Wong's in St. Helens

We don't really do takeaways but decided tonight to try a Chinese which is local to us..My husband rang the order through and picked it up 20 minutes later.It was piping hot and everything we ordered was delicious..The chips were the nicest I've ever had and the curry sauce was spot on..We also had barbecue ribs,beef chop suey and fried rice which were all gorgeous..It was our first time there but certainly won't be the last, our new favourite place to eat...Also the price was really good..

We go here once every few weeks and it never lets us down. We pre order over the phone and it is always ready and hot when we get home. They are always lovely and friendly and the chippy is very clean. Been there for years and you also get loads so it is very good value for money, I usually get chips and Beef curry it is very nice and the chips are lovely. Also had the Omelette which is very nice as well, I really cannot fault this little place I love it.

We go here a lot, we ring through our order and go down to collect it’s normally a 15 minute wait. We have the Honey sweet chilli chicken a lot, the chips are proper chips (So many takeaways use frozen these days) Friendly staff who always remember our order, good value for money, fast service!

been going to this chippy since I moved to the area 40+ yrs ago same family owned it all that time must have tried every thing on the menu by now didn't like them all but that was personal taste not quality & they do great chips that's a bonus favourites are the Wong special dishes especially the Wong special fried rice. tried all the others in the area always comes out on top. Only down side is no card payments & the don't deliver so sometime i order elsewhere just because I can't be bothered or had a beer (no drive)
