Absolutely outstanding for any occasion!!! Good pint , good banter , top notch food 👌🏼 and the Owner Alex is the man!!

Just back from my Mum's 90th birthday function in the Westwood. We had a great night. Larisa and Dillon were so helpful in the run up to the party, making it all easy to plan. On the night, Larisa, the caterer and the bar staff couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to book another function, hopefully my Mum's 100th birthday. Thanks so much.

I'm so glad that the Westwood community pub is back open, since they're opened up all I can say the staff are great, very accommodating & Dylan & his team are fab, some we glitches if they would put out napkins & cutlery out @functions, but I would highly recommend the Westwood food is great. 👌

Booked a table for 20 ladies for dinner Saturday 5th October, every meal was delicious and staff where great,thanks to the chef, Michelle and her team xxx

Very welcoming venue. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Service was excellent, only downside, it was cash only for drinks. Apart from that it was a great place

Was here for my Aunt and Uncle's Golden Wedding Celebration. A great evening was had by all and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

Attended a 30th party function, really enjoyed myself, staff were really helpful/professional. The buffet was lovely, great variety of food, everything was super tasty and well cooked, absolutely spot on. DJ was great too, involved everyone in the room. Place had a great vibe, staff were lovely, food was great, I highly recommend this place.

We had our Son Logan’s Christening reception here just recently and I can’t thank Charmaine and her colleagues at the Westwood Bar enough, they made sure our family was well looked after and used sensible precautions where necessary to make sure the day went beautifully and safely. The private function suite was perfect as was the food and service, and to cap it off Eve’s Picture Perfect Parties had done some fantastic balloons to mark the occasion. Couldn’t have asked for better. Would highly recommend.

Quiet atmosphere, friendly staff

Could be a little bit cleaner but at least they have cheap alcohol

They gave us a good night out. The bar was well staffed and the service good. The food in the buffet was also very good.

The reason we were at the Westwood Bar was for a funeral meal. Sausage rolls, sandwiches and a selection of cakes. Nicely presented and tasty.

good beer garden pity don't do food anymore

Really disappointed with the Hogmanay Party, despite the fact it was supposed to be over 25 it was full of underdressed kids wearing tracksuits. Within the first an hour an elderly couple left as it obviously not meant to cater for their age group. The buffet was four trays of greasy macaroni served without Napkins to clean your hands. My partner said the male toilet was dealing more drugs than Boots. To top it all the £15 ticket states that it was on until 2am yet the bar staff packed up at 1.30 and told people to leave. No wonder other locals went elsewhere, shambles.

Stairs are a problem you should be advised that there is a back entrance

Dosnt look much from the outside but a really nice please good food cheep drink and all staff are wonderfull

Not in the best of local but other than that service was great and soup & sausage rolls were excellent.

Had lunch in the beer garden today. Good service and most enjoyable food. Gardens a wee bit jaded but still very relaxing. Toilets nice and clean. Will certainly go back.

Attended an 18th and 21st joint party and to be honest it felt as though as many people had been squeezed in a possible. I couldn't talk to my partner without yelling across the back of a person who, wedged in as the chairs were, was sat at the table behind us. Everything else was fine and when that table had vacated it became much easier and rommier. Great bar prices and food was great.

At a function, staff were good and facilities excellent.

Great place. Entertainment advertised, get in early if you want a seat! Staff are great. Locals friendly. Loo always clean. Family area/lounge upstairs (no use if you have mobility problems). Right next to local shops and takeaway places. Great for a wee drink on a Saturday afternoon while watching footie. Banter brilliant. Definitely recommend the Westwood!

Good Rangers pub simply the best price not bad

Looking to get in contact with a guy I use to work with his name is Paul Murphy would be around 55 I worked with Paul in the early eighties in Safeway in Hamilton and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have drank in this bar for over 40 years have had freat nights but in the last few years the harmony is not the same.same auld faces but input from management not ever the same as past years.need to appreciate the way we were and what we need!70/80/90s they were magic!

The lady behind the bar (tall with dark hair) is just lovely. Always very friendly when I take my papa for his weekly guiness!

For me it's handy it's good for funk shins.

New management and staff are doing a great job. Good selection of drinks and beer garden and food are a bonus.

Lovely food everything all home made belinda the chef is great got to try the steak pie it is very good and there is a play park in the garden for kids x

The atmosphere in this pub is very good, it doesn't matter what team you support. The music on their jukebox is varied and a lot of sing-alongs occure. Great stuff.
