Winner House in Mansfield

I used to rate this takeaway, but after last couple of times service. I've NEVER BEEN so insulted by Staff members like I was on 2/2/24. When collecting my order it sempt to be too much hard work for me to pay by card. Total Disgust. Highly recommend to go elsewhere.

Winner House gas been serving Chinese food for over 35 years, that I can say from using them intermittently over that time. My wife used them before then. Can't remember ever having issues with the food. Hot & Tasty.

Not marked atmosphere because its only a take out not a restaurant all food is good, but sweet n sour chicken Cantonese is fab.

After my go to Chinese left me very disappinted I asked friends recommendation for a new Chinese and a friend told me about winner house and he was that confident with it he said if I didn't like it he will pay for the next one. He was right. Had it twice now from here and it doesn't dissapoint. Friendly service, food comes hot and tastes lovely. They even adapt the chicken in satay sauce for me as I don't like all the vegetables. I always like to try things on friends recommendations rather than reviews online and I'm glad I did. This is now my go to Chinese in mansfield woodhouse! A must try for locals

Food spot on, good prices and friendly staff. Ordered in store and was only waiting 15mins or so with people before us.

Lady who takes your order is brilliant very friendly, food is really nice, I usually get migraines after Chinese but never from here.

Ordered meals from here many times and they have always been lovely. We even travel from Mansfield to come here as it's one of the better Chinese takeaways in the area. Staff always nice, prices always competitive, well worth it.

My last purchase was a Saturday evening, probably the busiest time of the week. Took some time to wait for the takeaway 15 mins approx. Food was excellent. Give them a try....

Expensive but not good quality atm. Chips rock hard and I mean rock hard and hardly any meat in the he steak chips and mushrooms.

Cold food ,not very tasty,it's was brought as a birthday meal for 6 of us ...vile ,binned most of it .

Big portions, reasonable price and the lady behind the counter is great. Got my food quickly (I collected). The special fried rice was fabulous. I'll be calling in again.

All my local shops were closed so I tried this one. Ordered my meal at 7 to be delivered at 9.15. Right on time food was piping hot and extremely tasty fresh and clean. Non greasy will be a regular user.

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! We ordered a Chinese and explained where we lived and that our postcode may not work due to it being a new build. She said this would be fine for delivery, we waited an hour and 45 minutes for her to tell us we were out of range for delivery even though we’re only 2.6 miles away. This is by far the worst service we have ever experienced.

£15 for Chinese which was lukewarm , no idea how long it had been stood waiting.... definitely won't be going back!!!!

Usually I always receive a good service from winner house. I placed an order at 5:06pm to be delivered this evening the guy said would be 1 hour and 20 minutes which is to be expected however my meal never arrived attempted to contact winner house but they obviously taken the phone off. Disgusting service safe to say not be using them again a courtesy call would of been nice to say my order was not going to be arriving. Very disappointing to say how many years I have used this take away.

Great service and friendly stuff! I really enjoyed my dinner tonight, it was so tasty I couldn't stop eat! Definitely we will be back.

The food is gorgeous and the service is great. If you want a none Chinese meal I can recommend the lamb chip dinner

Not been for a while. Seems to have improved a lot since my last visit.

Ok price on the menu on the internet is different for what you will get charged.Deliver charge is £1 for 3 miles got charged £2 I live 1.8 miles away. Food salt and pepper ribs nice, Beef in garlic and hot chilli sauce very poor no taste no garlic no chilli? Crispy shredded beef was more like crispy batter no beef it’s sat in my kitchen if you would like to fetch it and refund my money.

A warm and welcoming take away that deals with your order quickly. Their chicken breast meals are definitely the best in terms of size and flavour when compared to other take aways within the same area. And thier gravy is to die for.

Discovered this place after moving to woodhouse last month. Been a few times on all occasions the food was delicious and priced competitively. One of the few takeouts not on JustEat these days but worth popping in for a menu. Will become a firm favourite.

Been going years and has been good food until last time when they got the order wrong, no problems it happens, except for the fact they would not correct it and wanted to charge again and the meal would have cone well after the other 11 of us had eaten. After being a customer for 18 years I will now go else where if that is what loyalty means. Check your order before paying!!
