From sandwiches to hot meals, a fairly good selection and very tasty. A good salad bar was also available as were paninis. Very clean, as you would expect of an RAF establishment!

The restarurant has moved with in the museum grounds but still serves excellant food in an atmospheric setting. If I lived nearby I would visit more often just to eat here.

I Think they have changed the name but i found a great little cafe with reasonably priced food & drinks and I needed sustenance to continue my search for the Stuka ! Were else can you enjoy a nice cold Spitfire Beer ?? Beer, Sambo & Nuts ! All the food groups covered I reckon !! I enjoyed it as did the hundred kids around me !

On going for lunch with my granddaughter the choice of meals was very limited, plus the sandwiches were also rather expensive and seemed to have what must have been wartime amounts of fillings. Soft drinks as well as tea and coffee were also priced well above the prices seen in some other establishments, and visitors taking more than a couple of children will find eating at the museum can be rather expensive when taking into account the parking fee as well.

I ate here on Saturday 30th September with my 3 boys aged 3, 6 and 7. The decor is "on theme" with interesting wall schematics of planes and an engine block in the middle of the room. Otherwise the tables and chairs were "school dining room" spartan but fine. The kids' meals were middling to OK. They took 3 fruit juices and 3 kids meals. Their pizzas weren't actually pizza but more like a pitta kind of pastry with pleasant and liberal cheese and tomato topping, and a single slice of garlic baguette. Odd that it came to the table completely unsliced. Tasted fine but pricey at £5 and less enjoyable than a benchmark £4 pizza hut kids meal (incl. pizza, salad and unlimited drink). I'd finished slicing up the boys 3 pizzas when my meal then arrived. My choice was deeply unpleasant. I should say that I'm the kind of dad who'll eat pretty much anything but the 28 day burger was unbearably chewy, the cheese and onion gloop was not pleasant, and the single leaf of greenery did nothing to resurrect this misery. I stopped halfway when a particularly large tube of cartilage was peering at me. Can't remember the last time I ever left food. The chips that came with it were good, though barely more than a fistful. For £9 I expected a burger at least as nice as a McD but this was just nasty. For £32 I felt pretty unhappy. Rest of the museum trip was great though! Full menu shown here: http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/plan-your-day/restaurants/eat-spring-2013-menus.aspx

Our visit was for the museum and the exhibition of aeroplanes and war-time memorabilia and, as expected, these were both excellent; we plan to make a return visit very soon. Keen photographs as we are, both of us took many pictures of their exhibits. RAF Hendon's Wings Restaurant provided a brilliant menu of coffee and cakes, followed by a very good lunch, with an excellent service and staff experience. I was hoping for a gluten-free menu and while presently, this is not an available option, apparently they are looking to provide one when possible. I had their Mushroom Stroganoff with rice and vegetables and this was very good, as was their delicious carrot cake!! We can't wait to go again!

A breath of fresh air from the Pizza Huts & Domino’s of the world. Ordering was simple and although I ordered ahead it was baked in front of me and not left waiting around till I arrived. The chef was new but if he hadn’t mentioned it I wouldn’t have guessed. Very friendly service and fab tasting pizza. I will return.

Service absent, Pay €2 per person more because you eat there. The pizzas have no taste and are even bad, extremely fatty and salty. Run away if you have the taste

I just walked in and made an order. Told the person I want Italian base, not the thick standard one. He misunderstood gave me thin version and when I opened it and told him to change it he argued that I was wrong and didn't want to change it. After asking him nicely to change it please as I don't like this type and I will not eat this one. He wanted to charge me again for another full price pizza. I had to throw the pizza away. Poor customer service won't come to this branch ever again.

a very good experience, I found cerise particularly helpful because she brought out our food very quickly and was altogether very helpful
