Best Western Heath Court Hotel in Forest Heath

Arrived early and asked if we could leave the car while looking around the town, The receptionist then informed us that our room was ready so we could check-in. All the staff here are lovely and friendly and our room was really spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was very good with good choice, really enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely be returning soon.

I was surprised with a room upgrade for the same price in my arrival! Room was lovely! Breakfast delicious 🙂🙂

This was a breakfast for the British Legion they hold this once a month so if you're in Newmarket element that was British Legion come on down

Regularly come here for coffee after a walk or to meet friends. Always clean with friendly staff

We had our company Christmas carvery lunch here 13/12/2024. We received a warm welcome, the staff were amazing and the food was delicious, not a fault for our party of 20, so much so we have pencilled this in again for next year. Parking on site. This is a well recommended venue for all your needs from small to large partys 🥳

It's not a very nice place for meetings No bins No labels on the food..... need to guess

I stayed at the Best Western Heath Court Hotel in order to attend a training course. The room was clean and warm. Large mugs and a normal sized kettle were provided. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the each meal was well cooked. The service was attentive without being intrusive. All the staff were friendly and professional.

Fantastic party booking for Sunday lunch. Carvery, beef (very nice but not available rare) and pork, also fish and chicken available if preferred. Nice hot plates to keep food warm, and all food nicely cooked and presented, waiting staff service at your table for drinks were very pleasant as was the bar staff & well trained. The cost was £62 per person two courses including drinks, only grumble was "my eyes too big for my belly" as there's plenty! We will definitely go again.

We have stayed in this hotel on multiple occasions and have always felt welcomed with friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond. The rooms are always cleaned to an exceptional standard and cleaning staff are respectful of belongings. We feel like this is becoming a second home for us and the staff make us feel comfortable and a very family oriented environment. My eldest daughter works in Newmarket so we are often down to visit and this is definitely our go to hotel. The location is perfect, especially for watching my daughter ride out every morning up the Heath. We also took out Akita on our last stay and we couldn’t thank everyone enough for looking after him so well, he was well loved by all.

Had dinner as part of Fordham Bowls club end of season ceremony on 19th Nov Had a fabulous time, staff were friendly and food was good. Would recommend

The ballroom was beautiful. The food was lovely, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Was attending Fordham bowls club gala on Saturday 19th, it was a perfect evening, thank you.

The Airtcon could only be controlled by Reception. I took the remote down the following day and they replaced it. So i spent the whole night either hot or cold for no reason! The food is terrible. I was on a course so it was free but I booked else where for dinner. I'd rather pay my own money than eat there for free! The view of the horses was amazing.

Perfect location for a small wake following on from my Mum’s funeral. We had a cosy corner of the bar to ourselves, with delicious hot food served and friendly staff looking after us throughout. Thank you for accommodating our needs on a difficult and sad day

From start to finish , staff were attentive, the room even though we upgraded was excellent so in our experience could not fault. The food was very pleasant and the breakfast superb.

We popped into Best Western, Newmarket for a couple of drinks Saturday. 6th April 2024. And had very friendly greeting by a lovely young man who I found out was named Finn. Very busy person making sure everyone was happy and had a drink nothing was too much trouble. He is an access to the Hotel. Also their was a young lady Chef that was passing asked if we were eating there, I said sadly no as we have arrangements to go out elsewhere. I did not get her name but she was very nice. Just those two people will make us go back even if it isfor drinks and meals. As we live in mildenhall I would imagine staying there would be just as good. We give maximum stars. Thank you for looking after us Finn.

80th birthday party, great all round experience. Special mention to Finn who looks after us, went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after!

Good location for morning coffee or lunch. The staff were excellent, very attentive and they went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after. Will certainly revisit.

We had our anniversary dinner tonight the staff were absolutely brilliant and could not do enough for us. They did not know it was a special day for us but they made it special thank you so much .

Best Western Heath Court this is best in all true sense. Credit goes to the hardworking and courteous staff. It begins at the reception where Amy helped me check in. Sarah the Manager got me set up. Over towards the restaurant, Chloe and Fin always served with a big smile and were able to convey my requests to the Chef Theresa who worked her magic on those requests.

I stayed here for work. It was clean and comfortable. Nice enough
