Always great food and the staff are amazing

I arrived and ordered vegetable chow mein, king prawns sezchuan, king prawns satay, sweet and sour vegetables, large egg fried rice, spring rolls and prawn crackers. All less than forty quid and cooked in about 15 minutes. It was delicious too. The couple who run this business have been going for many years. They are so friendly and always helpful. With ingredients that are freshly cooked for you in no time, this must be about the best in town and beyond.

Absolutely bland , will never order again and the price is unbelievable, for what you get , would not recommend the special fried rice either , there is nothing special about it , 3 tiny bits of meat 2 tiny prawns and no sauce so really rice

Really nice, freshly made Chinese food. Everything is really tasty, there are lots of options and the lady who runs it is the loveliest!

Had a Sunday night takeaway, delivery, absolutely first class meal, portions not fill with sliced onions, will definitely be a returning customer

For all that the food was lovely, this place does not take cards and is cash only. I didn't have enough cash on me (short by £2) so I had to get extra out at a local ATM. However.. only had my credit card with me and cash withdrawals on credit cards really mess with your credit score!! This place really should either invest in a card machine or put a clear sign in the window (or advise when calling to place an order) that it is cash only! NOT what I expect or accept in this day and age!

Been here plenty in the past, however I do think the quality of ingredients isn't as good as pre COVID times, had Singapore noodles, very little chicken/prawns in it, and pork that was in it was coloured pork fat, I understand things are more expensive, but if they can't afford the pork, please leave it out of dish, rather than putting pork fat in.

Definitely a must go. Owners are the kindest folk and a welcome face for this international student living abroad. I've always had a hole in my heart since coming to study in the UK, but the food here helps fill that void more and more.

I can't belive any negative reviews on here saying that it's the worst Chinese ever, that is complete and utter rubbish!They must be from people who are either vindictive, or don't appreciate authentic Chinese food made to order in an open kitchen, or prefer their food swimming in fat that is not made to order. Nicky and Marlon are the loveliest people you could ever wish to meet and their food is and always has been delicious. We have been going there for 20 years and would never entertain going anywhere else? Speaks volumes really. On the odd occasion when we had to go elsewhere due to the Wok2Yip being shut it merely highlighted the difference in quality between this place and any other Chinese. The large spring rolls are the best spring rolls we have ever tasted, but then so is everything else. It blows every other Chinese out of the water, end of story.

Disappointing meal tonight after looking forward to it. Sweet and sour chicken cantonese was dry, chow mein was also dry.. no sauce just plain noodles. 1 star because rice was fine.

Very , very disappointed . 20% more than other takeaways locally , lacking flavour . Paid £48 for 3 meals and most of it went into the bin .

Wok 2 Yip seems to be a breath of fresh air. First time at Wok 2 Yip and was recommended by a vegan website. Walked through the door and was welcomed by an exceptionally friendly lady. Explained I was vegan and she couldn't be more helpful. The food was very tasty and flavoursome, like from a restaurant. The crispy tofu was to die for, and lots of it. Portions were great, with some left over for lunch the next day. The mushroom fried rice with no egg was really tasty, and the chilli, salt and pepper chips were lush. I'll definitely be returning to Wok 2 Yip, to experience the other choices.

I have given two stars because the customer service was great and the delivery driver was lovely. However the food was the worst Chinese food I have ever had and most of it was thrown away they only thing that we could eat was the rice and curry. The ribs where so salty none of us could eat them. Chow mien was horrendous and the sweet and sour sauce was cold. We paid 30-40 pound but probably only eat £5 worth would never go back.

My number one Chinese takeaway. Open kitchen so you can see the chef cooking your meal in front of you. They are happy to customise your meal as I like mine hot and spicy. The owners are very polite and just nice people. Some curry’s I have had from other places have been watery and tasteless but not from here. The sauce is thick and rich and tastes amazing. The chilli and honey crispy chicken is like none I have tasted and they removed the pineapple for me.I can not recommend this place enough. I see some reviews have said expense but I find it the same as everywhere else. You pay for what you get and you won’t get better.

5* Wok 2 Yip is the only Chinese I will go to - Nowhere else compares!! Tonight we had the tofu Katsu rice, sweet and sour tofu, tofu in black bean sauce, chilli and garlic vegetables, and spring rolls. I would highly recommend the tofu dishes!!!

