and chips is a safe bet. It's got a bit pricey recently 2 meals and a garlic bread with 2 coffees cost nearly 50 quid. There are cheaper options in the village.

Simply the best ever vegan pizza! such a tasty,crisp delicious delight! The service very good and the beer fab...but would travel back just for the pizza!

Despite it being a busy afternoon, I managed to get a table and the food did not disappoint. The only downside of the day was that I was too full to try a dessert. Great value for money too.

Food was shocking honestly, I had the chicken burger was so not worth it, partner had the pesto pizza which was quite nice other than that they had no lasagne but ran a lasagne out to another table 30 minutes later. Atmosphere was nice. Would come here for a drink and a few sides that it.

I can say that it was the best chicken I ate in the last 25 years. It was tasty and perfectly cooked with amazing chips and a lovely mix salad. The staff were very professional and fast service.

Food was nice, needed a bit more tzatziki sauce on the lamb burger, personally. No check back while eating and hard to get anyone's attention (we wanted to have our pizza boxed up). Would be back again next time I'm in the area.

After a long day of climbing up and down Snowdon we thought we would go for one more challenge and have the Three Peaks Burger. The Welsh Rarebit sauce was lovely, in fact it was all lovely but it was soooo big that we just couldn’t finish it! Great burger! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Atmosphere is great and a good pint and great staff, plus dogs welcomed which as a dog lover was nice to see. Food however is ok but pretty mediocre. My lasagna was mince meat mixed with tomato, a sheet of pasta and nearly a cm of cheese (no béchamel)! Needless to say Ive had a pretty rough night. My own fault as I should have returned it. Sides (chips and onion rings). Both cold, although fairly tasty.

Really lovely find! Unusual seating and outdoor veranda with beautiful wisteria flowers trailing along. Nifty at table ordering system that worked really well. We ordered a chilli with half chios half rice and a superfood salad topped with falafel. All the food was really good. Chips were tasty if a little cold.

Everything was very nice, BUT the same dish was different on the second day , inconsistency, still delicious but portions smaller and items missing .

Didn't manage to get a table on this visit 🙃 as it was so incredibly busy. But all other visits have been okay to good.

Everytime I've called to Bettws I seem to find myself wandering into the stables for food and a cheeky pint. The service was fantastic as always and the outdoor area is a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding national park while having lunch.

Good place to sit. The menus were too dirty to handle and the table was greasy. The food was quite good. The app to order food was not working properly.

Looks can be deceiving as whilst it looks appealing from the outside, many elements are beyond acceptable. The food is okay, but the service is terrible, even though all staff interface is the same process as Wetherspoons. Despite asking repeatedly for our table to be cleaned, it took several attempts to actually get somebody to do so. Despite it being wiped, I spent the rest of the time sticking to the table surface. Because there is no reservations or a front of house manager, at busy times customers stand around the tables waiting for you to finish.

We’ve eaten here a several times during our stay at Craig-y-Dderwen, finding it more fun with lively music and on-the-ball staff. The food has been great.

Excellent place to visit in Betws Y Coed. It's in the centre and everyone heads there. The food was good and reasonably priced. You can order from your table (if you are lucky enough to get one as its always busy) or you can go into the bar to order.

Went out for a Birthday Meal With the Other half, staff are Great table Service a Bit Slow took our Drinks to a Wrong table 2 times, had Chicken tikka What was Nice Other half had Scampi ahe Enjoyed.. Expensive forthe Portion Size but nice overall. Now when it came to paying £7 for Bread and Butter pudding you Expect a Decent amount in the Bowl... Was i wrong The Portion Size was minut (See Photo) it wouldnt fill a Toddler and for the Price it was Horrendous cold from the Fridge Tried to Re heat in the Microwave that left hot spots All over where it was Half Warmed up. The Atmosphere was like a Funeral Home Even tho it was Busy. Staff walking About Looking Gormless lost havent for wea Clue what to Do..not Clearing tables when Customers have Finished Leaving Empty Glasses when bringing Fresh Drinks.. Embarrassing to say Wetherspoons have better Staff than here atleast they smile and Clear tables/wipe them Down after Previous Customers have left..

I had the chicken curry with chips and rice! The cut of chip is the best I've ever had! The fact that the curry is made fresh for each portion is brilliant! My boyfriend had the dragon burger, and he said it was cooked to perfection! I will definitely be recommending this place when eating in Betws-y-coed.

Visiting North Wales from NZ and we ate here 5y ago and have just had a meal today. Our family had the Fish and Chips, Creamy Chicken Pasta, Half Chicken and the ribs and between the 4 of us we couldn't decide who had the best meal! All 4 plates were stunning and we couldn't stop pinching mouthfuls from each other 😅 Please note the 4 x empty plates in the Pic.....a rare occurrence with 2 x pre teen boys 😅 Special mention to the half Chicken. We have no idea how you managed to get so much flavour into it and it has to have been the most tender and moist chook we have ever had. The service was quick and friendly and there is plenty of parking even in the summer holidays. See you in another 2-3 years I guess when we are next back x

A pub in a tourist hotspot which still just about maintains a sense of identity without going down the rabbit hole of existing only to extract money from tourists. Good food at fair prices and a fabulous outside area. Service is fast and efficient even when busy.

I was really surprised that the serving is massive and price us reasonable also service is quick. I did enjoy the chilli con carne and the warm chocolate cake with ice cream. I Recommen this place.

Good stop off when travelling across Wales. Very busy and couldn't get a table outside or in, but don't give up, keep sauntering round and usually you drop on people leaving. We had two dogs with us and were welcome to sit inside or out. We ordered at the bar and given 20 mins wait time, our food was with us within ten. Food was good, but defo not wow, but this place is so busy they are probably happy with how they do things. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The food was ok but the table was dirty AF and you could find a lot of stuff around the tables on the floor which was a surprise for a busy and well-known restaurant like that. The price was mid to high, but all the restaurants nowadays charge like that. It was a lovely afternoon for us and we enjoyed it.

Food was good overall, but let down by portion size. Superfood salad with quinoa was super small considering it was almost the same price as burger and chips. The extra chicken we ordered for one of the superfood salads was extremely bland. Chips served with the other meals were not the greatest. Good beer (Nokota session IPA) from Wild Horse brewery in Llandudno. Very convenient digital ordering system.

Normally a wonderful place where we have been several times. The quality of the food this time was unfortunately very poor compared to a few months ago. Spareribs really didn't taste good and there was a lot of gristle in them. Shame!
