Such an amazing vibe, food was great(cowboy burger) drinks cold what more can u ask for! Lil irish lady was great she was engaged and gave great banter! Cant wait for the 2000 guineas its gonna be a great atmosphere in this pub!!!

A group of us stayed overnight at the White Hart in Newmarket after attending a family wedding nearby and it was the perfect choice. The room was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a restful night after a long day of celebrations. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious with a great selection and freshly cooked options. The staff were all lovely, but a special thanks to Greta, who made us feel especially welcome. She was so friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed—her kindness really stood out. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Amazing. Booked another Newmarket pub for Mother’s Day meal weeks ago, other pub ran out of food and awful service. Rang very very last minute ( 10 mins before) to book a table at the White Hart- they were so accommodating and informed us they would get us a table set up asap. We arrived, were swiftly served drinks at the bar whilst we waited for a minimal time for table to be set up. Lovely Irish lady served us the whole time, perfect service from start to finish. Gave us exactly what we asked for - including beans on toast for our 3yr old for her birthday dinner! Sunday roast was absolutely incredible (we had roast chicken dinner , with pigs in blankets , and a veggie roast all with cauliflower cheese) 7 very happy customers! Gutted we didn’t think to come here before the first pub! But we will most definitely be back, and definitely be recommending to others! Thanks so much to the staff for making it a really pleasant experience- adding to what was a lovely day!

Had a lunchtime meal here, on a quiet Thursday, Niamh and colleagues were all very welcoming and we enjoyed our food and drinks!

I booked a Christmas meal for seven friends and we had a wonderful night. Service was amazing the food was delicious.value for money, in fact incredible price for a three course Christmas dinner for that quality of food! I will be recommending The White Hart to anyone from now on. Thanks guys and girls for a lovely night!

Amazing place to stay. The staff are so friendly. Gretta and Niamh went over and beyond to make our stay second to none.

We booked a table for 1.30pm for Sunday lunch. We ordered at the bar at 1.45. Food arrived at 2.55. We were offered free drinks because of the delay because there was only one chef working. The roast beef wasn’t roast beef. It was like sliced processed sandwich beef that had been heated up as was the roast turkey. The Yorkshires were half cooked and greasy. Roast potatoes cremated and the vegetables were mushy. Very disappointing and needless to say we will not be returning

Great food, good service. We were seated quickly and staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of choice for food which was very tasty and presented nicely.

The only reason this is a 4* is the room I stayed in was very tired looking. Beds were comfortable bathroom and shower were great but the decor needed attention in places. Staff were great, beer and food spot on and good value. Would definitely stay again

What a great venue. In the heart of Newmarket. I've stayed here a few times lately and it didn't disappoint. The team are so friendly and helpful. Thanks to chef Katie for the best fry up .

Booked this room for the night before my wedding. I was NOT informed of a DJ/music that would be on the night I was staying and right underneath my room!! It was so loud and was vibrating the room and bed! It was so bad. I can’t believe I was not informed in anyway before I even got to the venue! If I had been told I would have booked elsewhere!!!!! It’s really unfair. After the run up to the wedding I needed a relaxing night and a good nights sleep. Did not get that at all. The rooms aren’t as great as the pictures either, they are run down and really dusty. The beds were comfy and good pillows though. Probably the only good thing. Definitely not a 4 star!

Another fantastic Christmas Meal, lovely staff.

I stayed at the hotel and had a master suit which was offered to me as an upgrade. The room was a brilliant size and the bed was so comfortable! Very clean and tidy. Staff were brilliant and were happy to offer any help were they could. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed at the Whitehart. We had our Christmas party here. Staff were bang on. The atmosphere was great. Will def return and recommend

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to Newmarket - will definitely be back

First time visiting the hart after years of staying in Newmarket for the sales. Staff couldn’t be more helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the White Hart Hotel the night before my wedding, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy rooms that offer all the amenities you could need. The location is also fantastic, making it a great place to explore the local area. In the restaurant, Niamh, Craig and Elliot were exceptional and provided an outstanding service; catering to all of our needs and wants. The bar staff smashed it, amazing work! Overall, my stay at the White Hart Hotel was exceptional, and it was largely due to the outstanding service from Niamh, Craig, and Elliot. I can't wait to return!

