This is our local so we visit regularly. Its run by a wonderful couple who understands all the diversitys of what the locals want but offer a incredibly warm welcome to New visitors and old also alike. This is my local so my partner and I come a lot. Always a warm welcome from the landlord, landlady and all the staff. The food is excellent and fantastic quality and value for money. Kev’s salt and pepper chips are the best around and Kev is more than happy to cater to your personal dietary needs. A cosy, traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere.

Took my 7 year old for a burger for our tea after his swim lesson, definitely recommend large carpark , good choices on menu, large portions , very tasty and staff were very friendly , 5 stars from us

Went to the soul & Motown night on Friday 24th march. What a fantastic experience. The singers were amazing and the pizzas and salt & pepper chips were homemade fresh and very tasty. Staff were very helpful and the service was great. Thanks for a great night👍👍

Food nights are cracking. Just been for pizza. Again as always pizzas are awesome. Homemade and fresh ingredients. Burger night is well worth trying too. Great selection of beers to go with it as well. Highly recommend it

A friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in, bar staff are second to none, always accommodate to your needs. Beer is lively, always a decent pint. Family friendly pub with fun filled activity’s for children. Children’s party’s are great if you can get tickets always a sell out!! Food is delicious, available all day every day if chef Kev is available. Pub has always got great conversations with regulars lots of laughs to be had over all great atmosphere whenever you attend. #Rachelisthebest#justsaying

Had a great Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was great and the food delicious. I had vegetable soup with thick crusty bread covered in butter. In our group we also had the chilli and a jacket potato , chicken, stuffing and gravy baps all went down a treat. A great local.

We have been here several times now and we are never disappointed. Such a great atmosphere and very accommodating for families and children. What a great family run pub this is! Highly recommended

Went to the Wheatsheaf for a pint, very welcoming landlord and landlady.. great value drinks and they also do food. Massive pizzas but only on certain days. Huge Chicken wings which are fantastic value. Highly recommend.
