First time for takeaway from here in years. Was not disappointed the food was first class. Delivery driver shut the gate 👏👏👏 as well, unlike most. Good service from start to finish.

My experience with Wing Hing food has been first class, there has been some negative comments put up, but it’s untrue it’s quality and I know a lot of the negative comments put up are fake due to circumstances beyond there control, therefore unfair on there business.

After seeing how disgusting and dirty this place is on fb as you have now gone viral you should be ashamed!.. dirty vile and disgusting ! 😫 🤒 😷 🤧 🤢 🤮

Certainly not the best, had crispy wings in lemon and honey, absolutely swimming in the watery sauce, food warm not hot,seeing it only came 2 miles at the most, had a promotion of 2 x 2.5 ltrs of coke only received 1, rather bland dishes, would we use again, probably not, even the step daughter thought it was poor and she is only 10!!

Food arrived later than supposed to be !!!one 1h late great job!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would, absolutely terrible service, I live 2 mins down the road from this place and being unable to collect myself due to kids it took them over 3 hours to deliver the horrible food, NEVER AGAIN! only ordered from there as my usual place was closed, plus they are super rude when you call asking why its taking 3 hours to drive 2 mins walk 5 mins to my house they actually hung up, couldnt even get a refund when i canceled the order. Horrible people..

I ordered Cantonese style sweet-and-sour chicken crispy balls, With Egg fried rice and chips. I’ve uploaded pictures to show how it was. Also I live literally 443ft away from the shop. And the Driver had to call me to find where I lived and I had to phone him back to ask where he was. I even put information in the note section on the BigFoodie app too. The crispy chicken balls where not crispy at all. Due to been put into the sweet-and-sour sauce, also the chicken seemed to be reformed chicken, based on how hard it was, Like reformed ham etc is made. The Chips where terrible, almost like they had been stood for a long time/reheated not sure which, but the pictures I’ve put on will show how they where. Farmfoods is over the road and the same meal from them is less than £5 😂😂 and tastes better and looks better too

Do not order from here its disgusting I ordered aromatic duck, when it turned up it wasn't worth giving it the dog in fact I'm not that cruel , the veg was slimy there were two rib cages left in my duck meat with an other big bone, it wasn't very warm and the pancakes were cooked so much I couldn't separate them at all , I called the shop about getting my money back as it wasn't fit for eating but alls I got was attitude and something I couldn't understand and he hung the phone up 🤬, my wife's meal was rice and chicken with sweet and sour sauce and that wasn't any better neither of us ate out meals and it was put in the bin, the pictures I took say it all 🤢🤢🤮🤮

Where to start! Food was an hour late....to arrive luke warm! This meal needed to be good but sadly it was rank.....meat like rubber and the taste was trash.......we might as well thrown our £30 in the bin because that's where the food ended up!

Sent us a munchie box didn't come with a curry sauce as ordered or drink rung up and complained asked them to send us it back out as we have no mode of transport. The call handler was rude and argumentative. The food was dry not a place to order from again.

Used to use them a lot but be three times recently I've had to phone them to chase the order and it's arrived after two hours. I won't be using them again. New management? Bloody shambles.

Crabmeat soup has zero crab meat!!! The soup had a crab stick in it which everyone knows contains zero crab. Absolutely disgusting - cheap skates and false advertising!!!!!

Took over an hour to come which wasn’t the bad bit the delivery driver was demanding us to pay for an extra curry sauce that apprently we added in which we didn’t so I told her we didn’t order then she starting yelling and telling me we phoned up to add it which I’m sure I’d remember doing but I didn’t now I don’t care I’d pay 1.90 even tho I didn’t order it but who has cash about how days anyway she basically threw the food in my door with an a right attitude and started yelling even more telling me I did phone up and add when I didn’t comes to opening our order and half our order was missing anyway. Do not order from here absolutely pathetic, phoned up to make the restaurant aware so it doesn’t happen again but they didn’t show no care and just tried to offer me 10% off well I’m not ordering again so won’t be needing that.

Food took over an hour and a half to arrive and was mediocre at best.

Order from here often and normally it's nice, but the last few have been bad but tonight's was horrid, beef in black bean which could only be described as jelly, the sauce wobbled and the beef was like jelly, in the bin it went

Well I called up at 7.45 qnd I called them back at 8.43 qnd my food not even cook qnd qm passed of as I may as well order from elsewhere were

We thought we’d try here as we’d had a menu come through the letter box. We ordered at 7.15pm and was told “it won’t be long” when we asked when to expect delivery. 9.10pm and still no food so we called the shop and they apologised and said the chefs were prepping it. We asked them not to bother if it was going to be later than 9.30pm. The delivery driver knocked on the door at 9.50pm and we refused. The driver even said “I’m ever so sorry. You’re not the first to turn food away tonight”. If it’s going to be nearly 3 hours for food to be delivered, they need to give a warning. Think we’ll stick with our usual from now on 👎

Tried it for first time will not be going back,got a salt and pepper munchy box chicken balls were very tough inside batter was burnt, spare ribs were grissly dry and burnt spring rolls and samosa were full of grease when I phoned was told it would be ready in 5 mins which tells me now it was pre cooked and then cooked again ready for me to pick up.

