Amazing experience at XOXO! The atmosphere was inviting, and the steak was cooked to perfection—juicy and full of flavour. The staff offered great recommendations, making our meal even more enjoyable.

Absolute joy of a steak. Lovely food. Food prices were good, drinks were a bit pricey, but all in all a fabulous place to eat. Service was great. Friendly, attentive, but not in your face. Anticipated kids needs well. Highly recommended! Go here!!

We had the delight in visiting XOXO and it was absolutely amazing. Nicely tucked away and still in the city center, we were greeted immediately upon entering. We head booked a table for our anniversary and so glad we did, as it got busy whilst we were there. We were politely shown to our table, the restaurant was clean, ambience was lovely. Not too loud, lighting was just right. Decor in general was pleasant. We ordered our steak meal, staring with the buffalo wings and a couple of mocktails. The watermelon mojito and strawberry mojito was amazing. They use dry ice which provides great presentation, nice and fresh, very impressive to start with. The starters came out in good time, wings were nice and tender, with delightful seasoning and a layer of buffalo hot sauce. Presentation was good and taste was even better. Fantastic start to the evening. Shortly after our mains came out. T bone steak with chips and a side of peppercorn sauce. I was absolutely taken away, the size of the steak was not just big, but a nice chunk, it looked amazing. The presentation was superb, and the fries were very unique. Our mouthes watering we could not wait to tuck in. We opted for medium, and it was cooked to perfection. Every cut, every bite was delicious and the sauce was beautiful! Great combination with the chips. Half way through I was full, but wanted to keep eating away! Whilst we were deciding on desert at the start, we were so full from the mains we did not order desert, however as it was our anniversary, they very kindly brought out their signature brownie with ice cream accompanied with a sparkler. We were so grateful and completely taken away. It was an anniversary gift from the restaurant. To top it off, the brownie desert was the absolute best brownie we had ever had! XOXO really is one of the best meals we have ever had. Highly recommended!

Food was mediocre which was incredibly disappointing considering the previous recommendations. Steak meat was tough and hard to both cut and chew through, the ribs meat was essentially none existent and there was a lack of sides available for people with sensory issues. Service was however relatively good for the most part. Not a £70 dining experience and won't be visiting again.

The food was really nice I had the classic burger and chips and the chips were light , fluffy and chrispy fresh chips.

Went for my daughters 18th but tbh didn’t realise it’s an alcohol free or halal restaurant so was a bit of a disappointment at first that we couldn’t toast her birthday & we did debate whether to go elsewhere but stayed anyway. The staff were polite & helpful & the food was very tasty.

I am living in Peterborough for sometime now and always looking for delicious dine outs but this place was somehow invisible for me and one of the reason is that it's away from main street location but I finally landed there today and ordered Grill Chicken Burger🍔 with Fries and I can say hand on my heart that it was one of the finest piece of grill chicken with good portion size but for me the highlight was the Fries🍟 and they were crunchy and flavourful. Recently visited here for dinner and the food was great value and taste. The staff were kind , helpful and accommodating. Environment was nice as well. The only change I would make is - we were brought our burgers on slates which was not ideal, however when we asked for a plate we quickly had one bought over without issue. Would definitely visit again.

Screaming child was the least of my problems. Steak was inedible with how tough it was, pulled rib burger was cold. Nobody bothered to even ask how my meal was.

Small place tucked away. Food was absolutely lovely. Chilli sauce was too spicy i could hardly touch it! I know that sounds cliche but it was seriously so hot. The chicken skewers were so good 10/10 with the rice and salad. Service was okay a little slow but friendly.

I had the dirty fries and pompeii burger. The fries were hot n delicious, but I didn't like the bbq sauce, it was too sweet for my personal taste. The burger was absolutely banging...hot n spicy.

Very brilliant meal out. They do not serve alcohol but totally worth it and you do not need it. They serve other options of drinks. Very tasty. Burgers delicious. Prices vary on what you have. Very cute birthday firework afterwards. I will be back!

Very good restaurant. It's a shame it's tucked away in a side street away from foot traffic because both the food and the service are excellent. When you visit, order a mint tea. It is made the way mint tea should be made.

Best burger I’ve had in a long time

Really nice food, recommend the burger platter if you're going as a family. Starter sharing platter is also lovely, succulent wings and lamb chops.

Not offensive - but nothing special.

