What place for food if you are vegan and, for those that aren’t (my husband) the food is so delicious. The sauces are on point. We had burgers, two chilli and a classic and, sides of kimchi tots, Korean flavoured and the house fries. I honestly can’t described how tasty each and every bite was on the palette. Can’t wait to return ❤️

I love wholesome junkies! I go all the time any opportunity and I’m always taking my mates who have never been before so they can try. SUCH good food! Amazing I have never had a bad meal and must have been 10+ times. The staff are always so nice and accommodating as well. Must eat place in Manchester for vegans and none vegans! Food was great and staff were very accommodating considering i had a train in 10 minutes! Its a little costly but very tasty. Tater tots were great and the borgur was tasty! Whole meal was demolished once i got on the train

Wow! What an amazing discovery today. First time in Manchester and looking for a quick tasty lunch near the AO arena and stumbled across this wonderful cafe. Sat outside in the sunshine in a quiet side street. Food absolutely delicious - all plant based but 7 happy meat eaters were incredibly content here! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough!

Superb food, happily accommodated our family of seven, and catered to the special requests of our three year old. Lots of options; everyone left well fed and happy. Unsure if dogs are welcome inside, but there are outside tables in good weather regardless. Excellent chips! 7 minute walk to the Victoria entrance of the AO Arena.

We’ve been wanting to come here for ages and finally made it happen today. We were not disappointed. To start with, our server was lovely (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name, lady in the fabulous glasses). We ordered a couple of small plates (tofu and gyozas), two burgers (the OG and the truffle) and a side of fries. Wow! It was all amazing. It wasn’t the cheapest, but for such exceptional food we thought it was worth it. We will definitely be back. Love supporting vegan indies. Keep up the great work x

The food here is great and I love the concept, but honestly I was floored when the bill came and it was £45 for two burgers, two cans of coke and a small bowl of tater tots! £45!!! We came here thinking it was a cheap place for a quick bite to eat rather than going out for an actual meal. We could have had a proper meal in our favourite place in Chinatown for the same price. I understand that everything has gone up, but it's just not affordable to pay this much for two burgers! I'd love to say I will come again, but I can't afford it unfortunately.

Wholesome Junkies is always great! Went recently for burgers - I had a classic beef-style patty with burger sauce and pickles while my two friends had a chicken-style burger. They liked that it was mushroom instead of fake chicken, and my burger was amazing as always (I order it every time I go). We also had kimchi cheese loaded tater tots, they change these up pretty often so was nice to try a new flavour. The only way this could get any better is if they started doing ice cream milkshakes!

Amazing meal and options as always, very accommodating for our large group. Delicious Korean burger and the phish bites were phucking phit x

We visited for Lunch and were not disappointed! The food was really good, atmosphere was lovely, decor was nice and colourful and the staff were very nice too. Will definitely come back in future.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. We were late for our booked table and telephoned as we were stuck in traffic, on the motorway on way to gig at Arena, they were so accommodating. It did take some finding with Google Maps as it is tucked away in an industrial unit, you wouldn't know it once inside though. The service and food was excellent. We didn't have time for dessert but the menu looked fab. Even during the interval at the gig we wondered if we had time to pop back for one of the excellent choices. We are going back next time we are in Manchester.

Just the perfect vegan spot! The staff was lovely and helpful, our waitress Esme helped with everything ❤️ it was one of our friends birthday, so I reached out a few days before if I could bring a birthday cake earlier on during the day. It was no problem, they brought it out and served it to us, making it a perfect surprise for my friend ❤️ really, a great experience all around 💛

I ran this past this place which is quite tucked away whilst staying in Manchester for a few days so decided to go back the next day to try it out. The food and service was amazing and if your vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater you’ll leave feeling very satisfied and full… loved it and will definitely be back! 😊

The food was amazing! It was so full of flavour with a mix of options on the menu. We have the corn ribs, the gyozas, Thai fries, the chilli burger and the truffle burger. They were 100% vegan and 100% delicious. The setting is bright and colourful and the staff really friendly. Also, the staff welcomed our dog and provided a water bowl, even though our dog was not in a friendly mood - thank you to them. Would recommend to you if you like somewhere with an independent style selling delicious food made by lovely people.

Great service, great vibe and great food. All vegan, very clear menu , plenty of choice. The food is very much street style, which is I think the main reason why it works so well. A real pick and mix approach, so you can customise and select what you want. Good selection of drinks too. Chelsea (I think) served us, she was lovely and attentive. No pushy upswell, but able to give us good advice. Will definitely be back, though I guess they may get rammed if there is something on at the arena, so booking ahead is probably advisable. It’s not a big venue, has some outside seating, but could very easily fill up.
