Staff are always really friendly, food is great, can be a bit pricey compared to other curry houses. However, it’s a bit more of an experience and they’re great for big parties. They will always make a real effort if you tell it them it’s somebody’s birthday. Small reception area where you can have a drink whilst waiting for friends to arrive

Very efficient and friendly staff food was excellent

It was my first time at Westbourne spice, The welcome was so nice, we didn't have to wait even for a minute.. Got a table straight away, Food arrived really fast,,, Food was so delicious... Staff was friendly even the boss welcomed us with a big smile, very clean and organised restaurant..... I will be defo coming here again... My son is one of there delivery driver...

We went to Westbourne Spice for the 1st time tonight. The food was absolutely fantastic, my Chicken Tikka Garlic Balti was 11 out of 10 👌 The owner introduced himself to us and he was so nice & friendly, the staff are all fantastic & all very friendly and polite. We highly recommend this place to anyone & we cant wait to return very soon.

Westbourne is our absolute favourite. Always great food and service. Babar is one of our regular waiters and he is so polite and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant!

Atmosphere and service are excellent. The staff are great & just the right amount of attentive. Food comes at a reasonable speed even when busy. Veggie options are slightly bland. Not quite as good as our last visit a few years ago, overall.

They can't do enough for you. toqeer is an absolute gem. Had the best time with the best food in a great atmosphere.

Friends recommend this place a while ago and now it's our go to for an amazing Curry night, definitely worth the drive from Hull! Recommend booking as it's so popular, only downside is it's not closer to us 😂

Going to sound old before my time, but the music was a bit loud. Couldn't really hear my friends speak. Great service though and very good food.

The food was outstanding my 2 main course meals were very good I had a starter prawn chicken pancake with salad and my lamb khari was so lovely the lamb was so tender and the staff were so helpful and made us all welcome and I would come back again soon

Got to be the nicest Chicken and Spinach Karahi I've ever tasted. This place was recommended and they weren't wrong. The portion sizes are very generous, staff are friendly and quick to ask if you need anything. We were working near and even had a second visit it was that good. Masala fish was nice and the prawn Puri. Would definitely recommend.

Went here tonight with my wife for an inpromptu meal. Car park was busy but soon fiund a table as plent of room inside, whuch for a Tuesday night was busy. Quickly served and drinks brought promtly Early bird menu goes till 9 p.m. Great choice too. Popadums and pickle tray were excellent. Lamb chops good but for my wifes liking could have been cooked a bit longer, but that's her preference. Chicken liver Tikka was delicious with both having generios portions. Lamb Tikka again excellent and the lamb was very tender. My wife had Chicken hydrabadi, but she didn't finish it as she was full and brought it home, but enjoyed what she had. Chappatis and Naan also very good. Staff very attentive and friendly too. Was my first visit for years and my wifes first ever. We'll be back. We'll be back

My husband enjoyed the food from the Early bird menu. I wanted a 'mains'off the other menu but couldn't even if paid a supplement . Staff not very helpful. Prompt service but it actually felt rushed!

Food was lovely had 4 courses for £22 wasn't really 4 courses but was very nice and the starters were massive. Would do again. Chicken Chilli Balti was great 👍

Tried to overcharge us separately for something already included in the Early Bird menu. Also charged for a slice of lime in a tonic water, never had that before!

My go -to curry house. If I could give more stars I would. From the moment you enter you are warmly welcomed and the whole experience is fantastic. The food is exceptional quality, flavour and the portions are huge. Everything is cooked freshly to order and served at perfect temperature. To top it off the prices are also super reasonable. Usually, we book a table, but I was nearby and decided a takeaway was going to be the treat ... The food is the best curry I've ever tasted ... The service is 100% - the staff are so friendly and attentive without being intrusive. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD & SERVICE

I am aware of the reputation of the restaurant and seen where it scores on TripAdvisor. I went with high expectations. I loved the extra sauces with the poppadoms, plum and some other garlic one. The starters were great. The main course however was the issue. As a Chinese food lover I am used to a bit of salt but I don't think I have ever tasted so much in a dish, and not just mine. It went past enhancement to taking away the taste. Wanted to like it as a proper Indian restaurant but the heavy handed salt killed it. Maybe it was a one off mistake in kitchen, will give it another go. They obviously get something right as absolutely packed out on a Thursday. **I went back yesterday and food was superb so must have been a one off with the salt. Changed the review.

Absolutely fantastic curry house one of my favourites. The food is absolutely outstanding everything we ordered tasted hot, fresh and well seasoned. The staff couldn't be more helpful they catered to our every need refilling our water and napkins without even being asked and making sure we always have a beverage from the bar. I love the atmosphere there it's very traditional. The mood lighting really adds to the experience. For me and my wife it's the go to curry house they never disappoint. The pricing is very fair and from start to finish you feel like you have been looked after. I would highly recommend this curry house.

Went here for my husband's 60th birthday. I cannot praise the staff highly enough as my niece has special dietary needs and they could not do enough for us. We were a large party and the food and service was amazing. We will definitely be back . Thank you for a wonderful evening

Great meal out. Service was impeccable and fast, which is exactly what you need with a young family. They also do reduced size dishes for the kids. The food was also absolutely delicious. Five stars from me!