We arrived Friday 8th November, the night before our son's wedding. The staff on shift in the afternoon were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good for what you pay. The staff in the evening were superb. Niamh, Craig ,(super isors) made sure all our needs were met. The staff behind bar were great too and always on hand with quick friendly service. Top of the tree was our waiter Elliot. He was amazing 🤩 food came exactly how we wanted it. Elliot made sure we had drinks and always checked on us. It was definitely a fantastic start to our weekend. Thank you all

The food was good and well priced. The main courses came one at a time with 10 minutes between each! What could have been a disaster was markedly improved by the charming and pragmatic staff

Went for a party,so was a good place

Pleasant atmosphere, a bit chilly in the restaurant but they closed the door on request. Portions were to standard, gammon was a bit smaller than expected but all good flavour. Request at till point were ignored by the kitchen but nothing that can't be fixed

The staff went above and beyond for us. Rooms excellently cleaned. Breakfast was great.

I went to the pub, not the hotel, I cannot comment on that service.

Went to the bar here for some food and drinks with mates laat week. Staff are excellent, everyone was really friendly there. Thank so much guys we had a great time, will deffo be coming back!!!

All I can say is don’t stay here. It is not a hotel at all it is a pub with rooms which you can’t swing a cat in. The rooms are really basic and in great need of refurbishing and decorating. The bathrooms were poor, the tiling and floor were terrible. The toilet in my room tilted back because it was not seated properly as you can see from the photo. The bathroom window was horrible again see photos. The bedroom window would not shut therefore you could hear all the noise from downstairs. Some e was drunk on the corridor with a security guard trying to move him. It was bedlam. The room I was in was 4 fights of steps up and no lift. The food was not the best at all. Avoid staying here. The only positive I can give is the towels were clean.

Absolutely Fantastic, as a wheelchair user I'm always concerned at how I'm going to be treated. Your staff was absolutely fantastic, helpful and what impressed me the most was they came down to my level instead of talking down to me .

Bar area, etc, a bit run down. I was very disappointed as the website says dog friendly 😕 but on arrival, I found it was not. Only dog friendly in outside seating area, and if weather cold or raining as on our visit then now where to go. So, I paid for parking on site for 2 hours and wasted money.

Stayed at the hotel and had dinner in the bar. Amazing service from Craig and the team. Comfy bed and a great shower. Food was tasty and great value. Will definitely visit again.

Just want to say thankyou to Danika & all the staff who made my party an amazing night. The function room with a fully stocked bar was the perfect place to celebrate.

Family meet up. Decent pub grub. Veg chilli was delish. Like the fact u can choose a lighter option rather than chips ! Dog came too!

Had our 10 year wedding anniversary in the function room and it was absolutely perfect. Perfect venue with plenty of parking and the friendliest of staff. A huge shout out to Danika who was absolutely fantastic, great person, and so helpful. Thanks White hart

As a wheelchair user I thought that the White Hart was easy to get into with my wheelchair. Straff was very helpful and friendly. The only small thing that I find was, the disabled toilet needed to be updated.

Called in for a swift half, good alcohol free options but served in dirty glasses. Im my case, the rim of the glass was actually crusty with residue. Renovate your glasses and look after your glassware. It's not difficult. Standard boozer, great if you want to watch the horseracing.

Spent a night here with my fiance. Nice clean rooms. Staff are so friendly. Food and drinks are great. Can't wait to return. Lady manager was so attentive. All staff brilliant.

Quite possibly the best food in not just Newmarket, but the surrounding area as well. Very good at pouring a pint too and the staff are very good. If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a beer and bit of lunch go here

Always a pleasure to stay here, very welcoming, great menu, happy friendly staff, 20% off all food when your a guest at the hotel is a welcome bonus. Rooms warm, inviting, exceptionally clean rooms and bathrooms always a luxury for us to have a hot bubble bath, can't wait to come back 😁 x

Cheers for the parking ticket maybe a sign at the bar or staff asking didn’t think on a Sunday night you would charge for using your bar !!!

We travel to Newmarket frequently to visit family and always stay at the White Hart. The staff takes great care of us, the rooms are clean and comfy, the restarant downstairs is great, and you can't beat the location right on the High Street. We have consistently had very good experiences over the past 2 years. Be sure to register your car if you are parking.
