Had a table booked with family when we got there no booking, it took 2 hours to get food, which when arrived was dreadful, the waitress stood at top of table handing g cutlery out instead of walking round table she was never seen again! After 1.5 hours the young lad came out as one of the meals ordered they didn’t have, pizza topping on chips was cold. The prices were sky high my daughters came to £71 for them and thier 4 yr old daughter, no wonder it was empty on a Saturday night. They also took the reviews off fb and blocked some who complained

The service was excellent. Unfortunately we were the only diners so atmosphere difficult to judge. The food was great after my steak was returned once as it was too red for a medium cooked. The bill for 2 people was £84 so not cheap and cheerful Second night I ate beef & ale pie and the filling was excellent super tasty which was served with chips. This dish was only £10.50 and worth every penny. Breakfast was prepared to order and really good.

Terrible food. Half of the meal came out 20 minutes after we started eating. Two of the meals on the table were cold. I felt sorry for the waitress who had to apologize so many times to all the tables who were dining.

Attending a gig at The Pavillion, called in Worth Your Salt for our evening meal. Excellent burgers, very reasonably priced and very pleasant staff. We will definitely eat there again when in Llandrindod Wells and would recommend.

Wanted something a bit 'different' for a takeaway. Should have known there was going to be problems. The girls serving seems distracted and not sure what they where doing. Struggled to comprehend basic questions about the food and wasn't sure on how to change the order to suit. And as such once we got home we found they had got the order wrong. The 'french fries' where stone cold and undercooked. But the biggest problem was the Burger . Totally trying to be something is wasn't. It was so salty we couldn't eat them. Horrid. The buns where falling apart and everything just slid out. . To top it all I found quite a few bits of broken white plastic in the burger . So it was contaminated anyway. Also had a Chorizo starter. Just dried up over cooked bit of something on a soggy lettuce leaf. Just no. Should have carried on a bit and gone to Burger King. Not sure if its the location because the Chinese that was there before was also very bad.

Called in on a two day break in Builth. Food was so good went back the next day

New in area and came here for dinner with my friends. Waitress was lovely and service was great. Although the food was terrible- hair in my burger, pulled pork was extremely fatty, and overall all the food did not taste right. As we have come home, we are feeling very sick. Disappointed to say the least. £80 and the food was hardly touched. Not worth the money.

57 minutes for my 6 nations to turn up Followed a table of 4 in . They have finished there starter and main by time mine turned No apology, even a couple who came in 15 minutes after me got there starter and finished before my meal turned Not a busy nite on Wednesday with a dozen people in .

I took my partner here for a date and was really looking forward to eating here since it's reopening however I was very disappointed, upon entering we were greeted and sat, the tables were sticky, we had our drinks order taken and then our food, there was 1 table in before us and our food took over 45 minutes to get to us, on a Saturday with no other customers which was very suspicious to us. When the food got to us the portion sizes weren't very big so we thought, right it must be quality based, it was not, I did not finish any of my dishes and my partner ate all of her steak but only because we were so hungry since we waited a long time for our food to arrive, way way way too much salt on everything, chewy cheesy salt, I could not taste the beef in the burger I had ordered, we paid £60 to have a date night ruined. The waitresses did not ask us any question about us sending back so much food which implies it happens often, I have not left a restaurant so fast, 10 minutes later it had already worked it's way through my digestive system, I will not be recommending this place to anyone ever.

Would not come here again. We came on a Saturday afternoon and their was only one table being served at the time which was a little suspicious, but we decided to proceed and that was our first mistake! Food was way too salty, it should be up to the customer to add their own salt to their taste but that is not the case with this place. Waited nearly an hour for food and when it arrived it wasn't hot. Another couple came in after us and recieved their food faster which made me very angry. The pricing of this place does not match the quality, definitely overpriced. Do not recommend and do not understand why it has such a high rating!

Got caught up with the hype locally but it didn’t quite live up to its promise. Arrival was great drinks and orders taken. Food arrived minus a few dishes and we had to wait to eat. My burger was their signature dish and was quite plain with a salty taste (maybe in the name). There was no sweetness to balance the flavours so I wouldn’t rate it as the best I’ve had. No ketchup or mustard was offered. The skin on fries are just fries, however the deep fried gherkins are delicious. The onion rings when they arrived were crispy and cooked well. I love a burger but I wouldn’t go back. My mate had the fish and fries and wasn’t overly impressed. Shame as it looked good on paper.

Speak as you find. We enjoyed our experience. The waitress was amazing. Bright, cheerful and welcoming. The food was simple, well cooked and good value for money. The back story. We were staying in bed a breakfast. The recomnended a local pub which we were not impressed with at all. A local customer told is that Llandrindod Wells is a bit of a culinary desert. Not many eating in places. So, we ordered drinks but not food Frank up (not very good beer) booked into the Brasserie at the Metropole and left. However, we had a dog with us and as the Metropole don't allow dogs and won't serve food outside, one of us agreed to sit in the lounge with the dog whilst the others ate. Not a good arrangement. On our way to the Metropole we spotted what looked like a cafe/restaurant - Worth Your Salt and enquired within whether we could bring in our dog. Most certainly came the reply and so in here we could all be together including the dog. So in we went. The place was almost empty but nevertheless we decided to proceed and order some food. I had a rib eye steak, the others steak pie and quiches. Despite it being quiet, the food was good and the waitress was extremely pleasant and accommodating making our experience all the better and all in all we agreed that we made the right choice. We would definitely eat there again.

