Sorelle Italian in St. Helens

Tried for the first time last Saturday with my wife, son and his girlfriend, we were very impressed. Food was lovely with an excellent young lady singer in the upstairs dining area that wasn’t too loud and set the tone for a really nice evening. Would have given it a 5 but the lamb shank and fillet steak wasn’t available from the menu. Will definitely return

Starter was lovely apart from the bread which was cold. Both mains swimming in oil. Squid was well over like eating a rubber band. Aspargus in the risotto was under cooked. Waitress took our drinks to the wrong table then when I wanted to pay the bill I waited 10 mins at the counter to pay. I was never asked how the food was thank god! I will never go back.

Good food at a fair price and very handy for the train station plus the staff are very professional and polite. We hard a lovely evening and will be back

Absolutely spot on would recommend this place to everyone are 3rd time here and decided on roast dinner£12.99 with a glass of wine or soft drink they also do take out so got my son a roast to take away

Bruschetta was the first I’ve ever tried that has been served with warm tomato’s, didn’t taste of much. Carbonara was also different to any id had at other Italians, sauce was very watery not creamy at all. Thin bits of bacon instead of quality pancetta. Chunky chips were very dry. Service also very mid, asked for tap water for the table and ketchup both of which never arrived?

The most delicious Italian food, the staff are friendly and cheerful, everything is on time and the prices are not expensive.

I would like to highly recommend this restaurant.. My friends and I have just had the most wonderful night.. The food was delicious and the staff are so kind and attentive.. We enjoyed every minute.. Thank you all for a lovely night out..

2nd time me and my wife have been here and we had spaghetti bologneise and grilled salmon which were both lovely with good sized portions at a fair price and lovely staff so I would highly recommend this place.

My review is pretty much the same as the others. We had a great evening with fantastic food which was reasonably priced. The service was brilliant and very friendly.

The first time that we've visited this local restaurant. It hit the spot on every level for us. Fabulous food, great service. So friendly. Very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go again.

Had a lovely meal here! We had the early bird special,2pasta dishes and garlic bread for £17! Very impressed,staff very friendly and attentive,speedy service.we all staring at the desserts,they looked delicious when the chef came out with a sticky toffee pudding freshly made!,had with custard was best I've ever tasted! Would definitely recommend,thanks again to the staff made for an enjoyable evening.and special thanks to the chef!!

It took a total of 3 hours to be served quite average food and then the waitress/(potential owner?) said “got to make sure the bills are paid even if you’ve had s**t service”. Wow. That is an actual quote. We were all so amazed and none of us will be going back, it’s a shame because it’s a local business but you can’t support it when the staff talk to you like that (and the business itself is awful)

Really fab pizza/pasta deal on a Wednesday evening. I had the prawn and salmon tagliatelle in white wine and cream it was amazing! Very busy and can be a bit noisy in there but highly recommend x well done Chef 🫶

Best Italian I’ve had, can’t argue with anything. Service 10/10 fantastic staff and freshest food 👌🏻

Wow faultless Excellent from start to finish Great service and food exceptional We dine out every weekend and this Italian better than the top restaurants like san Carlo ginos etc Food was delicious and great portion size. Service is excellent with staff making sure you are happy throughout Best of all is the bill half what you pay in town centre will definitely recommend and will be back now our regular

Pleasantly surprised when we ate here recently as on our previous visit ( even though it was a different set up and restaurent name then but same management and owners as at present ) we left after waiting for over an hour for some food , very dissapointed. No chance of that happening this time , service was quick and staff attentive , orders were coming out of the kitchen fairly quickly. Started with Bruschetta Classica very nice but bread was soggy and Mrs W had Chicken Liver parfait, apart form soggy bread very nice indeed. For mains Mrs W had the Pizza Sorelle which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had the spaghetti sorelle which was well seasoned and full of flavour a really nice dish. Unfortunately no room for desserts but those on display looked very tempting. Great to have a decent Italian Restaurent in the area serving good food at a resonable price.

Visited on a Thursday with my family we didn’t realise we qualified for the early menu which is two people pasta or pizza plus garlic bread for £18. Two of us ate of that menu two didn’t. The food was lovely I’m would recommend two courses we shared olives and bread garlic bread and calamari. Individual dishes were pasta and king prawns salmon pasta, mushroom risotto and chicken salad. All good salad was a bit sparse but to be fair I wouldn’t go to an Italian restaurant and have salad anyway!!! Will definitely be returning and recommend to friends

Another great time at this lovely restaurant. Great quality food at very reasonable prices. All 11 of our group which included 3 kids had a great meal and lovely time. Staff and the service fantastic, manager Paula so very welcoming and helpful, can’t wait to go back. Thank you

So pleased to have an Italian restaurant in Rainhill. It's local for us so we've eaten here a few times recently. The food is amazing, and the team are pleasant and helpful. We used to go to Liverpool or Southport for Italian food, and now we don't need to. Check out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.

Unpretentious tasty Italian food! Special offers during the week before 1900! Exceptionally pleasant staff, who even offered a complimentary lemoncello at the end if the meal! Very reasonable prices in a lovely environment