Just ordered crispy shredded chicken crispy shredded beef chicken fried rice totally discusting food all floating in grease never will I be going there n owner refused my 20 pound note too unbelievable

Very disappointed with the service. I was told order was going to be an hour, only got it an hr and 45 mins later. The food was not nice, will have to go back to my usual Chinese takeaway place. one of the meals I ordered was meant to have prawns, only got one in there lol. I hope you guys improve...

Just received delivery for my 40th birthday, shocking....food is cold, delivered in a box which collapsed all over the kitchen, would not order again, steer clear

Occasionally I find a slight language barrier when ordering here, but that's fair enough: I am ordering Chinese food from lovely Chinese people 😀 They have an open kitchen, so you can see them preparing your meal 👍 The chef has always been happy to personalize meals, e.g. to swap noodle type; to make extra hot (spicy); add prawns; omit meat, etc. Very helpful. And they do a cracking Singapore Vermicelli! 😀😋👍

Ordered from here tonight. Salt and pepper ribs and half of duck. Priced at £22.50 Paid for it. To find ribs with no meat on and massive pieces of onion! And the duck is buried in the box with bones to make it look bigger. When does duck ever come on the bone !! Lazy service. Horrible will be ringing tomorrow as not happy and Not safe at all. Rang back and obviously closed. Not happy at all.

Absolutely appouled at what was delivered to my door the chicken was like rubber the most funkiest smell to come off the food was unreal never eating from hear again . FOUL

Ordered here twice. First time, they got the order wrong and the food was really bland and we were left feeling really disappointed. We thought that we’d give them another go and ordered a second time. I ordered a Thai red curry, which stated on the menu, as is a traditional Thai curry, that it contained coconut milk. When ours arrived, there was no coconut milk and it didn’t even resemble a Thai curry. The chips had all stuck together to form a potato blob and the prawn toast had been fried in recycled oil. When I squeezed the toast, orange oil came out. We will not be ordering from here again, that’s for sure.

Just had a Chinese from Wing Hing at Mexborough. Basically it’s the only one open At the moment, all my usual favourites are closed due to the virus. At the moment you order and pick up as they can’t deliver, again because of the virus. I have to say It was belting, possibly the best I’ve had for a long time and has taken the top spot in my list of favourite Chinese Takeaways. We had King Prawn Curry, Chicken Green Pepper & Blackbean Sauce, Yung Chow Fried Rice and chips, all perfect - I’ll definitely use ‘em again. Highly recommended...

Paid for a takeaway. Took ages. Wouldnt answer phone. Poor service hope the food is worth it.

Wrong order came, called back at 9:30, said the kitchen was closed so they would deliver the next afternoon (unusual hour to close). Food wasn’t delivered the next day and I couldn’t get in touch with anyone so I rang the online payment gateway company and received the owners number, called the owner and he hung up on me upon request of a refund.

Had to order food online due to present situation, no telephone orders. 3 hours later, I had to go and look for my food, even though we are not supposed to be out due to Government guidelines...what else could I do with a 3 year old crying for his chips and rice!I have tried to contact you, as when we finally got the food it was awful and ended up in the bin. When the rude man finally answered the phone, he just said sorry and put the phone down!Absolutely disgraceful from start to finish.....I will certainly never return and will make sure everyone knows how bad you are. In the present situation when food businesses are struggling, I would have thought would have been a little more interested in trying to sort the issues out but you obviously do not care!

It amazes me how a Chinese meal can taste, bland, burnt, over spiced and metallic all in one instance. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. It was supposed to be a Red Thai Curry, it wasn’t red, just a runny overly spiced hot mess. It had never seen any coconut milk in its life...absolutely vile, we ended up leaving most of it. The only redeemable source of substance were the spring rolls, which were probably bought in. If you fancy wasting twenty three pound then this is the place to order a platter of inedible garbage. I wouldn’t even inflict this food on the dog. I would give this takeaway 0 stars, but that option is unavailable

So disappointed I orderd for a specific time as I was planning ahead. It ended up coming a hour and a half earlier than I'd asked for. My questions why ask what time you want your food delivering !!! If your going to egnore the request and deliver it when ever u see fit ?

Food is always hot and is delicious. The salt and pepper chips are my favourite

Chicken balls batter was too greasy chicken inside was really dry Squid and beef chow mein was bland Apart from that the egg fried rice was greasy but tasted alright.

Ordered there tonight chicken balls was over done and too tough to eat they replaced them but still unable to eat them rest of food cold stay clear of this place

This place seems to change hands every 6 months or so. In it's latest incarnation the staff are a lot less friendly. The food is average at best and nothing stands out. It just feels like every other bottom to mid range chinese take away in the country.

