Ordered Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken burger.Had to send food back twice as it was wrong. Finally on the 3rd attempt it was correct. Another order was hunters chicken no veg included and doesn't look appetising. BBQ pulled pork loaded fries was overempowered with cheese. Expensive in my opinion. Portion is a bit small for what u paid for. Staff are nice.

Excellent food, shame that there wasn't enough staff to cover at lunch time. One person( manager) was trying to do everything from seating customers,taking orders and serving drinks. The rest of the front of house staff were late in arriving. Well done to the manager.

Ate at the willow tree today wehad the Sunday lunchand it was delicious as always. The staff were as helpful and friendly as always and we enjoyed the meal very much. Totally recommend the place to anyone.

Lovely atmosphere, great service and excellent food

Went for Mother’s Day lunch A solid, no-frills pub with your standard surf and turf fare. The food was fine, nothing special, just the kind of pub grub you'd expect. However, what made the visit memorable was Annie, the server. She was fantastic – friendly qnd attentive. While the pub itself is pretty standard, Annie’s exceptional service made the experience great.

Very helpful, lovely staff. Steak was cooked to perfection and our waitress Emma was amazing.

Having just recently moved to the area noticed this place and was so hungry, so we thought we would pop in and give it a try, unfortunately this was a big mistake and left feeling extremely disappointed! The food was served basically cold this is just something that can not be acceptable as it's the basic of a resturant! portion sizes were abit on the small side also for what you were paying. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. If you can't provide food that's hot and fresh then I wouldn't like to imagine what its like if it's ever busy. There are far better restaurants around the area. If you believe and pride yourself in providing good service then maybe suggest getting your waiters/staff asking politely is everything ok with your food to customers. Willow tree you really should be getting the basics right. Total Cost 2 drinks 2 meals £45+

Great staff Great atmosphere Great food We booked for 2 adults stated would need an highchair....arrived to a table for 2 that was to high for the highchair so baby couldn't eat off table.....within a minute staff came over and sorted the situation got us another table ,apologised.....So professional and polite! 100% visit again 100% recommend anyone to visit

We absolutely love this place! it's our local and we're always here haha! the staff cannot do enough for you and are very friendly and chatty, the food and atmosphere are fabulous. Kevin, Rhys & Cameron are brilliant & always squeeze you in when busy. They accommodate large numbers when we have needed them to (15+) This place is always our first choice. & To all the staff whose names I havent mentioned (as I don't know them) please don't feel left out your all brilliant too x

The cowboy burger is absolutly lush. Also comliments to chef. sherry trifle cheese cake is also outstanding. A+++

We had a little shop in retail park then popped to willow tree afterwards.....Its lovely and welcoming.We had a toddler that required an highchair did state this when booking.....Turned up to a table for and table to high for toddler to eat food from whilst in highchair.....Staff soon changed our table and sorted the problem right away.....Staff,food ,service all amazing! Highly recommended 👌 will visit again 100%

Booked here for a table of 10. The manager Cameron was so helpful. His customer service skills are impeccable. He is an asset to this pub. He made sure our food was piping hot and our orders were correct. Will definitely be visiting more.

Went to have meal with our family at willow tree and we have a lively meal. The staff was helpful and really friendly aswell.

Service and staff was excellent

Stopped in after school with the wife and kids for a quick meal. Waited by the door for a while but no one was telling where to sit. Ordered food from the app, 1 child, 1 sharer, 2 mains. Sharer came out around 20 minutes later so I asked can we have them altogether. An hour later I asked the staff how much longer and 5 minutes later we finally had ours. The food was probably the worst I’ve had and even had to ask for more fries to add to the 8 on my plate. Felt sorry for the waiter as he was serving food and ran the bar. Won’t be going there again and terrible quality for the money.

Great service, only downside was food was only ok. Lasagna was very sloppy and not much depth of flavour. No Parmesan.