Food was just okay chicken was tough, chips were undercooked and tasted peculiar and bland. Service was okay but slow. No atmosphere, dirty and over priced for what it is.

Staff friendly, ambience good, starters amazing, cold drinks all very warm, salmon and sweet potato fries both burnt to the point of being mainly inedible, 2 steaks like rubber and ‘sauces’ like water. Advised waiter he just smiled and cleared plates

Food is absolutely amazing. I've been 3 times and can't fault it staff are friendly and service is great. For the price you get really good quality food can't fault it chips are good mash is great and the steak is banging.100% would recommend.

I am dissapointed.. I asked for mash and instead of mash potatoes they send salad.

Restaurant extended the delivery time probably due to being busy. Food arrived over 30 minutes late drom leaving the restaurant. Driver said car broke down but was on a pushbike. He wasn’t very helpful and sadly food was cold and soggy.

Excellent choice of food, well presented by attentive staff. The steak was cooked well, the burgers were tasty. The fajitas were also exceptional. All for a reasonable price. I will definitely go back again

Visited this restaurant for an early lunch Service was quick and efficient (we pre ordered our food in advance) Food tasted amazing! Espically the honeycomb cheesecake, talk about devine! 1 star lost due to price (more expensive than I anticipated) and a friend pre ordered a desert only for the desert to be sold out.

Visited last Saturday evening for a family meal on arrival had a very warm welcome, we were seated in a spacious area which was wheelchair friendly ,our order was taken by by Azair who had really good knowledge of the dishes on the menu and he was able to provide recommendations (alway a bonus) ,the food followed in perfect fashion we had the right amount of time between the courses This is the 1st time ive visited Xoxo Grill, amazing food cooked to perfection amazing service 10/10 😍 looking forward to visit again soon

There was couple downside like waiting for booked table almost 30 minutes. Waiting for food was not so bad as was quite big group of us. The hamburgers size are quite small , and I eat on the plate like on some fancy slab. The service was really nice and friendly , nice atmosphere and there no alcohol served which is quite nice.

I notmally do not moan but I ordered several times from Xoxo grill house many times from Just Eat. The restaurant informs me they do not ask for delivery drivers contact number which they should. This is in case the customer rings up however, worst part is i waited over two hours to enjoy my food for party and drivers just. Eat use get lost never follow instructions as they can hardly speak English but the food never turned up but say delivered when it hasn't . I can only email just eat but when asking the restaurant they were rude denying any wrong doing saying it out their control which is understandable but in all fairemess they should keep contact for driver who picks up food in case of emergency. Just eat driver never rang me but it disgraceful as no food but restaurant rude behaviour. Next time i will not order again as this third time this happened. I used other fast food who use just eat, ubereats and hungry house and never had a problem. I writing this as felt xoxo grill would have learnt to improve their services which they have not. I was left with no food a ruined party for special birthday for family who just got back from hospital suffering serious illnesses and was lucky to be alive. If i could a minus rating i would as they told me last time they would improve their delievery services and they not. Sometimes it hard to dine in but xoxo should be responsible for taking contact for delievery drivers as the restaurant could accidentally miss an item what they going to do ring just eat when it closed or wait hour on the phone so they relay communication this disgraceful. The rudeness of the person who answered the phone surprises me how he got the job as he has no people skills at all. Left my family member in tears as i had to go get take-out which was not the same. They had my contact number yet no one rang me.

We came to XOXO on Saturday early evening. It was for a special occasion and there was 8 of us altogether. Some of the staff were poorly, so they were short staffed but it didn’t show. The chef cooked us all brilliant meals, even when my steak was unfortunately a bad piece they were quick to cook a whole fresh meal for me. Azair was serving us and was so hospitable, eager to check we were okay and enjoying everything and just generally lovely. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back when we’re next in Peterborough!

Staff were really friendly and food was delicious, we were celebrating my friends birthday and they bought her a cheesecake as a surprise for free. Definately reccomend it, its very popular so I would book a table.

I went here for my birthday in September with my partner and it was amazing! Really good food and fast service. It's a hidden gem down an alleyway within Peterborough and it's just so good. Would definitely recommend. It's a quiet place as obviously no one really knows about it, but definitely worth a visit. Just great food all around but be aware that they do not serve alcohol. Featured in my photos is a mocktail that was just as good. I believe this place to be the perfect place for couples and parties to eat at. Highly recommended.

