Wine&Deli in Croydon

Great food and even better Long Island Iced Tea. Have to try the buffalo wing bun. Amazing Will be back to try blue cheese & steak

I have never been to Wine & Deli before last night (Nov 29) and unfortunately I won't be going back. This is a huge shame as I love deli food and I love wine, plus I work really close. I came to meet 2 friends who had already ordered. I sat down and the member of staff working abruptly asked me to move my chair. Of course I obliged but I was taken back by how short he was with a customer. He then disappeared behind the back without asking if I wanted any drinks? I approached the counter but he never appeared. He then put his own music on really loud and that's when it all descended into madness. My friend asked him to turn it down (the place was empty) as the event outside his shop was blaring their music. He then told us he, and I quote, "I don't want to have to listen to your personal chats and i would rather not be having to be hearing it, OK". Unfortunately it all got rather heated so we had to leave. This is a very angry young man who really should not be running a bar where customer service is kinda the main point of the role.

The prosecco is £25 per bottle which is £6 more expensive than the Italian two doors down. The cheese platter was extremely disappointing and flavourless. Won't come back here.

Como siempre, yo no tenía más de unos 30 - 40 minutos para tomar un bocado rápido en un descanso para comer en el medio de un juicio. Wine & Deli fue uno de los que no Boxpark concesiones a las que aún no he visitado. Cuando llegué me dijeron sobre una oferta almuerzo incluido un sándwich refresco y paquete de patatas fritas por 7 libras. 50. Elegí un cerdo rebozado y sándwich de queso. Me aconsejaron el queso suizo anunciado había sido sustituido por otra variedad, pero no importa mucho ya que no había una enorme cantidad de queso al gusto. El schnitzel en sí, y de hecho el pan tipo focaccia haciendo el sandwich eran suficientes para justificar utilizando un cuchillo y tenedor. Con Limón y un paquete San Pellegrino superior de patatas fritas de todo esto bastante.

Un buen lugar para parar a comer algo delicioso, con un menú regularmente - también excelentes cócteles (que no encanta una negroni? Una lista) y realmente buen vino con unos vinos muy interesante biodinámica. El servicio es estupendo, muy amable y bien informado. Me encanta estar aquí!

Nice place for drinks, mostly reasonably priced but some of the wine is a bit pricey. Friendly service and never too much of a wait.

Este restaurante se destaca en la multitud de restaurantes en la casilla. El personal es amable, agradable y servicial y la comida deliciosa. Me recomiendo especialmente el pollo crujientes alas de soja y miel el bistec chimichanga. No soy un entendido en vinos, pero sé lo que me gusta y mi camarero perfección lo que estaba después.
