Wok Inn in Barnet

Food was average this time around. We enjoyed it last time a lot better. Tofu was hard and chewy like cardboard and Pad Thai was flavourless. Mini spring rolls were nice as was the chicken fried rice. Quite disappointed.

Food quality was poor. Too starchy and bland. The sauce for the dumplings was too vinegary to eat. Not ordering there again.

I have a baby and live on first floor not only was the food cheap hardly any meat and a bit cold and 1 and half hours to even arrive ... the delivery man said he only go up stair this once even tho I have children and a baby ?! so I would have to leave them all alone go down in a block flats to pick it up ?! madness. will not use again. I not only got a lecture about how he wouldn't come to my door I have leave my children alone but late and cold

Low quality food, soggy and cold.

The service and food was exceptional a very high standard . can never fault this restaurant such friendly delivery people too

Tasteless meal! watered down hoi sin sauce, non crispy dried out duck. Been using this take away for years, obviously changed hands recently. won't be going again.

First time ordering here. Our usual was offline. Food was bland and chicken was very dry. Rice was hard. Very unpleasant , won’t be ordering again

The food is really good and I will continue to order as it’s the best Chinese around however the delivery time is very very long!! we’ve even ordered to collect and it’s been an hour, other than the delivery/collection time they are really good, food is not greasy, very good quality.

lovely calender as a gift and early delivery but really bland food. the black bean sauce was lacking in flavour. the kung po had no spice in it and was dominated by water chestnut. what little chicken was in there was very bland and grisley.

We were very happy to get the food early as we had left it a bit late to order and were very hungry! It was excellent value, very good quality and very generous portion sizes. Excellent all round!

Although late, the food was still warm and delicious! The garlic mushrooms... perfect - defo getting that again

really bad experience this evening. the food was going an hour from order to delivery but then went it went over our time I contacted them and they said it was going to be another 20 minutes late. so went to pick it up. we asked them what they could do so they gave us a bottle of Coke and we asked for free chips. the chips were horrible, very greasy and oily. like they had been left for a while. all the food was cold, the chicken curry was not cooked how it usually was. this time it was big chunks of chicken, mushrooms were not cooked properly. will not be ordering from here again.

It had a 45min wait and then they added another half hour then 40 min after that It arrived. Food was nice but if I new it was going to take that long I would have ordered or picked up my self. So very disappointed

Nice meal. Good flavours. I do like spice, so the shredded chilli beef , I will ask for extra chopped chilli next time as no kick for tastebuds!

Fresh fluffy and very tasty can’t complain wasn’t greasy the rice was fresh out of expecting it may be to have a problem with the rice but very tasty overall very good recommend it

We rang before we ordered to make sure our allergies were suited and the lady on the phone said to leave them in the comment section and it will all be sorted. This wasn’t, which left me not being able to eat my food. Worse than that when the food arrived we had the delivery man tell us not to order from them again at prime time as we are too far away (3.2 miles) and he got stuck in traffic so the food is cold. He was very rude and told us there is a closer Chinese. The food wasn’t even that great (probably something to do with it being cold) Safe to say we will not be ordering again.

Chicken wings didn't have much chicken on them and also were a bit pink...fried crispy shredded chicken didn't taste like chicken and stir fried chicken soggy, Disappointed

Really good - crispy pancakes. Good - chow mein, pork dumplings, sweet corn chicken soup. Bad - crispy hot and spicy beef - it wasn't spicy and I couldn't tell if it has ANY beef in! Horrible - chicken satay. Possibly the worst I've ever had.

Almost an hour late with delivery. Food was alright, had better-had worse

Food was absolutely fine. However, the delivery was really bad. After calling twice it finally arrived about 30-40 minutes late.

Mostly the food was great but the BBQ ribs were not sweet as I expected and were a bit dry. The rest of the food was delicious though.

Greasy ribs, Kung Po chicken incredibly sweet, complimentary prawn crackers just tasted of oil, not a hint of prawn. Would not order again.

The only comment I have is the small portion of chow mein

The Kung pao chicken is terrible .. it has red color in it .. the beef with ginger and spring onion was good and so was the chicken Fried rice .

Delivery came early. Sweet & Sour dishes were nice, however the hoisin sauce for the aromatic duck pancakes was way too salty!

Waited over an hour and a half for my delivery to which I got told by the driver on the phone "a woman answered the door and said she hadn't ordered" instead of admitting he went to the wrong house. 3 times I rang the restaurant and each time the response was "be there soon" or "confirm your address please" was absolute joke. My food was cold and I was late getting to somewhere I had to be so I would like to say a very very massive sarcastic "thank you"

Food quality was good overall but not impressed by chicken chop suey as it seems to have some red tomato sauce type of ingredient in there.

Was gutted when Joy Fook closed down so I've been searching for a replacement... And BOOM!! This place is awesome... not greesey, always fresh and arrives steaming hot... literally a 10/10... Get ordering now 👌🏼

Food was good in general but the ribs were quite poor, not a lot of meat and a bit tough. Didn't use the restaurant.

The food was OK but I ordered for 11pm (as it gave me that choice) and I got a phone to call to say they were closing before then and not to order after 10:30 again. Which I thought was rude of them after being given the option to choose a delivery time.

Delivered within the hour as communicated by the restaurant. Food was piping hot and very tasty!

The quarter duck was very lean and meaty, and the order arrived quicker than the emailed delivery time. The food was also nice and hot. Will definitely order from there again.

Shocking service and bland food. Restaurant added 30 minutes to delivery time, I called after our given time and they said it would be a further half an hour as I live far away (10 minutes away is too far apparently). They were rude and it's the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. It took 2 hours to receive and was definitely not worth it. I want a refund, my boyfriend and I were incredibly disappointed with the restaurant in general. They should have called to let me know how late it was going to be.

Delivery arrived 30 late. Driver refused to enter the flat building to complete his delivery - had to go downstairs in my PJ's to pick up the order as they "don't enter houses". Duck is alright, rest of the food is rubbish.

I never usually leave reviews good or bad but- it was 40 mins late after they had extended by 30 mins. The food wasn't great, the crispy squid was soggy, chicken chow mein, the chicken was grey, the egg fried rice- yeah that was good. Overall really not happy.

It was delivered way before the delivery time and this was very good as we were really hungry. The crispy aromatic duck was one of the best I have had, it is very tasty. However in the notes I did ask for them to shred the duck and they didn't, but I'll assume that maybe they just didn't look. The egg fried rice wasn't to my specific taste (I like it when the rice looks brown) but it wasn't horrible. Overall quite tasty food

I regularly use the Wok Inn. Great food. Good portion sizes. Delivery is on time but it is becoming more and more popular so get your order in early.

Food tasted great, was quicker than actually expected and the delivery guy was mint, deffo order from there again

Superb as always. Cannot rate this restaurant too highly.