Decided to visit here on a trip to Peterborough with the kids and we all had a great meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was brilliant. I had a XOXO classic burger which was full of flavour along with house fries which are nice skin on fries in an interesting shape.

Great food, great staff (very friendly and nice and always accommodating). Would recommend their grilled chicken and fries! The only downside is the space as it’s quite small and cramped.

We booked in advance, and im glad we did as it's quite a small restaurant with only a few tables. No alcohol on the menu and the soft drinks are expensive! £2.99 for a small bottle of coke and you get that with a straw (no glasses offered). this meant my coke kept fizzing over so I had to remove the straw and drink out of the bottle...nice! There is a large amount to order from the menu. The steak was cooked perfectly and we liked the fact that your side and sauce gets included, other restaurants charge you separately for each item. The peppercorn and mushroom sauce with the steak was really delicious. The food overall was tasty, but its a bit of a wait for the food to come out. The staff was friendly and helpful

Friendly attentive staff and excellent food. Lamb chop and Hot wing starters followed by the Rump and T Bone steak which were cooked exactly as requested. We went on a Tuesday and it was quiet but that was fine. No alcohol but it's all about the food experience with XOXO and the Blind Tiger is next door and we stopped for a pint afterwards. We would definitely go back.

waited two and half hours and what did I get? cold dry food, absolutely disgusting quality couldn't eat it. Gone into the bin. Very unhappy, will never order from this place again.

Our waiter Azair was very caring and catered to me and my partner well and even though we were quite indecisive 😂. The lunch menu has amazing value. I’d recommend the Angus beef burger but the buffalo wings are the a bit too tangy/salty for my liking 8.5/10 overall! Very happy with my experience

Update: my fave steak house in Peterborough. Way better than Middletown’s!! Searched for a restaurant serving steak, found this little hideout in Peterborough Centre. Cute space, steak was absolutely cooked to how I wanted; portion was perfect for the steak for 1 person, friendly customer service & staff. No direct parking, find a nearby car park.

We decided to go here as it looked quite nice and tucked out the way. We booked in advance although when we arrived we were the only ones there for a while. It soon filled up later on. The staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. I had a cherry daiquiri to drink, and the presentation is great and it tasted nice.. it was just in a slush type form, so it wasn’t quite the “drink” i was expecting.. as I couldn’t drink it - but it was really nice and good either way! We had a tear and share garlic bread for starter, which I’d definitely recommend, it was light and tasty. I then had the XOXO classic house burger with a side of chips. It was really good, presentation was on point, and the stamped brand logo on the bun makes it feel unique! The food was fresh, tasty and really nice. I’d highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic food, I can highly recommend the lamb chop starter & the steaks. My colleague loved his Burj Kalifa buger. They have some cool milkshakes as well. The staff are great too. It was so good I booked a table for the following week before I left (as it's not a very big place).

My steak was tasty. Grilled correctly but had two grizzle strips and 40% could not be eaten due to fat. The cold mashed potatoes were very tasty. A very tiny salad was included. The hamburger meat was very good but we ordered with raw onion and did not receive that or any condiments but to pickles. Overall not impressed.

How great is this place!!! The food is delicious. Nothing was too much for the staff and so friendly. In fact the atmosphere was warm and inviting. This place is an absolute treat.

I visited here for the first time with my partner and my niece. I was unsure what it would be like as it looks small. I’m also a vegetarian so going to a smokehouse I thought I’d have minimal choice but I was wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The garlic bread was 👌🏻, my partner and niece each had chickens wings which they also enjoyed. For mains I had the halloumi burger, it was very nice indeed! The others had t bone steak and rump. Again, it was thoroughly enjoyable. The biggest part for me though, is customer service. You can eat somewhere, and the service is awful which makes you never want to return. However, the staff here (all of them!) were so friendly and welcoming. They didn’t rush you and you felt looked after. The atmosphere was lovely too. I liked the fact it was small, and loved the fact they did not serve alcohol, it seemed to make the ambience that much better. Well, in my opinion anyway. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I recommend to family, friends, colleagues, meat eaters and vegetarians? Without a doubt. Last, but not at all least. A compliment to the person who always gets left out……the chef! The food was perfectly and beautifully cooked. My partner is a chef too and complimented on how great your food was. Thank you again for a lovely night, we will be back again……..soon!