My friend and I called in for a meal following a hospital visit. We both had a very nice turkey roast served by very nice staff. My only complaint would be that I think that £14.99 is way overpriced for the meal, especially for its small size. I’m not complaining about the portion size, it was perfect for me and allowed room for a lovely jam sponge and custard, but £9.99 would have been stretching it! There are many served roasts and carverys in the area of a higher quality and quantity for a much lower price.

Honestly I prefer the harvester which was disappointing as I really hoped for more from the willow tree, i would have loved to make it a regular place to go with family and friends but felt let down by the quality of the food sorry but that’s my honest opinion, other family members felt the same tbh and only hope that it does better in the future, but I won’t be visiting again for a while.

Well, where to start. No steak, no gamon, no scampi. The delivery driver ran out of time the day before! Two of us had steak and ale pie. Two had chicken. Pies looked as though they had been in the warmer for about three days. Pastry was like rock! Chicken was dry and covered in sauce to hide it, where the cheese was, i don't know. Tables were left with all the plates, etc, on until I cleared them. No effort was put in by the staff. I'm really disappointed! £80 spent on a 70th birthday. We wont be back!

It was our first visit to The Willow Tree. The staff were welcoming & friendly when showing us to our table. I wanted the mixed grill but they didn’t have the steak so ordered a chicken dish. The starters arrived quickly enough but my wife’s vegan bbq cauliflower bites were overcooked. When her main course (a vegan curry) arrived it seemed a very small portion, maybe they should have served this on a smaller plate instead of a large oval one. She enjoyed her curry but I was disappointed with my chicken feast. I went to order an apple crumble but they had none left so we paid & went home.We had a 30% off main douse voucher, which we used but without this we thought it was poor value for money. We do have another voucher but we won’t be returning. Disappointing visit

Went out for a meal with friends good atmosphere and welcomed by the staff, varied selection on menu you can place your order either at the bar or your table, food arrived within an acceptable time looked appetising and fresh and tasted good, didn’t feel rushed will visit again. Located on a small retail park so could spend a couple of hours visiting the vicinity.

Standards haven't been great since original opening 17 or so years ago. I saw that there was a voucher and new menu out so I thought it would be worth a go. The staff were lovely and the place was clean but our food was sub par. Steak underdone, poor quality with zero flavour. Onion rings had no flavour. Burger was dry and not very flavourful. The choc and mint tart was too strongly flavoured with mint. Based on those things, it'll probably be a while until I go back.

Amazing atmosphere and the staff here always go above and beyond. The front of house kev who was on duty on our visit is always polite, helpful and always on hand if we need anything. We was served by molly at the bar who took various orders of ours and was always polite and chatty and made it easy to order what we wanted. Lovely little pub for food and drinks and the price is even better.

We were shown to our table promptly and menus left with us. We told our server that we wanted a couple of drinks before placing our food order. Alas after that we always had to look for our server to order another drink and it was also the same when we wanted to place our food order. When we have visited in the past the server always kept a lookout to see if you wanted more drinks or were ready to order. The restaurant was not busy so staff should have been more attentive.

Have been here a few times and it has gone down hill. Lunch portions are tiny, twice they have brought the incorrect food and staff are unsure how to help. I would have given it 1 star but it was really good the first time I went.

Last nights visit was perfect. Our waiter was excellent he was a young lad who could not do enough for us and git everything right.. and the food was good last night.. we have visited previously and tries different food .. the burgers were awful and pie made me ill.. but last night's grills were excellent.. I would like more variety on the menu . Often I really fancy the lunch menu but as we call in after work . Its not available. So based on last night top marks .. thank you

The service was very slow. Some of the meals on the lunch menu were smaller than kids meals, eg the hunters chicken fitted in the palm are of a ladies hand, and was very thin! My meal was ok, average for gush and frozen chips - fresh chips would be much nicer. My ‘hot’ chocolate fudge desert was served cold with the chocolate melted and reset Not a great experience so average
