Wok Inn in Newham

Siempre tuvimos un camino de aquí, era muy sabroso y gran porción, me dieron uno hoy y me decepcionó mucho en sabor y calidad, no creo que sea dirigido por la misma gente, no volvería a comprar de nuevo.

Primero, no estaba muy seguro de encontrar la comida, entonces pensé que lo intentaría y era un rollo de primavera muy bueno, estaba muy bueno y el arroz frito de pollo crujiente estaba delicioso.

Las porciones eran más pequeñas que 4 y los calamares de entrada sal y pimienta se cortaron en rodajas finas fritas en demasiada masa para que no haya calamares al gusto. El calamar picante y salado estaba sobre trozos largos fritos y delgados en comparación con los pequeños cortes gruesos habituales con más carne en el hueso. Las tostadas fritas eran cortes demasiado grandes. Así que la experiencia no estuvo ni cerca de mis pedidos habituales de comida para llevar que solían suministrar, así que creo que puede haber sido asumido por nuevos proveedores, supongo, pero no tan bueno como era antes de marzo de 2024. Necesita grandes mejoras ya que era un cliente habitual.

If I had the choice of 0 stars I would have give it a 0, the food was cold the prawn crackers was stale. My advice is do not order from here, rang the restaurant up and they said because we threw the food in the bin as it was cold they could not give us a refund on our food, but if we had kept the food and sent it back to them they could have given us refund!!!!!!! My advice is DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FOOD TAKE OUT AT ALL.

good quality food, great value for money. I went in and ordered, got the food within a few minutes.

Fantastic to begin with outstanding food went slightly down hill after several orders although to be fair that usually happens with just eat Long story short just eat messed up and now we are blocked/banned through no fault of our own So not being petty either order direct or avoid just eat although we feel badly treated by Wok Inn for not contacting us they claim we cancelled an order we DID NOT Their loss

Bad customer service staff is rude and does accept responsibility when the food has been delivered cold or soggy after waiting an hour and a half. Will never order from them again. Beware of soggy stall butterfly King prawns because you will be paying £6.10 and be cold also prawn toast over fried till they are burnt. Do not order directly from there website, if you must order via just eat so you will be eligible to get a refund if not satisfied.

Rubbish food and Rubbish costumer service you have to wait for your food between 1 hour to 1qnd half hour and when is to your door the food is not even hot and proper cook very unprofessional people when you ask them you want to speak to managers all off them they are boss but no one manager is there

Terrible place! Black listed me because just eat refunded me for the food I never received. They gave the food to someone else. The cheek of them black listing me because I haven’t received the food! Terrible customer service. The only thing I like from this Chinese is the bbq ribs with sauce. So I tried to order from them today. And they completely cancelled my order due to them black listed for not receiving my food 😂😂😂 this place is terrible I would avoid them at all cost! I’m going to another Chinese now. Hopefully get better quality food and better Mangment! Mangament is TERRIBLE.

Rubbish customer service and pretty rude, I'm not buying any food from here again. The fried rice was mushy and nothing like how it normally tastes and the excuse was that they sometimes mix in glutinous rice. They made such a fuss over replacing it and their attitude was so bad I decided not to eat it

40quid set meal, prawn balls soogy as hell, pork tasted old and stale, chow mein dry and meat free, didnt enjoy one part of the package even the spare ribs seemed d and frozen wont order again

Ordered a bento box ( Egg fried rice with beef in black bean sauce) - It was really delicious with great quality, everything had unique taste which I had ordered, adjustable packaging. Nothing bad to say about the food. Too good I didn’t get any pics haha 😂

We collected, it was very quick. The people was so nice when we collected and very Covid-19 safe, even the chef come out and said thank you. And the food is amazing it’s not greasy, just perfect and hot.

Four stars is fair sometimes they do get the orders wrong however still using them to date.

If i could give no stars I would but this chinese should be ashamed to be called a chinese shop. They messed up my order really badly and couldn't even take the blame and give a refund. They kept making me go back to just eat, for 10pound 40p. Really bad service, do not order here, i repeat do not order here. Food is not up to standard or authentic chinese.