We have been going to Westbourne Spice for several years, taking advantage of the early bird menu. The food quality and portion size are fantastic and always fast and attentive service. They've brought out cakes with sparkly candles for birthdays, and are always ready to pack up any leftovers for you to take home. Slight negative is the price for the early bird menu has shot up! Feels like over the last 12 months has gone from around £18 a person to £22.50 currently. I do understand that business costs have risen so I will forgive that, as the food and service is really good and we will return again!

STUNNING! I eat in "Indian" restaurants all over the country twice a week and this is now in my top three! Sadly, Im only passing through but so glad I did because I've struck pure gold. Restaurant: clean, modern and they've got the background music just right. Waiting staff: Knowledge, super friendly and have mastered the art of waiting. Food: perfectly cooked with an extraordinary blend of spices that produce an unique taste with a true depth of flavour. THANKS to everyone who served and cooked for me 👌👍😁

Wow this place is amazing... I love the decor, lights and the feel of it all, looks very modern, clean and high quality also the service throughout was very professional and friendly! The food was so nice and definitely one of the best karahi's I've had. Very tasty and spiced just right. The saag aloo and naan were also very good. So glad we found this place and I will definitely be back next time I'm working this way 💯

We have been getting take away from Westbourne for 5 years now. We have not ones had a bed meal from there. It is spot on. Absolutely marvellous.

Visited here after several recommendations. It was really worth the hype. Excellent food and service very impressed.

Super place for Pakistani and Indian food with many regional specialities from the Indian subcontinent. Service is very friendly and professional and the food is most excellent. We dine as a family group of 5 adults and a young child and they are very welcoming to children. At 5.00pm on weekends many families are there with children. We order our food Apne or Asian style and it is always top class with just thr eight amount of chili and lots or wonderful aromatic spices. Their vegetable dishes if ordered as side or main dish all have distinctly different flavours and we generally order 1 fish curry, 1 meat curry and 3 different vegetable curries between us. Their breads are top quality, and we love the Tandoori Rotis. I have been eating Pakistani and Indian foods since being at school in Bradford back in 1973. Highly recommended

Had an amazing night last night as Westbourne spice. We travelled 30 mins from our town as we heard such good things and it did not diddapoint. The staff were so warm welcoming and polite, it was a Tuesday and very busy which is always a good sign, and of course the food was delicious and good portions. We will certainly be back xx

First visit, and we had to wait 45 minutes for our table that we booked for 8pm on a Saturday evening. The waiter did apologise, but it was disappointing having to wait when we were hungry. The food was good, you could easily share a main between two people and get sundries. The music was too loud so it was difficult to have a conversation with our party.

I Didn't enjoy the meal, meat jalfrezi not even the spices could bring a sparkle to the dish, the meat was so bland and flavourless.

Can not fault the Westbourne from arriving to leaving Excellent all round well worth every penny and more

Our favourite curry house hands down!! Always very friendly, the front of house staff always recognise us when we go and we always get looked after. Food is amazing which is why we always go back!

Having tried the curries as takeaway which were very enjoyable, I booked a table here for my mum’s birthday. The atmosphere and service in the restaurant is the best and makes for a really memorable and enjoyable dining experience. The variety of curries and the flavours were fantastic, with the chef actually bringing out the dishes from the kitchen to our table. Thank you to all the staff for a great night and I look forward to returning again soon!

We visited westbourne spice on the recommendation of a friend and we wasn't disappointed. We ate early with our toddler and there was a good amount of young kids and babies with other diners. The service was nice and friendly especially Thiab who took my toddler for a walk around during our main course, he was very pleasant and my little one really took to him. The food was great, we had the early bird which was brilliant value for money. We will be returning soon!

Always superb food and great atmosphere

Lamb chops are fantastic although taste like mutton and the Chicken Bhuna is to die for. I think drinks on the whole are very expensive and can usually double your bill so if on a budget get some water. All in all a great restaurant.

Just visited as part of the Instagram famous Jazzy Boys Curry Club, Westbourne is an incredible curry house. Fantastic service from the moment we walked in, quick and attentive. The food is Fantastic! Portion sizes generous. Mixed Sizzler starter was superb. Can't fault this place! New favourite curry house.

Great place. Me and a few friends just visited and can say that we were all extremely happy with the food and the service. Very pleasant staff, food came out quick and was piping hot, you could tell everything was made fresh. Food was really really good and most impressively was the portion sizes, I can safely say there's almost double than what I'm used to at most places. Wish this place was nearer to us as the food is fabulous. Service friendly . We wondered why people were leaving with doggy bags. Big portions. Order a bit less than you might normally. Best Mushroom Pakoras I've ever had , whole fresh mushrooms in light crispy batter, and ok for me with my gluten intolerance. A good half hour away from us, but will re-visit sometime in the future.

One of my favourite curry restaurants. This is a desi style restaurant rather than the usual BIR style restaurants in the UK. The menu is quite pricey however the food is of excellent quality so I have no problem with this, I'd rather pay more for quality. Staff are really friendly and attentive, they are also really good with children. They've squeezed us in without booking every time despite being incredibly busy. Note that on weekends this place fills up in the evening and is generally full all night. Photos are of keema, garlic naan, pilau rice and chickpea aloo chaat

I LOVE this place! Unbelievable curries, the best customer service I've received at a restaurant in a long time and just all in all, an excellent experience.. You are welcomed into the restaurant by a designated meeter and greeter and then handed to a designated waiter who looks after you like a VIP.. I couldn't fault this place even if I tried! We came 5 days ago and I've just tried to book in this evening (Tuesday) and it's full - typically but expected as its so nice. I can't wait ti return again ❤️
