Woody Joe's in Bradford

Steer clear of this place. Don't know how it's got such good reviews. Ordered pizzas and initially they looked good but tasted below average. But the worst part was what came out the other end. Also somehow got a sore throat followed by a cold. Customer service was good though I just wish they had warned me about the after effects. Good luck to anyone that's ordering from here, trust me you need it.

This is my goto place for food. By far the best restaurant in Bradford. Food quality is not only 5 star the consistency is amazing. Ran by a true gentleman keep up the amazing work

Fresh food, ordered pizza 4/5, calzone 4/5 , chops 5/5, loaded chips 3/5, mozarella sticks 5/5 A couple of issues withthe service as they seem to have untrained staff but very polite. Owner/manager was quick to come out and correct.

Edited Review: Udpate: after 2 years I have seen the owner change their demeanor and has become a much better customer facing representation of the business. It's a great turn around seeing this change. Also the food has kept up the quality consistently and is a great example of care in thee food presented. The bad (OLD REVIEW): The owner has very bad behaviour for an owner, till handler and restaurant representative. He does not like questions, challenges, remarks or comments. I've seen others and actually asked some questions of my own and seen his unprofessional behaviour first hand. He is snappy, sarcastic and rude towards customers who query things. He also didn't hold back to insult the elderly who had questions as well, I've worked customer facing roles and this isn't how you handle a business. The good: The food here is tasty and is Italian stone baked style.

We ordered the pizza, mango lime chicken, beef burger and loaded fries. I’ve got to say that yes service was brilliant and fast. I would just add that napkins and cutlery should be put on table faster. We found the pizza 🍕 were awesome 9/10, chicken again 9/10, burger was 7/10 and the loaded fries 7/10. A nice touch was the complimentary water and lovely owner who was polite and respectful. Definitely worth a visit and prices are very reasonable.

Food looks good but tastes average. It is very reasonably priced especially in today's climate and the portions are huge. I don't think i'd ever go back but would say it's worth a try.

Really upset.. we used to love Woody Joe's but a few weeks ago we ordered on Uber the food was extremely disappointing, cold and messy. The owners are really nice and service usually is on point but sadly the quality of the food has declined

Absolute fantastic and what a treat. We ordered a 14 inch pizza meaty Joe and half a chicken mango and lime I believe. The chicken was so good we had to order another portion. Incredible food, incredible service and incredible value for money. The owner I believe has set a bench mark for alot of places. I mean a big 750ml glass of irn bru for £3.50 and reasonably good food for value. He's not only a business man but a true giver to the community.

I got the meaty Joe and I got my son chicken burger. We both enjoyed our meals. Can’t fault it.

"Visited Woody Joe's today, and while the place was clean and tidy mashallah, the experience left a lot to be desired. The food was just okay—not bad, but certainly not great, especially for the price, which felt pretty steep for what we got. The atmosphere also felt uncomfortable, as the wait staff were constantly watching us, which didn’t give us much privacy or let us relax. Overall, I wouldn't say it's worth the price or a repeat visit."

Chips were nice but a bit warm when they came out The fish burger was crunchy outside, and the fish was soft. The cheese wasn't melted but I can't complain Overall a good meal alhamdulillah 4/5

So we thought we would try out Woody Joe's, we ordered a couple of pizzas which were ok, 3 burgers which weren't very good, the beef was very rubbery and the cheese was so chewy that it felt like gum in your mouth. I did have a sore stomach the next day and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Tried this place today, food was spot on, staff was amazing and very reasonably priced. Mix platter is well recommended. Will try again in the near future

The stone baked pizzas are lovely! My favourite though is the shredded steak meal, especially the mixed one! Mix of meat, vegetables, cheese and chips! Delicious!

First time dining there, not very pleased with it. The place is too small and gets very busy and crowded. The toilets are located in an odd place near the seating area and its not nice when people are in and out. Not a pleasant smell. Food was nice and the customer service was very friendly.

My recent visit to the eatery left me with mixed feelings. While the standard chips were just average and the shredding loaded chips didn't quite hit the mark, the pizza was decent but lacked a bit more flavor to make it truly memorable. On the bright side, the peri wings were a standout - flavorful, juicy, and simply delicious. The friendly service definitely added to the experience. With some tweaks to the menu, this place has the potential to shine even brighter. Give the peri wings a try!