Excellent food. Nine of us in a group and everyone's meals absolutely delicious and plentiful. Look forward to next visit.

Had a home delivery, the burgers are actually amazing. Will definitely be ordering again. Fair play!

Staff where superb Truffle chips where device

Had a very nice lunch, food was great can recommend the slow roast full rack of ribs, husband steak which was cooked perfectly...😋. The service was good and very cheerful and welcoming... Looking forward to going back again 😁

Arrived whilst a lot of takeaway customers were present, a Friday evening. Quick to serve drinks and take order but had to wait almost an hour for the ribs. Unfortunately they were overcooked and dry. A shame as had high hopes of a good meal. Friendly staff, just need for the kitchen to balance takeaways with dine in a bit better.

Terrible service, arrived sat down waited over 15mins, then I had to ask someone if they would like to take a drinks order said may aswell take food order too whilst there, waited over 20 more mins after order taken still no drinks yet 2 other tables had drinks order taken and drinks on the table and another table arrived after us and had cutlery we hadn't even have that, table next to us then ordered cocktails and got them so that was it we left, shame I was looking forward to doing a food review on this place definitely won't be featuring now. Instead ended up in Fabian's down the road and what a burger I had succulent perfect blue cheese accompaniment to it fries were crisp and fresh. Stopped in for lunch, as we were in Llandrindod Wells. Can highly recommend Worth Your Salt and in particular, The Big Bird burger. Also the Aspen fries are delicious! No problem getting a table, service was great and the food arrived really quickly.

I have rang Worth your Salt in two separate occasions and on both there has been an extremely rude lady answering the phone. Enough to put me off ever returning. Very poor customer service and we will no longer be referring our holiday let guests to this establishment.

I absolutely love gourmet burgers, I however was not impressed both times I visited. The staff were rude and lacking in customer service and the food was poor. I recommend you got to the hills in Brecon, it's so much better.

Beyond Brilliant Burger ... well worth driving out if our way to get here! We opted for the house standard burger and it was sublime - EASILY THE BEST BURGER as far back as I can remember 😋 Perfectly cooked to my Medium Rare request with amazing texture and the freshest of ingredients. This is how I remember beef tasting! Great choice of different toppings and even better range of sides. My partner reckoned the best onion rings they’ve eaten and my special Meatball / Mozzarella / Marinara Fries equally delicious. The only negative ... it is a very long drive from London 😢

The food was amazing. Welsh beef in the burgers which is always nice to see on a menu. Waiting staff, not the friendliest tbf. We had to ask for cutlery. We werent asked how out meals were (not that there was anything wrong with the food. It was superb!). They could smile a bit more rather than come across as if everything was a chore. I would eat here again though.

First time here been meaning to try it for a while as not exactly the sort of place you would expect to find in a small town in Wales. The menu has plenty to offer and the food was excellent and selection of drinks is good too. The bad bit was the service miserable girl serving us and had to ask 3 times for cutlery she was more interested in chatting to another member of staff and customers before bringing some back to the table while we sat with our food in front of us getting cold. Overall a pleasant experience will definitely come back just hope the service improves next time.

Smashing burgers, possibly one of the finest I've eaten. Hot, juicy, not over done like so many places. Huge portions of sides (too big really: fried gherkins were meal sized) I hope this place thrives

Waitress brought wrong drinks first time round. Sweet potato fries were lovely but after 3 bites of my burger I realised it wasn't sauce running over my fingers but was blood. Burger still raw in the middle. Sent it back but lost my appetite so didnt have a replacement. Waitress refused to remove it from my bill as I'd eaten some of it. Eventually took off half the cost of that burger cos I only returned half of it. If I'd known it was raw I'd have sent it all back but didn't know until I got into it. Not good guys.

We’re visiting from down south and saw this place on passing so, after scoping out the menu online, decided to give it a shot. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly and I was drinking my G&T in no time at all. We ordered a burger each and a couple of sides and, frankly, it was spectacular. The other half had pizza fries which he out right refused to share. If you take anything from this review just know that we’re returning tomorrow.

Good menu , great tasting burgers- plenty of variety

Really nice food, quick service and friendly staff. Had the B Train, a double burger with all the bacons - bacon, bacon jam, baconaise and bacon bits! The fries were cooked to perfection! Would recommend and come again.

Superb "naughty" food. Some veggie options that can be veganised but more of a meat-eaters paradise. Huge portions and a fair price. Recommended.

Food was good, service a bit lacklustre.

PROS: really nice food, I've worked there, and I know that it is made to a super high standard. The cleaning is done very well, everyday (urghhhh). They have milkshakes now, and the bar has more options. There is a wheelchair ramp, and accessible toilet. Dogs are allowed at outside tables, water provided. The staff are really nice (biased but true) new management is much better, friendlier too... Sorry not sorry. CONS: there should be more veggie options, currently only 2 main burgers. They neeeeeed to bring back gluten free buns... Card machine is faulty so you may need to nip to the cash machine (directly opposite). Also it is quite expensive, and the portion sizes are smaller than they used to be.

Nice setting, very friendly and efficient staff with a great menu. We both had the house burger which was cooked perfectly and had an amazing sauce, my mouth is watering just writing this. I know they haven’t been open very long but these guys will go far, thanks very much for a great lunch !

Wow. Mega burger. I had a chicken burger then asked for a beef patty on top! Amazing! They had run out of salted caramel for the fries so we got a special concoction sweet potatoes fries! They should consider putting them on the main menu!