Terrible service, simply don’t get orders correct then refuse to give you a refund when you pay with cash for your order. Never order from this restaurant if you want good food otherwise it is a waste of your hard earned money.

not happy with our order, chicken balls were not cooked and the chips were horrible.. upon calling the restaurant and stating what was wrong I was told “oh well they should be cooked” obviously they should be, not much help was offered and will not be ordering from here again. Horrible service

There are dozens of Chinese takeaways in the local area, but only 2 that I trust to serve my favourite dishes: Salt Chilli Tofu Tofu in Black Bean sauce Egg fried rice. The Wok Inn does the second best Salt Chilli Tofu, but the most delicious Tofu in Black Bean with green peppers in the area. Their Egg fried rice is also lovely. It's cooked with a bit of soy sauce in and is one of the best I've ever tasted.. I always order large as I can't stop eating the stuff. Always ordered using Just-eat, they deliver within 45 minutes every time. Always a friendly polite delivery, with the food piping hot. I have no idea what goes wrong with peoples orders when I read 1 star reviews of this place. Maybe people just don't know what they want or don't understand what it is they have ordered. Too much booze and not enough brains???? On Just-eat there are 18 Chinese takeaways that will deliver to me. I've tried most of them over the years, and The Wok Inn is in my top 2.

this is a dreadful place that does not deliver the food for a very very long time. I have had good food from it on occasion but sometimes really terrible food and they have recently ALWAYS delivered well over an hour after ordering--last night 90 minutes went by in which they kept saying they were busy and the food was on the way when clearly it had not left the restaurant they seem to be taking a huge number of orders from just eat and hungry house and are unable to fulfill these because they don't have the necessary number of staff to cook and bring the food. basically they turn up when they feel like it and the quality of the food is very variable

Do not order from here,the food was disgusting, the egg fried rice was brown, the deep fried crab claws were dry and tasted bland and stale, the mixed seafood in black bean sauce also tasted bland and stale, and the shrimp chow mein was also tasteless. I threw the lot away.

food was ordered at 8, delivered at 22:20. Food was freezing cold, no appology from the restaurant or delivery man. i rang several times over the space of 40 minutes and he just kept telling me my food is with the delivery guy and will be 5 to 10 minutes. should have known better after the food was half hour late last time mixed with other reviews.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Tasted better than what I expected!! Would absolutely order from there again. Only issue is they don't do chilli oil on the menu which I'd like to have with my food. Would recommend this :D

Ordered from here a few times and food has been wrong or very poor standard/quality every single time. The only good thing is the delivery time which is pretty quick BUT makes you question why it's so quick. Staff aren't helpful in the slightest. Overall, food is awful so wouldn't be ordering again.

Waited for 2hours for delivery, when it finally arrived not only was part of my order missing/wrong the food was bland and tasteless.

The foor was brilliant, can not fault it at all, the delivery though was just over half an hour late, when I rang the shop the man on the phone couldnt tell me anymore than the driver had been sent out with the food so to just keep waiting.

Didn't receive the food until almost 30mins after the original time was changed, food was cold and will not recommend their excuse was we are busy which I know is a lie as I asked some one I know that lives in front of the restaurant

the amount of food given for the amount of money is really crab. rather than giving us fried chicken they gave us some fried flour to eat. disgraceful taste of the food. better of buying somewhere else that this. will never order from this restaurant. rather go to sunday market and get my chinese food there. the chicken size is really small not worth the money, they give too much veg and so much less chicken even though its small. the beef taste is disgusting in my opinion. thanks for the disgusting food and small portions of food for the money of around £45. never again.

Have ordered many time before, as I just love their Beef Brisket... Unfortunately, the order arrived an hour late, but with a free bottle of 7up... however, one item was wrong, so another hour for correction to arrive, plus another bottle of 7up. Unfortunately, I am diabetic, so the 2 free bottles of 7up are wasted on me...