Been going here off and on for about 20 years. Their service and food is 2nd to none, I will say I find them a little more expensive than the other Chinese I go to, but the quality & taste of food makes up for it. Would definitely recommend a visit Wok 2 Yip.

Had a Salt and Pepper chicken, Salt and pepper chips and a crispy beef in Peking sauce from wok 2 Yip today and everything came in small cartons, the price was £18.80, I will include a picture with this review.The Salt and pepper chicken was a sliced bit chicken sprinkled with seasoning and the salt and pepper chips were just chips sprinkled with seasoning and the crispy beef was like any crispy beef just less of it.The price came to £16.50 on the website but I got charged £18.80, I questioned the price difference and was told they had increased their prices a month or so ago but they didn't know how to change it on the website.To round off it was the most expensive chinese with the least food I have come across. I felt they were taking the P**** and will not go here again, if they are taking advantage of the Covid lockdown I hope it comes back to bite them.Wok 2 Yip your off my menu.

Absolutely stunning dishes, as fresh as can be, full of flavour and always served with a smile. Not a single dish has been disappointing. Wok2Yip is our go to for comfort, for pleasure and for satisfaction. Once you’ve tried it, you are guaranteed to go back! ❤️❤️

Had a delivery for the first time ever from Wok 2 Yip- fair size order of £84 and have to say that every single dish we received was excellent. It came quickly, very hot and was beautiful. Definitely our new local take away from now on. Well done guys

There was so much food on this order which was a really nice surprise . It was all delicous and we will def order again . The lady who took the order was so friendly as was the lady who delivered this Delicous meal .i have to say out of the Chinese takeaways we have had this is the best .Well done to all involved .

I don't visit here often but when I do, the staff always remember me, which is so lovely. I've noticed when waiting for food that they seem to know all of the customers who come through the door, which always impresses me and definitely makes me keep wanting to come back.Everything is made fresh to order, which you can see as the take away has an open kitchen. The food is well priced and everything is very tasty. We've never had a bad meal and always try something new.

Eat here everytime we have Chinese. love the fresh cooked food that is prepared in front of you in the open kitchen. The husband and wife team that own and run wok to yip always happy and glad to see you and remember me by name wether in person or ordering over the phone. Crispy beef is amazing

How is a takeaway this good in Skewen? Your ribs are absolutely outstanding. It is more expensive than other Chinese restaurants in the area, but this is in another league to its local competition.

We found this place after moving to the area and haven't tried to find anywhere else. The food is absolutely delicious.. the Singapore Fried Rice is the best i have ever had. Another bonus is the open kitchen so you can see what the chef is doing :) the owners are lovely and always remember us.. would happily give it 6 out of 5!

Love this takeaway, we have it a couple of times a month and it is always great. Normal order is chicken chow mein, no beansprouts. Sweet and Sour Chicken, chicken fried rice and mini spring rolls. Love this place

We have tried quite a lot of Chinese takeaways in and around Swansea, and my brother told me about this place and its the best around and the bonus of delivering as well , a little on the expensive side but you only pay as the say for what you get , the people there are lovely and polite

Cleanest nicest Chinese in Skewen service is tops .

The staff/ owners are super friendly and are happy to recommend dishes. There are a number of listed vegetarian dishes and many are or can be made vegan. Staff are knowledgeable. Food is fresh and cooked to order in front of you.

Travelling home and needed a bite to eat. Read the reviews and meal surpassed expectations. Food laid out in kitchen so you can see the ingredients. Will definitely use again if passing through as it's possibly one of the best takeaways I've had.

I go here frequently. There are many chinese takeaways in skewen but this is by far the best. Nicky always knows what i want whenever i phone up, they do delivery which is great, it's so friendly, the food is cooked right in front of you. Plenty of veggie choices and now they do tofu dishes too which is great!

Firstly, it's an open kitchen so you can see exactly how your dish is cooked. Secondly, Marlon, the chef and his wife Nicky are the friendliest people you could wish to meet. They even sent us a card on our wedding day which is a bit disturbing as it shows how often we go there!!The food is always delicious and we would never dream of going elsewhere for a Chinese. If you want something that isn't on the menu they will always try and accommodate you.We love an open kitchen as the vast majority of takeaways disappear into the back and reappear with your meal in about 5 minutes but not here. Don't just take my word for it, try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food, and service. Marlon and Nicole (the owners) are so friendly! The food is delicious! A little expensive compared to others, but it is worth it. A number of take aways in Skewen, but this is one of the best!