I've never used Wing Hing before but as I was in hospital I decided to treat myself. I ordered lemon chicken, chips and duck rolls. I also added a message to deliver to the ward. Firstly the order was early, secondly the food was piping hot, like I'd cooked it in my own kitchen and thirdly it was delicious! I've recommended it to the hospital staff as well, it was that good. If my postcode was covered it would become my local! So all in all a massive 5 stars!

WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN! All the chicken sent in my order was raw!!

I have had some awful takeaways in my 70+ years but i can honestly say that i have just had the most horrible takeaway meal that i have ever had. My wife and I fancied a nice quick tasty oriental meal delivered for a change. I now wish we had saved our money it was vile, we couldn't even eat the chips, they had a sour nasty taste and the rest of the food wasn't any better. The leaflet that came through our letterbox today is now in the bin and needless to say we will never order another meal from there.

Decided on a New Year treat! O dear a treat it was not! Duck was meatless, just crispy skin and bones never had a worse duck dish in 20yrs. Singapore chow mien had chicken in that was more water that meat! Horrible!! 🤮 I believe you get what you pay for and would happily pay more for quality. I’ll do the rest of my talking with my feet and try elsewhere for the 1st time in a couple of years. Cutting costs on ingredients will lose you custom!

We gather that Wing Hing has changed hands - you can certainly tell the difference!!Food quantity was fine, but the quality was seriously lacking. The crispy aromatic duck was full of bones and the house special fried rice wasn't really that special with only a few chunks of meat and prawns.Very disappointing - we will be trying another Chinese takeaway next time we're in Mexborough!

After ordering on 21 July 2017 I had a prawn dish throughout the night I had stomach cramps sickness and diarrhea. I will never order again and two days later still have really bad stomach pains and cramps . unfortunately I paid too !!!!!!

Desde que esta fue vendida por llevar la mujer que tenía el pasado mes de mayo, que ha ido cuesta abajo. La comida es terrible con poco o ningún sabor. El curry es como el agua y sin sabor y el sal n pimienta pollo me encanta es ahora utilizada para piezas de pollo frito con un poco de chili en rodajas mezcladas. Le habían tres propietarios en los 12 meses que venden y ninguno de ellos cualquier idea de sabor. Voy a tener que encontrar una nueva China ☹ ️

Have just had a takeaway from here consisting of several dishes and at a cost of £17 and can honestly say that I have never had anything quite like it....everything tasted the same....TASTELESS. Never again

Ordered Sunday 9th April took 1 hour to come I live 5 mins away. What a disgusting meal the chips were soggy undercooked and sweating we didn't even put them on our plate they were binned straight away also battered chicken was tough with soggy batter and the gravy with the mushrooms was only described as thickened water no flavour at all will never go there again DONT WASTE your money this is BAD.

Been my local for 6 years + it changed hands late last year ...its now discusting ...just had a beef curry ..it was 3 pieces of beef in gravy ..no curry taste wots so eva ... this is 3rd time ive tried it since it changed hands ... it pays to pay delivery from.elswhere ..this place is bad ... well waste of money... even pancake rolls are just bean sprouts ..nothing else in them ... never tasted anything as bland ....

You get good value for money food wise. But wasteful if it's not enjoyed. My husband enjoy this but I wasn't overly impressed. The curry was weak and watery I didn't eat it. Would prefer to go elsewhere in preference

Ordered takeout service. This was collected on time. The takeaway gave us some free spring rolls. The food was hot and good sized portions. Friendly staff. The takeaway offer collection or delivery service. Value for money.

I would recommend wing hing takeaway to everyone, there food and customer services is brilliant, the staff is friendly and very nice. There food taste amazing and isnt very expensive. I have been going to wing hing for a while and would recommend it to anyone the food is delicious and the staff is friendly what else can you wish for?

Recently been to this Chinese Takeaway, the food is lovely. I strong believe it fresh cook(chips still crispy) and top quality ingredients,(I am sure its not warmed up in a microwave by Karenhancock review) it's all fresh cook by the kitchen staff.

I don't know whats happened to this place, it used to be lovely food, but has gone right down hill. I certainly will not be ordering from here again. it has got expensive and food is not fresh cooked, its warmed up in a microwave.

I ordered food from delivery. Upon opening I noticed items missing. I called for the items to be sent. The lady on the phone was rude and aggressive. Told me to eat the meal without the items and get something free next time as it would cost them money to send out a driver.

Ok for a Chinese takeaway ,chicken A bit rubbery (always same from Chinese as they use bold chicken) beef in black bean ok but not the best ,shop it's self could do with a clean up so not the best takeaway around try taste of China at Swinton.

Well has to be the worst yet. The food was cold in places and the flavour sadly lacking. Access is OK as you can park in farm foods opposite but we wont be back.

I live in Southampton, but visit family in Mexborough 3-4 times a year. We always have a family takeaway and Wing Hing Chinese takeaway is top of our list. Their food is good value, plentiful and of excellent quality. You always get a cheerful welcome from the lady who runs the takeaway. Food can be ordered online or over the phone, but you don't have to wait too long if you order in the shop. The takeaway currently has a five star food rating. Opening times - like most Chinese takeaways - every day apart from Tuesday.