First time I tried Woody Joe's and the service is the best I've ever received. The brother wearing a Palestine shirt greeted us as soon as we entered and provided great service throughout preemptively providing the help / assistance we required before we had to ask for it. An example being that the air con was directly at us and he noticed that we were getting cold so redirected it and offered to turn it off. He also confirmed that they are offering alternatives to any products on the boycott list which is great to see from a local business, taking the initiative to do what's right for humanity. The food was on point and portions large so I took half my dish home to eat the following day. Will definitely be going here again purely due to the service provided. Felt more like a family environment rather than your typical experience in Bradford. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

I had a Blazing peri peri pizza and the wood fired crust was so good. Coming to the toppings, it was tasty but not really up there. The service was nice and the overall ambience is satisfactory. A bit pricey for what it offers imo (wouldn’t say overpriced).

Every now and again after an exhausting football game I come here with my mates and the food here is always on point and the service is always excellent the brother always has a laugh with me makes my day every time I visit the shop💯… the atmosphere is amazing. Been here plenty times and mashaallah what a gem of a little shop.. Owner is a top guy! Rapid service! Food is ALWAYS 10/10 and quality has been consistent each time unlike other places where one days a hit and one days a miss.. Sharing platter is a must! And pizzas are nice.. Basically if you are in the area and you dont come to Woody Joes you need to see a psychiatrist, and you might as well go private cause the NHS aint gonna be able to fix you.. Get here ASAP

Good food with excellent service.

Went in yesterday, I dont usually eat out, but they were very attentive and considerate when I mentioned what I could and can't eat. They recommend a grilled chicken salad, not usually a salad person, but this meal completely flipped my perspective on salads haha. Would always recommend if you prefer a bit more of a healthier meal. I wish all the best to the restaurant, and may Allah SWT bless all who work there. :)

i have been here a few times now , the service is on point right from th ewaiting staff to the chefs and the manager Harry , all very welcoming. the food is nice and fresh has always come out hot and is delicious too (get the sharing platters ) they are amazing as are the pizzas and the burgers ! great value for money which in this day and age is rare . would defo recommend and will be going back in the very near future

This place is a gem. I never go to restaurants that do this type of food but this was my 2nd visit in 2 weeks. Called in from oldham on the way on a friday and the owner said he will keep us a table. Arrived table was ready even tho it was super busy in there. Customer service 10 out of 10. Food 11 out of 10. Never get cheese pizza but the 4 cheese pizza is out of this world. The mixed platter for 2 amazing. Best thing about all this famoly of 4. 2 being kids 33 quid. Cheap cheap cheap for good quality food cannot go wrong. Owner has a smile on his face all the time. Allah increase the barrakah in his business even more. Wish they get a bigger place so they can fit more people

Brilliant, friendly service. Large portions. The only reason we have repeatedly visited here, was that it was HMC approved. Thankfully was not disappointed. Pizza is as good as it gets!

Went here with a PWS for tea as he fancied pizza and I Googled pizza restaurants near me and it came up. I looked at the reviews and it looked good so we went. Food fantastic 👍I ordered the small platter which consists of half a chicken, 1 chicken wing, 1 lamb chop, chips, salad, coleslaw and potato salad at £12.99 it was great value for money and definitely not small there was plenty of lovely delicious food. PWS ordered a meatball pizza which was £11.99 and again large, a thin and crispy 14" base - massive! I can't comment on the taste as I didn't eat it but the PWS said he liked it- we took half home in a box as too big to finish by 1 person. The chicken and lamb on my platter was beautifully cooked - juicy, flavourful charred perfectly one of the best grilled platters I have ever had. Downside was the lack of parking. No diet drinks available either so I had water instead (generously given free of charge). Would highly recommend trying this place.

I had a full sharing plater which was good value for money. Chicken, lamb chops and beef strips cooked to perfection. Accompanied by artisan pizza with a thin crust and had a decent amount of topping, cooked to perfection.

7.99 for a cheese burger what a joke it was would of bin better putting a russler burger in the microwave worst burger i have had didn't eat any of it what a waste of money never again

I love this place and so do my wife n kids. Haroon who runs it is such a humble polite caring man and he has a young member of staff called Ubaid who walks it there daily from bd7 and is lovely bless him. The food and service is always on point. I highly recommend this place i am actually going again tomorrow

Good food, I went there yesterday, food was delicious and served on time. The service was exceptional, the young lad who waited on us was professional and certainly a credit to Woody Joes. Even though, I live in Bolton, I can see myself visiting Bradford just to eat here again. Allot of other pop up restaurants and diners can learn a thing or two from Woody Joes, they've certainly written the blueprint for good food and mastered the art of customer service skills. These brothers deserve all of Allah's blessings and barakah, Ameen.
