i went into the restaurant and straight away i got attitude from a male employee on the 11 of august, fortunately the female employee was helpful, but the boy was too busy on his phone while he was serving my food! he did not even apologise once, very disappointed cause i do enjoy the food but the service was terrible.

Won't be returning. This place has low food safety standards. Wouldn't eat the eggs. Plus, poor customer service that has said Wok to Walk has no plans to end the animal abuse in its supply chain. Even Panda Express has higher standards! Not worth the money.

Why was it so watery? Also I got the sauce where it was like WARNING IT IS VERY SPICY and it was mediocre like im not even trying to act like im cool because ooh high spice tolerance it literally had zero spice for something labelled very spicy. If you hate flavour then come here I guess, but they could have done a lot better - maybe my server was just having a bad day and I happened to have the misfortune on being serviced on her bad day and got the wrong sauce or something, but either way whatever sauce I got had 0 flavour and 0 spice. Very disappointed, do better.

I've been a regular customer of Wok to Walk and today I've had the best Wok delivered to me. Thanks to Josh and Nico, this meal has been wonderful. After the first bite, I was so only impressed that I had to call these guys and thank them for doing a wonderful job, before devouring my super tasty wok. Loved it, thank you!

This is a good option if you need to eat quickly. Choose what you want, and watch it been cooked. Inside looks like a fast food outlet, but everything is freshly prepaired. This is a favourite spot when I am in town.

The customer service at Wok to Walk (The Oracle, Reading) is also superb. To the point where they greet me with a familiar welcome, remember my usual orders, suggest new things I would like to try, etc. It's my place of choice for lunch because it provides a meal that is usually hot, filling, and really tasty! If you choose to eat in, thry have quirky chargers built into the tables so you can charge your phone. Everybody cooks very well, especially the girls! The enviroment is very friendly and awesome! If you haven't tried it yet, go and see for yourself.

I was hoping for a light light meal of egg noodles with chicken. Instead it was very salty and thick, too much soy sauce which is what it tasted of. Pre-cooked chicken taste of nothing. For me a place to avoid.

Tried Wok to Walk recently and I’m OBSESSED, I had the tofu udon noodle with soy sauce, bean sprouts and pak choi!! So full of flavour, the whole place is dairy free too which is fab. Reasonable price for delicious healthy food, 100% recommend!!

A new place to try for me so I went in with mixed expectations, only to be pleasantly surprised. Decent selection across a number of ingredients to create my own stir fry which were then wok fried and served in a traditional noodle box. Gnerous portions - especially for a lunch! Well worth a try.

I tried this place for the first time today. The food and choice looked good and was interested to see what it would be like. However I didn't get a chance due to the poor service. After I arrived I waited for the staff to finish with another customer I looked at the selection available while I waited. When the staff was ready to serve the next customer she immediately went to the couple behind me who can come in after me. She ignored me completely as if I was invisible. So since she obviously wasn't interested in serving me I left and found somewhere else with better service. I don't think I will go back.

We visited around 10pm for the first time and we're not disappointed. The food can be quite expensive but it is a really hot box of neverending rice or noodles. Plenty of options, we would visit again. We all ordered different food and each dish looked good.

I think I was hoping for a Wagamama style stir fry, fresh light and tasty.I noticed that the meat (I had chicken) is already cooked when it goes into the Wok which to my mind makes for a dry end result.Sauce tasted very salty and gloopy and heavy on the noodles. We left most of ours and I noticed others did the same.We all agreed that it was a great idea but would not return.

We were passing and were looking for something quick to eat. We are a family of five and one is a dairy and wheat free child, so finding food for everyone isn’t always easy. Happy that we found all order what we wanted, and they could cater for all of us. We all agreed that we will come here again next time we are in Reading.

Food wasn’t great. Atmosphere was pretty bad too.Food: the “hot asia sauce” advertised as being so spicy it warrants 3 flames next to it on the menu and is even advertised in the window as being super hot. Was barely even a kick after it. I’m not one of those chilli snobs that says “that ain’t even that hot” after eating a vindaloo, but honestly wasn’t spicy at all. The prawns were undercooked, slimy and watery. Beef was too tough. The jasmine rice was burnt.Atmosphere: the guy was quite aggressively shouting the order numbers. I understand some times customers are pre occupied on their phones and might miss their order but this guy was bellowing and also had an angry face on him. No smiles in this place at all. Also the top ups (sesame seeds, roasted garlic etc. Cost an extra 45p but this wasn’t stated when the guy asks if you want them. It is however on the menu behind so I guess I can let them off a bit. Should be clearer though. Also one chef had gloves on and the other didn’t. The one that didn’t was giving out the orders and touching everything in sight. He was also the guy bellowing at customers. Chap with short brown hair. Unfortunately the food was awful for £14 - considering it’s meant to be a quick service lunch. £14 for burnt rice, raw prawns, tough beef and a not so hot Asia sauce. Oh and to be shouted at like a naughty toddler.

Paid £12 for some chicken teriyaki in cardboard and a can of soda. Bit of a rip off. Will not be going back

Wok To Walk is a wonderful example of fast food Chinese, your order is cooked in the gas hobs located in the front window and you can put any mix of meat and veg and select rice or noodles and sit until your food is cooked. You can sit and eat in the restaurant or you can walk. This is probably the very best of instant cooked food and the food is packed with wonderful flavours and I suggest you wok to walk.
