Stopped off for breakfast and ordered today’s toastie. It was very tasty but felt deep fried rather than toasted. May have been because of the large quantity of cheese. Service was very friendly and felt very covid safe. Ps: also very dog friendly.

Came across this Company after reading an article via the Independent about the best 14 Coffee brands worth getting out of bed for and wow wee it is absolutely to die for. I would have never stumbled across this great Company otherwise. Super fast delivery (especially during these COVID times) and the end product is amazing out of my french press. Have only sampled the Burundi range so far however i am seriously impressed and have already ordered more. Would highly recommend to any Coffee enthusiast out there. Top job Wood Street Coffee!

I’m very Disappointed with our visit today. I’ve heard such good reviews from friends, about this place. The indoor space has a lovely quirky, airy, industrial feel and there is an ample amount of seating outside. For a Friday morning the cafe was very busy with mostly Singleton, freelances on laptops. Non of which looked up or thought to move from a table to a side stool and bar seating arrangement for a family of 3 adults and 2 small children. The staff were friendly and food was Ok but very pricey. 2 eggs on 1slice on toast, 2slices of gluten free toast and avocado, 1 herbal tea and a juice cost just over £16.00. Gluten free toast and avocado was the only celiac (ve/gf) option for me and no alternative ve/gf milk option, either. I nelt on the floor for our intire meal/experience, while my 2 children, mum and sister perched/squeezed onto a sofa and we all ate off small stools, as tables. My 2 year old embarrassingly knocked one of the stools over, complete with glasses and crockery...The staff were very kind and I’m grateful they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable, at all. I can’t say I’ll be hurrying back, any time soon.

Came here for brunch with friends on a hungover Sunday. I don’t got out for breakfast/brunch that often as it can be a bit disappointing and I always feel like I’ve been ripped off. However, Wood Street was far from disappointing. I had the eggs Benedict but with pork belly and it was delicious, eggs cooked perfectly and just the right amount of seasoning. Coffee and freshly squeezed juice were also lovely. At £30 for two people it isn’t exactly cheap, but I’d say it’s definitely worth the price for the quality of the food. Service was friendly, efficient and attentive, even though they were quite busy. Will definitely be returning.

This cafe is attached to a woodwork studio, which hosts workshops and fosters woodcraft skills in the community. The artisan principles extend to the cafe, which is designed and fitted out with a brilliant sense of colour and layout. The barista is a perfectionist who provides training to others in the trade. Great lunches, breakfasts.

Went at 10am on a Sunday and had the veggie breakfast stack. My boyfriend had the homemade beans on sourdough toast with extra chorizo/poached egg. Delicious and perfectly cooked food, good coffee and friendly staff. Plenty of interesting veggie options on the menu. The room is light and airy and lovely to be in. By the time we left it had filled up completely so would advise getting there early!

Wood St Coffee is hidden indeed, not being near Wood Street anymore but nestled among industrial units around Blackhorse Road. From the outside you may not be inspired by the yard but head inside and things improve greatly. It is next to a wood and metal workshop where, if you're into DIY, you can make things with guidance from staff there. On my visit, you could even buy hard woods grown in London - all looked gorgeous and a thousand times better than laminate wood. Wood St Coffee has cleverly positioned itself as part of the community of makers in Walthamstow and they certainly make superb coffees, amongst the best you can find in the town. I had a slice of the carrot cake which tasted almost healthy but pleasingly sweet as well. If you live in Walthamstow, seek Wood St Coffee out at once if you haven't already! If you have been, go again! It's marvellous.

Great place for popping into with a buggy for a quick coffee. Really nice cake selection, I had a pastry which seemed home-made and very fresh. Coffee lovely - just not in a big enough mug :) Toilets really clean and staff very friendly.

GREAT DESSERTS- always get birthday cakes from here. the staff is nice and i have never had a problem with how delicious the cakes were. i love how they sell cake slices to be able to taste the cakes or just as a little treat. the cakes are always moist and stay good for days after buying. the one time i had a problem they resolved it very quick and i was so very happy. the staff is friendly. everything is reasonably priced we have been going for year and will definitely be coming back for as long as they’re open!

I’d been meaning to visit for a while as a colleague had kindly brought me breakfast to work from The Valley Cafe a few times and it had been a real treat. I’m now kicking myself I didn’t visit sooner! A lovely atmosphere, delightful and swift service and a really delicious breakfast baguette and coffee. I highly recommend a sausage, egg & black pudding baguette (there is a choice of fillings) and the produce is excellent quality and value for money. There’s plenty of free parking, too. Looking forward to a lunch visit soon. Thank you to The Valley Cafe.
