Super Dinner Takeaway in Powys

Horrendus! Got a hand written reciept so there's a blatant tax fiddle Waited so long I forgot what I ordered, and when I got "it" - it was horrible! Words fail me tbh, when you work away you do expect a decent bite to eat after a days work Mite aswel of throw me £18 down the drain

The food is disgusting, I have never had such bad food, I don't recommend it to anyone 😡🤮

Bland food, next to no meat, hard bits in the Naan bread.... 90% went in the bin... scores a 2 for food hygiene and can see why... avoid if you want tasty food and spend elsewhere! No lie but the worse curry I have ever partly eaten 😞

Worst takeaway I've ordered food from, and I've been to a lot, doner kebab and chicken tikka were absolutely disgusting, tiny pieces of under-cooked chicken tikka and re-heated doner meat that was so hard it nearly broke my tooth. I mean it was seriously that bad the dog even refused to eat it. I don't think the chef was a trained chef as he took over 45 minutes to cook a simple meal that a monkey could do. An hour or so after eating a small portion of this food i started feeling quite sick and had an upset stomach,. I would now avoid this place at all costs.

The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered three mains, starters and sides. All of the meat was cooked perfectly tender and was bursting with delicious spices; we felt like we were eating in an authentic curry house when we got home. The kebab starters were very tasty and a lot of thought had gone into the way they had been presented. This was our first time at this restaurant having moved to the area and the food of this restaurant tasted the same as more expensive restaurants you would find in London. The chef cooks the naan bread from scratch using a dough roller and oven right in front of you and you can taste the difference in how fresh it is. We would highly recommend this restaurant. We were surprised that the food was not more expensive due to the quality, preparation and thought that has gone into it. It is not very often you find a chef who makes his food from scratch using real fresh ingredients and where the food is perfectly cooked. A+

I would never order from this place again!! If I could give a 0 out of 5 I would. I ordered a Lamb Korma with garlic rice, some onion chutney and a popadom. Where to start basically..... the rice was dry and bland, I didn't taste any garlic at all. The onion chutney was vile and tasted out of date. The Korma was lumpy, tasteless, contained only 3 small bits of meat and I found bones in the sauce. The only thing edible was the popadom. When I rang up to question them and possibly get a refund, I was told that there couldn't possibly be bones in my food, I had to explain myself 3 times before they had registered what I had said. When I asked for a refund, even just for the Korma, I was told that they didn't do refunds and if I could go there they would offer me something on the house. However after nearly choking on some bones I no longer wanted food, especially not from here. So I have just wasted money on a dinner that is inedible. Please do not order from here!

Disgusting Indian/ kebab takeaway do not use. The kebab was tasteless and burnt most was thrown away. The tarka dhal was tasteless and watery, the “mint sauce “ tasted like lemon cleaning solution. I haven’t had an Indian takeaway this bad before. We are both silly hungry due to the disgusting food. Also how does a takeaway have a 1 hygiene rating, very concerning this was noticed after paying.

Ordered a takeaway tonight as we haven't had one for a couple of years and i can honestly say it was the best Indian meal we had as it was absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and the naans are huge and delicious 😋. We will definitely go back again but leaving it too long this time. Credit to the Super Diner 🥰.

Took some time to cook but the wait is worth it. We had a chicken kebab and a donner kebab best we have had in a long time. Would def come back.

Ordered the set meal for four. Took some time to prepare but well worth the wait. An amazing array of delicious food. Incredible value for money too. Just be prepared and phone ahead for your order. Highly recommend the food here.

When I visited Llandrindod Wells I wasn’t expecting to experience one of the best curries I’ve ever had. I chose lamb jalfrezi with extra added vegetables with rice and chips as recommended by a local. Superbly cooked on a stove in clear view of the counter by friendly and helpful chef. Lovely fresh ingredients and very tasty. It went down a treat. Thank you.

The food there is of such a high level with such a good range not only this but the prices are good and also has some of the most friendly staff that I have ever had a conversation with I highly recommend coming here for food.

Brilliant service quick response and double kebab for £10

After a long walk we decided to take a break and have a cup of coffee and a Welsh cake. Very clean and staff were very pleasant. Good cup of coffee and the Welsh cakes were excellent.

Excellent food in a basic kitchen setting, it's not the spiciest but then mid Wales curry houses have to cater for their customers. They're prepared to do variations straying from the menu and add extra chillies etc to please the palette of those desiring extra heat. Very impressed each time I've ordered here.

30 minutes wait for cold food, the guy didn't even speak Welsh! 3 kebabs for £21 absolute rip off!

Love the food at super diner. Lovely and clean place, very friendly owners and fab being able to watch them cook your food. Really worth a visit.

Bland tasting food, wisecto give it a miss

Went to the superdiner on the 23rd of june for the first time and I honestly say that we really enjoyed the food. Good portions. Naan bread is proper naan better than I ever had. We will definitely be ordering again. 😊

Worst food I have ever eaten - honestly! This is the first time I have ever done a review for a business on Google that was negative but the food tasted like it had gone off so I do feel people need to be warned. I will tend to eat when I am hungry and not be too fussy but it is the only time I have ever thrown away the entire content of a take away in the bin - I did not even think of giving the rice and naan to our chickens. It was not fresh and I was genuinely concerned about the quality for health reasons - the Kashmir curry had black banana pieces in it which I am sure were off and the passanda - well I didn't even go further than smelling it and taking a small taste with a spoon - it did taste rotten. Please don't waste your money and risk your health. I am glad I didn't eat it as what I did try has resulted in a dodgy tummy this morning.
